Don't ask him to repair your cracked screen. His voicemail tells you that and he's right. He only takes Zelle or cash (exact change please). I called this place as I am in Marysville and could not find anyone to come fix my tv which had recently started showing white dots. Yes the guy can be a little short because he's very busy, so no doubt the other reviewer wasn't just saying that, but by the same token he's also very direct and gets to the point. I told him what was wrong and he said he could repair. I told him I was in Marysville and he said it'd cost $50 more for the extra drive, which I said that's just fine. The guy explained his flat fee charge rate and we agreed to having him fix it. I paypal'ed him half the money and he said he'd order the part immediately. A couple of days later I got a text saying the part was in and he'd be by Sunday about 3:30 to repair the tv. Sure enough on Sunday about 2:50 he showed up at my place with the part. He went straight to my tv and got to repairing it very quickly. As he worked he explained what he was doing and showed me his work. He showed great patience when my beagle wouldn't leave him alone wanting him to play fetch with him.. About 30 minutes later he had replaced the TI chip in my DLP and given me the old part. The TV was quickly reassembled and I tested it and voila! Dots are GONE! This guy knows what he's doing, he charges much less than his competitors, my work alone cost about $200-250 less than the other tv repair places I called but in the end they wouldn't even come out to Marysville so this gentleman could have charged more but he didn't. Look, this guy is an excellent tv repairman that does his job, shows up on time and charges a great rate. So yes he may not be the most friendly chit-chat guy on the phone or exhibit a high level of chatty Cathiness on the phone but if you want someone who will show up on time, fix your tv and not charge you an arm and a leg then this is your guy to call. I told Tim I'd definitely give him a good recommendation and if I had further TV-related issues I'd give him a call again. read more

I tend to agree with Shaun H.'s review...what might come across as rude is just this guy going about his job. He's efficient and gets right down to business without a lot of hand holding. We initially called him on a Friday and he said he could come out on Saturday afternoon. Saturday morning he texted to confirm and showed up on time. Without messing around, he had the back of our tv off in a couple of minutes and went about diagnosing the problem. After about 15 minutes he finished up and told us the bad news. The cost of the part was a deal breaker as it didn't make sense considering the overall cost of the tv, but that wasn't the repairman's fault. Overall, he did what he promised in an efficient, no-nonsense manner. He even made some suggestions for our next tv purchase. I'd surely call him back if I have another problem down the road. read more

0 stars if I could. All I did was call to 1st see if they could do any repair to which he immediately started getting snotty, rude, and cussing at me. It was a simple question that didn't need that type of response! Needless to say I didn't follow up with my other questions. I don't care how "technologically" savvy you are; if you can't talk to people properly then you won't get business. Awful experience. I called to get a price estimate on a Sony television. I provided the model number and blinking code in the front of the television. They were very rude and short with me. He replied, "I can't give you a price estimate without knowing what's wrong with it, now can I?" He also told me I still hadn't told him what type of TV or what's wrong with it. Very short and rude. No duh, TV man. This is not your customer's area of expertise. Needless to say, I called other business that were polite and professional and willing to work with me by providing an estimate with all the info I gave them. I don't recommend this business. I called to see about getting my flatscreen TV fixed and the guy that answered the phone was completely rude and disrespectful ! As if he hates his job and didn't want to be there to help us . I would not recommend getting anything done there.! read more

If I could give this guy negative 5 stars I would. I called and asked if he. Oils fix my Sharp 50in smart tv. He has a message on his phone that says he doesn't fix screens. It sounds like if it is physically broken. He said if you've dropped it, hit it, cracked it, put your foot through it he can't help you. My problem is that the bottom right hand corner of my tv is overheating. This is causing that corner of my screen to turn white. The tv overheating is not a screen problem. He called me a fucking stupid bitch that doesn't know how to read or listen because he doesn't fix screens. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I can't imagine how he is still in business. He is so rude and cusses at potential customers for asking questions. Also despite the name being 'Big Screen TV Repair' he seems unable to actually be able to fix TVs and he definitely can't fix screens so the name is very misleading. Save yourself a lot of anger and frustration and look elsewhere for help. read more

If I could do zero stars I would. The guy that spoke with me over the phone was extremely rude to me, and would not help at all. I first ask him if he could help me diagnose the issue, and he wouldn't, wouldn't which I can understand because it's part of his business. I gave this fine establishment a call and he was rude right from the start. I'm sorry that your busy or stressed but that's no reason to take it out on your customers. I don't ever think anyone running a proper business would end a phone call with "nobody works for free" then hang up but that's what this guy did. So if your looking for an upset tv repair man he is the guy for the job. read more
