Planning the funeral of our beloved mother, Lorna Yvonne King, from overseas was not easy -- but your team made every single step feel manageable, respectful, and personal. From all the phone calls you took from abroad, to your willingness to listen, guide, and gently support us, you made us feel like more than clients -- you made us feel like family. To Mr. Donzell Hennigan -- your leadership, compassion, and incredible attention to detail turned a difficult day into something beautiful. You brought calm where there was grief, and excellence where there could have been overwhelm. Your heart made all the difference. To Veronica -- thank you for your warmth, your patience, and the many calls and messages you responded to with kindness. You were a key part of making things run smoothly, and your presence truly mattered. And to every member of your team -- from those we met to those behind the scenes -- thank you for your grace, your coordination, your care with every flower, every arrangement, every movement. The service was one of a kind, and it was everything we hoped it would be for our mum. Thank you for honouring her. Thank you for holding us. Thank you for doing your work with such beautiful professionalism. With endless gratitude, Michael, Jennifer, Barbara, Miajazz, Denzel and the King Family

Sam coordinated everything -- the visitation, the funeral service, and full military honors -- all within a very short timeframe. What he pulled together was nothing short of remarkable. Every detail was handled with precision and care, and he never made us feel rushed or like we were just another family on his schedule. He was present, compassionate, and completely reliable every step of the way. The military honors were especially meaningful to our family, and knowing that Sam took the time to ensure that tribute was arranged properly meant the world to us. Our dad deserved that recognition, and Sam made sure he got it. If you're looking for a funeral director who genuinely cares -- not just about logistics, but about the people behind them -- Sam is that person. We are so grateful for everything he did for our family during this time. Crowell Brothers is lucky to have him.

My son died unexpectedly Thursday and I spoke with the "funeral director" that evening and told him that he would be ready to be picked up after 12 pm Friday. The funeral home outsourced that and they Deere not able to pick him up. I asked them to call me Monday and let me know he had been picked up so we can plan the service and internment. Over the weekend I reiterated the hope that we would receive information as to when he might be ready so we could move forward. Monday morning I received an email saying he was scheduled to be picked up and they would notify me when they had him. I contacted them at 4 pm and called them at 4:45 and was told "I had you on my list of things to do before I went home." He then looked for the first time and confirmed that my son had indeed arrived at 2 pm. And now he could not give me a date when he would be ready because they needed to pull together documents for my signature before they can schedule anything. He could not even give me a timeframe Having to deal with such incompetence during our time of grief is sickening. So do yourself a favor and find a more professional funeral home during your time of need

Ms. Gosa handled all arrangements with us. She also prepared my mother's body and our Mom looked absolutely beautiful. Everyone commented on how lovely our Mother appeared. We had a perfect viewing at the funeral home. This funeral home is located in a beautiful, park-like location, which was very nice for the viewing. They handled the transfer to the church and then to the National Cemetery. Note that if you are burying a military person they have very nice service plaques for each service that can be put at the interior top of the coffin. Ms. Gosa understood our financial needs and did not try to "up-sell" anything at all. Of note, they did not try to sell us a "procession" that every other funeral home said was required and at over $1000, too. The other funeral homes we evaluated cost at least double our end cost at Turner's. Definitely consider A.J. Turner's for your loved one's last care. They were spectacular for our family.

You would think as long as they have been in business they would have been more warm, thoughtful and explanatory of the process. I didn't even read the reviews before we selected them and I normally do but under the circumstances I just agreed to use them. It's too bad they seem a little put off ish and not too sympathetic

During the consultation, he fell asleep!!! I am 100% disappointed with the treatment my family received. We were told the cremation remains of our loved one would be ready for pick up on Monday (the following week after the initial meeting). My fiancée and his mother both asked if everything was ready, including the urn, and administrative assistant verified everything was in order and our loved one was ready to be picked up. When we arrived, again we were treated very coldly. My fiancées mother asked again if everything was in the box that was given to us. Junior said it was. So imagine our shock when we got home to find we were not provided with the urn, but just the plastic box with our loved one's ashes!! I called and spoke with the administrative assistant and Junior and I was told "I was shocked to see you all come in to collect the remains of our loved one." I said you, (Junior) told us everything would be ready for pick up on Monday (the following week after the initial meeting). Also I was told that the urn we ordered should "be in any day." Horrible service. I've been to several/involved with funerals but never have been treated so coldly. I do not recommend this funeral company.
