I have been here several times now and I've brought several people, even grabbed some to bring back to work and here's the thing.. these are literally my favorite donuts (specifically the maple ones). I have had to set a limit for myself on how often I can go. I eat them until I get sick, wait for it to pass and eat some more. I think the dense but soft and warm texture is phenomenal (at least on the white donuts, I've heard the chocolate ones have a different texture). I think the gluten free recipe makes it better, I would choose them over other donuts any day. However, I have had some people say they don't like the texture. No one has said they're awful, just not their favorite. I think you have to try them yourself and see if this is your donut. They're doing everything right (although a bit expensive, probably helps me eat less of them to be honest!). read more

Really good gluten free, vegan donuts in downtown Salem. They are similar to a donut hole in size and shape. We normally get a variety of maple, chocolate, and cinnamon. However, we would recommend only getting what you can eat now. Our experience is that they don't reheat well and they are not as good cold. read more

Finally got to check this place out. I've wanted to visit since I found out they existed, but it's quite a drive from Eugene. We passed through on our way elsewhere but honestly, I think the trip would have been worth it for the donut holes alone. They are phenomenal! Seriously. They're like a mix between gourmet chocolates and donuts. Packaged like chocolates, little, really decadent and addictive. But at the same time, distinctly donut. Fantastic with a cup of coffee and a beautiful morning. I got chocolate (not glazed) with a warm dark chocolate flavor that has a depth to it. Pumpkin and cardamom was great too. Lemon and poppy seed had a nice tart beginning flavor. As a donut lover I was hesitant to try an establishment that ONLY serves gluten free vegan donuts. My hesitations were not unwarranted...Upon looking over the counter my first impression was they're cutting corners. The donut holes are "baked" using a device akin to an easy bake oven for children. I ordered a dozen, two of each flavor. The chocolate and chocolate matcha tasted like a Duncan Hines GF brownie mix. The base or dough severely lacked flavor, it was very bland. I wouldn't even call it dough, it was more cake like. The most flavorful was the lemon poppyseed. But still, the insides of the donuts were quite mushy. I think it's fantastic GF and vegan individuals have a dedicated donut spot, however, it comes at cost. That cost is the overall quality and taste. I'm certain if the donuts were fried or even baked in a traditional oven you would get a much more quality product without the mushy damp centers. But I guess you get what you pay for? Using 13 dollar donut cooking devices? I'll try again in the near future to update my review. read more

Amazing! All my friends and colleagues (vegans and nonvegans) love these! They're peanut allergy free (among many other allergen-friendly designations that I can't remember exactly now). Would 100% recommend. Love that they switch up flavors for the seasons too. I've been to the new shop on Liberty St. twice now. The donut holes, vegan and gluten free, are fresh and delicious.

Delicious donuts. Clean, adorable shop. Customer service is needs work. We ordered a dozen. We got 6. We stood at the area where they hand them out to wait for assistance. The women making donuts made eye contact but ignored us for awhile, and eventually asked us what we needed. We said we were missing donuts and they told us to get in line. We said we already ordered and paid, and they told us "well, they weren't on the sticker". We reminded them, we already orders and paid and let them know what they were missing. They begrudgingly gave us the missing donuts. You can do better. We expect better. Hope to see better customer service soon. read more

Big Wig! Big Taste! Big Flavour! I've been gluten free for several years, so have become somewhat of a "connoisseur" in this category. These donut holes ARE NOT so heavy and sweet (as some restaurants do GF) and so therefore the taste is not masked by sugar. I would not normally go for Maple or Lemon Poppy, but when my tongue hit the 1st bite - my taste buds stood at attention so fast, I swear I heard a "snap"! Also, Kudos for the Earl Grey Latte - again, not so heavy and sweet - I could actually taste the Earl Grey! Go for the 6 or dozen variety, so you can sample each one. : ) read more
