This was my first time going to a Korean spa that is similar to what I have seen in Korean dramas. There were a lot more things to do for the entrance fee than I expected. It was $50 to get in. I did not get a massage, facial or any other services they offered. They take your payment upon entering, give you your bracelet for buying anything inside, and clothes to change. The women's locker area was spacious. However, there were only 2 small bathrooms and one sink. The was a pool/hot tub, but you had to be naked to use. There were towels you can grab, but not a lot of amenities were available. Outside of the locker room is the common area for men and women to chat, eat, chill, and go to different types of saunas. There were about 8 different types of saunas. Outside each door, there is a sign that lists the benefits of that specific sauna. It gets loud at times and people don't always say quiet even with signs everywhere. There were plenty of tables to eat after ordering food. You just pay with the bracelet and pay when exiting. There were a lot of food choices on the menu, but some items were expensive. We shared a dokbokki with ramen. It was good, but nothing exceptional. The water station is free. There is an area with recliners and a projector with TV. Overall, my friends and I spent about 2 hours here. It was a good place to relax after getting off the plane. I wish there were even more activities to do with the $50 entrance fee. The amenities in the locker could have been better.

This was my first time ever being at a Korean spa and it will not be my last. I was unsure what to expect from the overall experience but was pleasantly surprised by how clean the facility was and how much time can slip away when you're enjoying yourself. It's of course a little pricey but you do get quite a bit for the cost of admission. The run down: The gender specific locker rooms and the corresponding hot tubs/saunas were very nice. It is very much just an open room with showers and vetting levels of hot tubs and a cold plunge. I was there on a Saturday afternoon so it was fairly busy but still plenty of room in the sauna/pools. I did not participate in the Waterpark but noticed several coming in and out of the locker room who were. I started and ended my day in the sauna and it did not disappoint. At all. The rest of the spa was well organized and fun to explore. I found the saunas towards the back past the big screen to be my favorites. Varying levels of heat and areas for reprieve. The cold room was also an amazing cool off when I was needing a break from the saunas. I also received a massage that was a little pricey but nice. I felt a tad awkward as the Massuer watched me fill out my tip card following the session. Lastly, the food court was great. A little slower on service but decent flavor and fresh tasting. The menu items were a little pricey but after hours in the pools and a massage, it was worth it. I'll absolutely be back as I had a great experience and encourage anyone looking to experience a Korean spa to give it a go.

Have not found a good spa like this since Natura in LA closed. Loved all the different saunas rooms, whirlpools and the entire massage experience! Add this to your list of you are in Dallas.

The jet/bubble on the jacuzzi was not working, but the multiple jets on the big pool was working (but a bit cold)

King Spa & Sauna - September 2025 Review I had a hard time finding recent, detailed reviews before my visit, so I'm sharing mine to help others out. The negative reviews scared me a bit since my husband and I rarely have time for relaxing day together, but Spa Castle is currently closed and we don't want to splurge for World Spring, so I'm glad we went to King Spa anyway. I honestly think it can still be a decent and relaxing experience if you know what to expect! Our last visit was over 8 years ago (pre-Covid), so here's the latest scoop plus a few tips: ** Admission Tip ** Skip paying full price. You can buy a discounted admission at Ko-Mart (Korean grocery store just 2 minutes away). At the Ko Mart cashier, the ticket is $42 vs. $50 at King Spa. ** Waterpark Area ** - They no longer have slides. - The jacuzzi bubble jets weren't working (water was warm-ish but not great). - The big pool had multiple working jets, but the water was a bit chilly. It might be ok if you're visiting during summer. Honestly, if you're short on time, I wouldn't bother spending much time in the waterpark. ** Bath Pools (Gender-Segregated, Nude Area) ** - You must shower before entering the bath pools, and you must be nude. - There are 3 warm pools with working jets and 1 cold pool (jets were off in the cold pool). My favorite was the cold pool, then soak in the warm herbal pool. - They also have a steamy sauna inside this area. ** Sauna Area (Co-Ed, Uniforms Required) ** - Saunas across the food court: Ice Room and 3 warm rooms. I loved the Bulgama. The heat was just perfect for me. - Go deeper toward the big screen/recliner area and you'll find more sauna rooms. The Fire Room (~220°F) was intense but a unique experience. The Base Rock Room was also nice, but you must bring a large towel for this. - After saunas, you can relax, nap, or get food from the food court. If you have more time, finish off with the nude-only bath pools inside the locker area before heading home. ** Couple's Tip ** This is how my husband and I did our visit: - First, check in at the front desk and get your wristwatch key. The number on it matches your locker, and it locks/unlocks it. Keep the watch on the whole time, it's waterproof. - Take off your shoes, then head inside to the help desk to pick up your uniform. - From there, men and women split to their separate locker rooms. Change into your uniform. - If you plan to use the waterpark, wear your swimsuit under your uniform. If not, just change and head back out to the main sauna area, where you can meet up with your spouse/partner. ** What to Bring ** - Large towel - only small ones are provided (large one cost extra), and you'll need a big towel especially for the Base Rock Room. - Change of underwear - you'll be in the uniform most of the time, but it's nice to have fresh undies after showering - Grip socks - helpful if you don't want to go barefoot (sandals aren't allowed). - Deep conditioner - apply before entering saunas and wrap in a towel; your hair will come out super soft. - Korean Sheet masks - fun, cooling, and perfect for the spa vibe. - Hairbrush/comb - the locker room provides toothbrushes, Q-tips, and hair dryers, but I prefer bringing my own brush/comb. ** Overall ** King Spa was clean, and overall we had a refreshing, relaxing time. I think it can still be a decent spa experience if you know what to expect. The waterpark area was a bit underwhelming since the jacuzzi wasn't working, but the bath pools and saunas made up for it in my opinion. For the best experience: grab a discounted ticket at Ko Mart, skip the waterpark, and spend your time rotating between the saunas and bath pools. My husband and I left feeling recharged and happy with our visit.

