On August 8, 2023, I purchased a Specialized Turbo Levo SL Expert Carbon electric mountain bike for the amount of $8,520.00 (bike plus tax). The bike was purchased from the Bike Place, located at 10524 Moss Park Road, Suite 201, Orlando FL, 32832 from salesman Samir. During my purchase I felt like the store was a family environment, they knew the product well and my test ride went great. The bike was a birthday and late Father's Day present, so I did a lot of research on the brand and type of bike that suited my needs. This bike seemed to be the one and I proceeded with the purchase. After paying for the bike, I was advised the bike should be placed on the charger when I got home so that it could receive a full charge. Then he had me register my bike there to take full advantage of the Specialized App and to have the warranty coverage become effective immediately. After leaving the store I went home and immediately charged the bike to a full charge. Over the next few weeks (within the 30 day return period), I road the bike down my driveway and stayed on my paved road mostly, all of which consisted of rides under 10 minutes and no more than 7 rides. During this period I was looking to purchase accessories for the bike and found the bike was a 2022 model and not a 2023 model as I had assumed. This resulted in me researching the difference between the two model years and during that time I learned the 2023 had a better frame and better electric motor with 33% more power. Since I was under my 30 day return period, I decided to exchange the bike and purchase the 2023 model from them. When I brought the bike in with my receipt I was told they did not have the bike I wanted, that they were no longer a Specialized dealer and that they had to wait for the manager to process the return. I left the bike there and waited in the area for a phone call from them because they are 1 hour away from my home. After an hour of not hearing from them, I called them for an update. They stated they were still processing the return, so I decided to return to the store. Upon arriving at the store, the Store Manager Mike spoke with me and stated that since I road the bike 11 miles and the bike was registered with Specialized it was considered used so he would not be able to give me a full refund. He offered an exchange for a different brand E-Bike which I was not interested in or $1000.00 off of my purchase price. My wife also spoke with him and asked about them reaching out to other locations or other bike shops to try to get the Specialized 2023 model and he was not interested in trying. I had him process the return of $7000.00, plus received $455.00 of the $520.00 tax I paid. read more

I came in to fix my squeaky new (used) bike from Facebook market place. I was greeted with smiling faces and assurance it would be a quick service. As I waited I enjoyed the positive environment and looked at an amazing selection of bikes. The price for my brake adjustment was fair! 20 bucks for a front brake replacement. If you're looking for road bike gear, this is a great place to go. Stunning bikes to choose from, with high value and price on tags! I think of this place as more of a designer store for bikes. My repair took around 20 minutes, so happy with my results and the price of service. Great hospitality, options, and crew! Thanks a million! P.S. We can honestly say this has been the best purchasing experience We've ever had. My husband and I purchased 2 new Specialized SL Levo bikes. Hector, the owner apologetically informed us it was going to take a little longer than expected to set up the bikes. Rather than have us continue to wait in the bike shop he insisted on taking us out for a very nice lunch. Hector and his staff spent valuable time making sure the bikes were set up to our height and weight perfectly. They were also very thorough educating us on the operation of the new bikes as well as setting up our phones with the Specialized "Mission Control" app. We can't thank Hector and his staff enough for their special treatment.
