The prices are inflated for sure but not much you can do if you didn't pack what you needed and are in a pinch. The staff members are attentive and friendly. It can get crowded and cramped as the aisles are pretty tight and there's just so much inventory, on the walls, on racks, dangling from above.

I don't have an opinion on former ownership, but Matt has owned this shop for two seasons and it's great. Matt literally wrote the book on "Fishing Nantucket". The shop is well stocked with everything you need for fishing on our island and Matt and the other staff are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't want current ownership to be harmed by sins of the prior folks.
