Unlike literally every other birthday offer that I get from this rewards program that restaurants use, it is not good for the month of your birthday, or even the week of your birthday, or even the day before and day after your birthday, but for ONE DAY only. I made calls to multiple Record stores within the last 2 months prepping, planning on where I wanted to go. Schuler's seemed like the hidden gem no one goes to. I was told, along with several other people that they HONOR THE LINE. I showed up at 4am. I was second in line, made friends with the first and third in line who were also told they honor the line. at 8:45ish a man came out and took note of how many people wanted Taylor Swift only. I was hopeful I was getting my entire ISO and my oldest would get what they want to because again, 2nd in line. Doors open at 9am and the man who came out earlier announces free for all. At that point it became a safety issue, people running, pushing, hollering. I got everything I was after however they only had 1 copy of what Toby wanted and they sold out because of course. I called the grand rapids location, the GM was super nice, offered to send us the vinyl free if they had it in stock but sadly they had only gotten 1 as well and it sold out. I am so sad for my oldest because this was supposed to be a fun experience and because of one careless man, RSD has been forever tainted for us because I really don't want to risk sitting out from 4am-9am in the rain ever again just to be trampled on.
