Love this location! The baristas are friendly and the tables are always clean (not a lot of seating if you plan on staying). Wait times vary but that applies to most cafes these days. I'm all about the trendy third wave coffee shops but I always come back for Biggby's oat milk lattes. If you're feeling something sweet or like cafe miels, the Golden Honey Oat Milk Latte (cinnamon, turmeric, honey) is worth a try. read more

Great coffee place! Probably the best one in the city of Clawson and nearby areas. Taste of lattes is always on top, service is friendly and fast! and the ambiance is great! Highly recommend trying the hot lattes with an extra shot of espresso, as they usually have a free extra shot on Friday, that is a great way to get the day going! read more

Not sure why this Biggby has such low reviews. I come here once or twice a year, once at a minimum to get my free birthday drink, and have never had any issues. Today I stopped by for that purpose and I ordered a 24 oz. (gigantic!) mint hot chocolate with soy milk and no whipped cream. It was made as ordered and is delicious ... I forgot how good their hot chocolate is. There's not a ton of seating here so I'd be curious to know if most people spend time there or take their drinks to-go. There's also a drive-through, I believe. Service has always been friendly and fast. read more

Confused by the bad reviews??? This is the location I usually go to as it is on my way to work and between my running around spots! In town for business. I had a 45 minutes to kill before a meeting and wanted a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate to warm me up (it's freezing in MI). What a great staff! I've been here twice with my dog and they've always been nothing but welcoming! They have dog treats to give out and was even given a Biggby Coffee bandana for my puppy! I like their coffee I'm a caffeine lover in general this location is close to the 75 freeway when I'm on this side of town which is very conventient this location has a drive thru which is suppose to make the coffee experience a lot faster I just don't understand why their is always a wait when there is no line. Despite the wait the staff is very friendly. And the overall product is great. First, the baristas who make the drinks must use different techniques because the drinks vary wildly in flavor and taste. If you've had one mocha latte there... you're next will taste different. The navigator on my rental car took me to this location while I was looking for Dunkin donuts. So I gave it a try. I had a sesame bagel with cream cheese and a latte. My wife had the chai latte. Both were as good as you find in other places. The girls working at the place were welcoming and pleasant. They were helpful. I used to go to the one in Shelby twp and that location is so great. They're super fast and always sooo nice. This location is the worst which sucks because I love biggby coffee and this is right by me new house but I won't be back to this one. I get it when you're busy, I used to be a server, but there is no hospitality with the workers here. They'll just leave you sitting at the window while you're drink is sitting there ready while they make the orders for all the cars behind you. Like what!?! I sat there for 10 minutes looking at my MADE drink, while they didn't even come to the window for me to pay. I don't really see how this is effective? This place is hit and miss with customer service. I love Biggby coffee and that its locally franchised. Usually, I can order and have a pleasant experience. I have on two occasions experience snarky/rude service. On one occasion my daughter asked for a kids drink and the girl rolled her eyes and said "you have to be under 12. You're way too old." I said, Sorry. She just turned 13... we didn't know. We now know the rule to be 10. Got it. The second rude service happened with my son. He doesn't like coffee but since there are 1000s of things that can be made with sugar, my question for him (my son) was hot, iced or frozen. The attendant got frustrated (no line behind me) for my son taking a second to answer the question hes 12 and said "Or there's a starbucks down the way..." I really like the coffee, I really don't enjoy the rudeness at Clawson with my kids. Ferndale Biggby is much friendlier. So is Shelby and Bloomfield/Southfield. This is exceptionally odd for this area and I don't go here very often because of it. read more

I went again today to give it another shot. The girl repeated my order to me and was wrong then ( ordered a green hot tea) I get to the window and she asked if I had a green tea latte. I said no just a hot green tea. I get it and it's a green tea with sugar! I am so annoyed. There was no line, I was the only one there. My order was simple. Just a hot green tea!! I really like this location. The customer service is really good, the people there already know what I want when I come in, and they serve really good coffee. I have almost no criticisms of this location, it is really good. I am very glad that I frequent this particular location. I am surprised that it has reviews on this website that are negative and say that the baristas are slow. I was excited when biggby opened in Clawson. I have always been impressed with the customer service at other locations. This location started the same; great customer service! However, there has been a steady decline. Customer service is poor. The coffee has been disgusting! Like drinking hot water! Yuck!!! I've been going to this location for over a year and the staff that originally was there was amazing, nice and fast. Every since it's been under new ownership. It's been slow, crappy service and less than friendly staff. I literally watched a girl make my drink wrong and she insisted that she gave me what I paid for. I get the same drinks all the time. I try to support it, but today I got a tall tea latte (as in tea with milk) and it cost me $5.29!!! Abundant natural light from north facing windows without much computer screen glare. Staff is nice, coffee is good, close to lunch spots and Lotus Brewery for meeting up with clients. Great coffee, great food, great people. Most were complaining about the drive-thu, but I've never had a problem with it during the few time's I've used it. It's cool to see them making the shots of espresso and steaming the milk right in front of you, and it never takes more than a minute to get your latte, so I usually just go inside. The baristas here are very slow and rude. If there was another coffee shop nearby with a drive thru, this Biggby would be out of business. About 90% of my experience with this coffee shop have been negative, whether it's their drive thru or ordering inside. They lack customer service friendliness. They have also charged me $0.50 for a cup of water (other Biggby shops don't do this). I've waited almost 20 minutes in the drive thru. If I go in wanting something new they always have great suggestions or even if I'm not looking for something new they will give me suggestions.
