This was a stop for our family while we were in town for a family reunion. They worked very smoothly at preparing a table for all 8 of us. Their electronic wait list was very convenient and the host was very attentive at making sure there was proper seating for all of us as we needed sturdy chairs for our elderly guests. To start with, I've been going here countless times over the past 12 months. On average, probably 3 times a month over this period of time. However, recently the service, food quality, portion sizes, and prices have gone drastically downhill. I've turned a blind eye to this on previous visits because ultimately I wanted the business to succeed through their seemingly difficult economic struggles. Today after our meal, my family and I decided this was our last visit. I could ignore the fact that our waiter did not take our order for about 15 minutes after being seated. I could ignore that our drinks were not served until our food came out. What I could not ignore was that my children's chicken tenders came out still frozen in the middle. Gross! First of all, wtf are they doing reheating frozen tenders to begin with? Second, they can't even reheat them to an acceptable temperature before serving them? We sent the plate back, and got a replacement plate of tenders cooked to the SAME cold temp in the middle. We had enough and asked to speak to the owner. When he came out he was argumentative and defensive about the situation. We refused the replacement plate and asked him to send it back to the kitchen. He took it away, and unexpectedly came back moments later with the plate of chicken. This time there was a meat thermometer stuck into the chicken, and he started arguing with us about how they were cooked properly. Mind you, this chicken was cold on the inside to the touch. The patio is fantastic: spacious, well-shaded, and right on the driving range with a nice yard area. It's the kind of place you want to hang out at. I will return for this reason alone. But the food? Definitely felt like it came straight from the freezer aisle. Soggy fries, bland flavors, nothing fresh or memorable. Service was just as underwhelming. It was so unclear what to expect that we honestly thought it was self-service. We got our own silverware and napkins, only to later be told we weren't supposed to... but they still never brought any to our table. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon on the patio. At happy hour we enjoyed spicy Rita's, bacon fat popcorn and the summer burrata. I wouldn't get the popcorn again, it was decent popcorn but only slightly bacony and not worth even the happy hour price for me. The lamb burger and fried chicken sando were perfectly cooked though and we really enjoyed the tangy goat cheese topping on the lamb burger. A Crafty Place to Gather! Nestled on the outskirts of Spokane Valley is the local gathering place known as Craft and Gather. A pub, a craft beer sanctuary, a restaurant and a place for kids to eat make Craft and gather a great place for everyone to enjoy. On a recent visit to the Spokane Valley area, I had a chance to eat and drink here and I had an almost perfect experience. The place was almost full on a Sunday night with some people there to drink and there for dinner and drinks. On the TVs near the bar, you could watch hockey, football or baseball games. I was sat fairly quickly at a high top near the bar and my server came to my table within a few minutes. She helped me to choose some local craft beers to try and helped me select food for my dinner. I tried their version of Burrata which came with a healthy-sized portion of soft cheese, oil-drizzled tomatoes and big slices of locally sourced toasted bread. Next up was my main course a curried chicken breast made with tender and juicy chicken breasts with a mild curry flavour. A very nice and not too overpowering dish to enjoy with a couple of local selections. There was a timing issue with my food as my main course came to the table only minutes after the burrata was served. Other than that Craft and Gather is a great place to enjoy good beer and enjoy great food. read more

The (good) cheeseburger was served with a terrible looking bun. I asked for it to be replaced, which they did, no problem. The salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing tasted house made. One of us ordered the steak bites with fries. It was strange and not what was expected. The steak had been cut into quite small pieces and laid over tepid fries and topped with the sauce. Such an amazing find. Located at the old Painted Hills Golf Course is this fun spot with a beautiful outdoor space and driving range. A friend and I met up for dinner and sat outside to enjoy a beautiful spring evening and the lovey scenery. We started with the bacon fat popcorn and porky fries. Absolute deliciousness! The fries came topped with seasoned pulled pork, white cheddar, and pickled jalapeños. We each had one of their signature cocktails, The Huckleberry. Made with local huckleberry vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and cayenne. Perfect starters. For the entree I had the vegetable risotto with shrimp. Hands down THE best cheesy risotto I have ever had. I saved some for leftovers. My friend had the Steakhouse Burger and she couldn't stop raving. It came with bleu cheese, smoked bacon, fried onion, and ancho-chile sauce. It looked wonderful. Overall a great evening at a great location. I will be back! You should check it out too! read more

This a wonderful establishment. They are located in the valley but well worth the drive if you aren't from the area. The resturaunt is in a secluded area with a great outdoor patio. The outside patio area has a few heaters and some yard games like corn hole. They are still serving customers during the pandemic. Masks to enter are required. The menu is great and has not too many option that it is overwhelming but not too little that there may be nothing you want. The lamb burger I ordered was phenomenal. It's a perfect spot for a date night, hanging out with friends or even playing cornhole on the set they have on the back patio. Lamb burger was tasty ; cooked to a perfect medium and with a delicious mustard sauce. Red onions and cucumber added a nice crunch. A little heavy on the herbed cream cheese, but overall great, and something I would order again. 4 rating overall, but definitely 5 star service. My server, Heidi, was awesome. Helpful, friendly and funny, she did a great job. This is an converted club house to a long gone golf course. It's not level with the highway and is easy to miss, so pay attention.
