The main studio, which is a light spacious room is really a great place to practice yoga with mirrors, ceiling fans, and infrared heaters. The teachers are all highly experienced. Rhema is who a owner, teaches a Sunday morning flow class which I've enjoyed attending. Her teaching style is encouraging and she relates to a wide range of students abilities. Ruth Y teaches a combination classes, vin to yin that works real good for me at the end of my work day. David, also and owner teaches a vinyasa class which has a Yoga Boot Camp feel to it. Demanding but enjoyable. Parking in front of the studio is really quite easy. They have functional bathrooms and changing area and adequate props for students. They also use an online booking system which is useful because occasionally they've canceled classes for various reasons, Although I've not attended them, they've had some other events at the school that look fun. They had a Halloween party and even a latin and dance night recently. Pricing for the studio is competitive and teachers experienced and well-trained definitely worth trying out to see where you fit in to their program.

It has forced me to go out of my comfort zone (I even tried Jany's meditation class!) and I am loving the challenges. The staff here is great and so are all the people who come here! I usually am nervous going to a new place by myself but everyone here was very welcoming and made me feel so comfortable me right away. So far I have tried the align and flow classes with Meg and Jany and also the meditation class with Jany. I signed up because they were participating in Make-a-Wish-Hawaii's workout for wishes and they had a great deal - $40 for 1 month introductory fee! Bonus! The studio is beautiful and clean. They are located on the 2nd floor of the building (which I wanna say is a light purple building...maybe purplish gray?) and are above a hula halau space. They are a few buildings away from Maui mui if that makes it any easier to find. There are yoga mats, blocks, and pillows for you to use if you don't have your own and also cleaning supplies to clean everything after you're done. They have a website but you can book classes on the fitdegree app which makes it so easy! If you love yoga (or even if you're a total newbie like me!!), this is the place to go to. You will leave feeling great - your mind, body, and heart will feel even better than it did when you walked in.

But we didn't pack yoga mats and we also wanted a class that could work for all levels. Olivia was super communicative, flexible on her schedule and met us at our rental with yoga mats. She was able to walk us through poses we weren't familiar with including demonstrating modifiers. We focused a lot on balance, breath work and poses focused on collective tension areas within our bodies. We highly recommend Olivia and this yoga business. Especially if you're traveling and want to keep up your yoga practice without the stress of a large class, having to be indoors in a studio and of course if you need a yoga mat.

We've been working with her since 2020 and consider her as essential as our doctors. In fact we see her more often to keeps us away from chiropractors, massage therapists and the doctors office. I've suffered from sciatica for decades and used to have weekly visits to the chiropractor. I would crave massages and acupuncture to release tension in my back. But now I call Olivia and she helps my body fix itself. I've done yoga with dozens of instructors and Olivia is the absolute BEST. Of course she pushes me and the entire hour is difficult to do, but the after effects are profound. After other yoga classes, I notice my mood is elevated and I'm glad I did it but it's often repetitive and a tad boring. With Olivia, amazingly she has an absolutely new routine every single time and instinctually knows where to stretch us. So much of our stress is carried in our shoulders and back - and she has a razor sharp focus on building strength and releasing tension in those areas. After a session with her, I feel like I gave myself an intensive massage. My husband also suffers from back issues - from sitting at a computer too long like a lot of us. If you've experienced this - you know how back pain zaps your energy. It only takes one session with Olivia to set him straight. So if you are like me and you've done yoga for years and looking for something new. Or if, like me, you have back issues and don't want to end up having surgery, get Olivia into your life. Be patient and trust her. It takes a few sessions to understand her magic. She's going to ask you to do things with your body you may not have done before. You might even think you can't do it but you can. Her methods are unique and challenging. I've seen people walk away from her because they wanted the usual downward dog/warrior series yoga. They didn't 'get' it. If you are looking for that kind of yoga, there are plenty of others that can provide that. Olivia and her methods are not for everyone - she's truly a healer and she has a unique gift. She's intuitive, thoughtful, full of knowledge about the body. She's also delightful and full of aloha! She's also great with older folks - she gently guides her students to greater mobility and function - and has truly improved our lives. Our kids learned to swim here and attended the camps during summer break. Although this is not the largest gym on Maui, it has spin classes, yoga, weights, racquetball courts, and a swimming pool. For families with young children, including babies and toddlers, you can pay a nominal fee for child watch while you workout. On some evenings they have child watch for couples that want to go out on a date. Swim classes are on Saturdays, but you can also do private lessons. This is good for younger children that are shy and need extra attention. They have camps during Spring, Winter, and Summer breaks. During summer, the cooking camp is especially popular and fills up the fastest. The swimming pool is heated and is a popular hangout, especially on weekends. The Y offers a lot of options. Although it gets crowded in the morning with seniors and teens in the late afternoon, it is less crowded and cleaner than the other gyms in town.

There's a mix of free weights (dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells) available and machines if you're trying to work specific muscle groups. The facility itself is well-kept, and you'll often see staff making rounds and cleaning. Can you call your dad?" My son communicated to Jessica she could tell him. She replied "you can't use the printed bar code to sign in" Why can't she explain nicely? We have been doing that for more than a year and no one said anything before. My son & I are customers who should be treated properly. So I went to the desk to ask the clerk to check my membership. All of a sudden, Lei cut me off trying to explain the conversation between the Jessica (manager) & my son. WHY? I was already talking to other clerk. Unless we break the rules, please be nice.
