Prices are good for the combination massages that are offered. However there are some things that I did notice. As another reviewer mentioned, lighting was brighter than normal. Not as dim as most places i've been too, and they dont have the eye cover on at all times. However, the day after the massage my entire back/neck is sore from the massage. He had really strong hands and used a lot of pressure to the point where it felt unbearable. There were times when he asked if it was too much pressure, and to be honest the strong pressure was fine at some spots. But areas that are more sensitive like my neck area he should have went easy on the pressure. Pressure amount should vary depending on the location. read more

Great massage at a great price, I felt like relaxed jello after my 60 min massage! Better than another place I tried in Chinatown in San Francisco! The only thing at Big Foot that was uncomfortable was having my feet in the bucket while on my back and having my scalp massaged. I have sciata and that position made my back hurt even more. I am use to the massage places giving out a 15 minute massage before hand but this place did exactly what I asked, nothing extra. I have been a loyal customer of Bigfoot Reflexology for about two years. Today was my last visit. Over the course of these two years, I have sadly seen the quality of this place decline, more than a couple of scheduling issues to tobacco reeking employees working on street clothes, however, I sticked with it because the massages were soooo good. Today, I decided to try it once again, so I scheduled a 70 minute massage. As I walked to the place I saw a guy smoking outside, and I later realized he was the one who helped me. As he was working on my head I could smell the nasty tobacco mixed with soap. Ok, it was not unbearable, what really was, was the quality of the massage. He missed most important points on my head and forehead (one area I really look forward to when I go), and the massage was more or a rub than a massage despite the fact that I asked for more pressure. Honestly, my 12 year-old gives me better massages and applies better pressure than the person who helped me today. i thought about stopping the massage midway and walking out. I should have. When I notified the person who charged me about the lack of quality of my massage, he just replied that it would be better next time to which I replied that there would not be a next time. I was not looking for a discount but empathy and accountability. Nope, nothing. I don't use this type of language often, but I can't find any words to express what the experience really was: 'IT SUCKED! Next time, I will definitely try High Stone Massage on Hwy 26 in Colleyville. Had I not spent the $36 dollars for the joke of massage I had today I would be already driving to High stone right now. This place was recommended by a friend but it seems I came at a bad time. The employee that was working on my friend right next to me was talking, yawning, farting and coughing most of the time. I've been going to Bigfoot for over 2 years. I go quite frequently because it's less than a mile from my house. I used to rave about this place and tell everyone I knew. As of lately, the place has really lost the charisma that I've always loved. For the past few months, when I would go, there were very few clients and a ton of SLEEPING staff. Every bed would be taken by a sleeping and generally snoring masseuse. It's like walking into a grownup daycare during nap time. Today I went, as a one last chance type deal. I requested a 70 minute massage. Again, I walked into nap time. Within 10 minutes of my massage one of the sleeping staff began snoring, unbearably loud, so loud that I asked the guy working on me to ask the snoozing fella to stop. I couldn't even hear the relaxing music. About 15 minutes after that, another sleeping staff started snoring. I was so irritated by then that I barely even remember the massage. The funny thing is there are signs every where asking visitors to be quiet for other clients already in a session. I was truly appalled and told the girl at the counter that I would be looking for another place to frequent. I was just shocked at the disrespect and laziness they were towards their paying clientele. I haven't been to the Preston location yet but I won't be back to this one and highly recommend anyone trying it out to take a look behind the curtain for any snoozers before agreeing to 70-90 minutes of freight train. Purely disappointed in the recent downfall of the overall service. One star only because it represents what USED to be a perfect gem of a place. read more

I love this place. You need to find the right masseuse that is right for you. Some people's complaints make me sad. If I worked in a place that was dark, soothing and relaxing I might fall asleep there too. Not to mention these guys are probably not paid much and could have second jobs. The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. However, this was my first time at a massage place. The man I had was great but was harsh on me. I'm a tiny person and he used alot of force. I did an hr session combination of my feet & body/head. My foot felt amazing despite how I was ticklish. Once he got to my arm and back that's where it was harsh. My body wasn't tense at all because I was really relaxed where I almost took a nap but then he would use too much force. When he got to my back i literally couldn't breath because the pressure he was using. I felt like I broke my back and it was a really unpleasant feeling. Then towards my neck it was hard. It was like pulling a muscle and the tension was unbearable like my back. It did feel good afterwards but I wouldn't want to experience that painful feeling again. He was really nice and I guess I should've told him it was rough. My bf and his sister massager asked them if they did it too harsh but mine didn't bother to ask how I felt during the massage. Lack of communication from him and me, lesson learned. Overall price is great and friendly place. read more

I wanted to post a 'thank you' here for the guys that were working Monday morning, and a review to let others know how awesome they are. I had a migraine hit me so intensely during the middle of a massage (not their fault, I get migraines!! :) ) that I was rendered unable to see, barely speak, or move. There was a bit of a language barrier, but they could obviously see I was in excruciating pain. These guys were so kind to me -- they did exactly the right thing. It was embarrassing to be so incapacitated in public, basically writhing in pain huddled in the dark corner I'd sought out, but they were so compassionate. It was about 25 minutes before my medicine kicked in enough for me to function, and they were so respectful; gave me space, but came to check on me and offer me water every few minutes. Kindness is a universal language, and I appreciated it beyond what words could express, but I do hope that someone will see this review and translate it for them. I have tried several of the message studios in the area since moving to Grapevine Tx about a year and a half ago. A get a massage about once a month and mostly look to relax. I have now been the Bigfoot Reflexology about 6 times and hands down it is the best!! The environment is calming and clean. They have a large single room with stations divided with sheer curtains or pieces of furniture only so you're not in a tiny room with a stranger!! There has only been one time that wasn't 100% enjoyable and that was just that I had lots of knots and tension and he insisted on working them out......ultimately I was thankful for that, it just wasn't as relaxing as I would have liked while he did that! The prices can not be beat, I usually do 90 minutes and every time I have called they have been able to get me in the same day. I have had good experiences other places as well, but none with the consistency of service as Bigfoot and none even in the ballpark of price. A MUST DO!!!! read more
