Brian was amazing. I brought in an old classic bike with non-standard parts, and a bag of replacement parts. He worked his ass off to get it to properly function with the gear, shifters the derailers and all the other parts, including brakes. I found Brain from Yelp, and really need to fix my Giant road bike--- it brings me home every day from Sausalito to San Francisco. Thank you Brian! I was fortunate to meet Brian yesterday during the Mt Tam Double Century ride. I recently switched to tubeless tires so early in my ride my rear tire got very low. After putting air in several times and soon going flat again I was praying for that someone could help me at the first rest stop. Brian was there volunteering his time and support. He decided we would need to remove the tire to find the problem and insert a tube. What a mess! Brian found the problem when a very sharp piece of metal ended up stuck in his finger. He got me back on the road with a tube he donated to my cause and was soon back on the road. I am thankful as this was the final stage of the CA Triple Crown Stage Race. Okay, I have been using YELP for years and I have never ever written review, but everybody with a bike should know about Brian. I recently had a tune up (which I have been getting yearly from one of the bigger bike entities in the Bay area, hint rhymes with Psyche's Bikes) and to be blunt, it sucked. My gears were jumping around and my bike was so loud I didn't even have to say on your left because people could hear me coming from a mile away. I didn't want to wait for a slot to get the problem rectified so I went onto Yelp and learned about Brian. This guy is hands down the best bike tech I have every encountered. He really knows his stuff and he got my bike feeling like it is brand new again, probably smoother than it was when it was brand new. He is a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. Did you know you are supposed to store your bike in the low gear so it doesn't stretch the chain and cables?..... Me neither.