We came here for our new year celebration with family! Other members came several times in the past but it was first time for me! In my conclusion, I really enjoyed the spa and sauna experiences there! Since I know the Japanese tradition of taking bath in the public, my expectation was quite high but they met my expectations quite nicely! The facility is quite big and it has many attractions/activities there. Spa, sauna, water place, dining place, chilling spots, movie place, foot and full body massage place etc! My brother and I went to the spa first! We were there early so the water was very nice and clear with less people! Love it. Got to try, mild, herbal, cold and hot spa!! Oh how I miss hot spring in Japan but those spa made me feel like I'm in Japan They also had saunas in the male's sections and that was so good! FYI; spa is gender separated and only allowed to use it without clothing, so don't be surprised! After the spas, we got out of male's section and got to try rest of the saunas with my wife and her mom! There were many levels of warmness from freezing cold to sweaty hot! You gotta try all of it! You love it! When you get hungry you can go to the food court and you can have delicious hot meals and sweets as well as boba drinks etc! We just spent whole day doing all things back and forth! The cost of entrance is $50 per person but if you go to the Korean store nearby; Komart, you can buy a ticket for $42 per person saving $8! Anyways, this place is awesome so I hope that they keep up with their food and high standards! Cheers

50$ day pass on a weekday, which was money well spent. You have access to the gender nude hot tub, showers, about 10 different saunas, and a coed heated pools. We splurged and got scrubs too. Def worth it and perfect after an 8hr drive.

First time going and it was a doozy. The saunas kind of all felt the same but the experience was great. Not too busy in a Tuesday afternoon. The price is meh for what it is and I question the sanitation in the sauna rooms due to the sweat being spread. Little sad body towels weren't available except for the small neck towels. The water park had some jets out and the water was Luke warm. Fun to kill time and just chill but not too exciting. The food was pretty good as well

Ask the Community - King Spa & Sauna

How old do you have to be to get in? Is 17yo allowed?

I believe an adult 21 or older would have to be with the 17 year old to get in.

    Is the water warm yet?

    Yes

Are they back to 24hrs yet? I loved being there in the wee times

    8:00am to midnight currently

Is the bar or water park open yet?

Yes, they are both open, or, at the very least, they were when I was there.

    Is it still 24 hrs?

No they are open until midnight

Are there showers in the waterpark locker rooms? I know there are in the main spa locker rooms but haven't been on the watermark side.

    Yes, and lockers as well

There is a membership or how much is the fee?

To get in is $50 pp and then you pay à la carte for everything else

Is there still a nail salon there in 2020? I know a few things have changed. EDIT: I went 3/6/2020,…

There is! I personally haven't used it, but my friend did get a pedi while I had a scrub and she raced about it

Are the locker room showers in a common space altogether, or are they private individual shower stalls?

There are two locker rooms. One associated to the water park and the main ones associated to the spa side. It is segregated by men's locker room and women's locker room. The showers are located in the back area of both the men's locker room and… Read more

Do they charge for bath towels? May I bring my own into the building if they charge a towel fee?

You bring your own towel. I brought a thick beach towel. You can also bring an empty water bottle to fill & drink from. Recommended as you'll sweat a lot.

I am a mother with an 11 year old son. Is there a "family area" or would I have to send my son into a naked changing room without me? You can see my dilemma. Is there a family friendly area?

Yes there is an area where you can go to the bathrooms that are before the entrance of the big pool area (where most kids and adults hang out/swim). To avoid the nudity, you will NOT want to enter the women's locker room area at all! If you are… Read more

    Is PDA allowed here?

    They frown upon it

Is there a way to avoid getting naked in front of strangers like are there stalls?

You can change into your uniform in the bathroom but to go into the whirlpool and steam room you must be naked.

What's the actual nudity policy? How do I avoid the mandatory nude areas? And do people actually have sex here?

I'm not sure where you've been hearing stuff from, but it's not like that at all! I went with a group of friends in November. We were all super nervous about the nudity, but it wasn't weird at all. No one is concerned with you or that you have no… Read more

How much is it to rent big towels and swimsuits there?

    Big towel rental is $2.50

Is it open 24 hours? Can we go there at 3am for example and will they let us in?

Doors are open 24 hours. You can even sleep there overnight if you really wanted too.

Is there a price list for their services anywhere?

Hey! Should be listed on their website and it is also listed within the brochure at the actual place. Best bet is to grab the Groupon then when you arrive pay for additional services if you want them. It's never to crowded and I wouldn't worry about… Read more

I know that some parts are co-ed, some parts are only men or women. Are there hot tubs that a couple can use together? we mostly interested in the hot tub, not interested in dry sauna, and not interested in being separated the whole time. Thanks!

Good Morning ☕️!!! Yes but it will be open for everyone (co-ed). Best couple days I call them to go is the week day late evening and on the weekend early. King Spa have two… Read more

What do I need to bring?

Swim suit, your own soap if you want. I bring a whole bag of travel toiletries with me.

If we go in the morning, can we leave and come back without having to pay again?

No you can"t leave they pretty much have everything there food, nail salon, massage room, a wine bar, bar at pool area and movie room.
