It is was very difficult to find the actual physical addresses of the CCSD due to this mistake. I am feeling Optimistic about the direction that the Clark County School District is taking. With this new Superintendent in place, Jhone Ebert; a former teacher. I really like her overall stance. I've seen her on the local news. I've gotten the email messages; there was a Going Back To School guide, as well as various Back To School Fairs, located at the major malls. Jhone Ebert has such positive messages for us parents in Clark County. There is a new energy at the Clark County School District. In her "Welcome Back" message the Superintendent announced that all CCSD students would be getting free Breakfast and free Lunch.

All my little cousin talks about is about motivated mustangs and the different clubs to join. He also tell me about all the sports divisions they provide. Every time that I pick him up from school, he talks about what he learns. Yeah they are kinda learning things that could maybe be put off a year, but it's good because it's beneficial for their learning and if they're good at hard stuff now, they'll be a pro at it later. That's what I think the plan is here at Mater Academy Mountain Vista. The teachers are also very understanding and cooperative including coaches. Especially Ms. Shelton (2022) I believe she's the volleyball coach, and I hear she does a lot more than that. She's the music teacher, sports manager, elementary student council president. It's so many things that these teachers do to show they are committed into their job and they're willing to take the time to work with students and help them be the best they can be. Mrs. Carbajah (2022) is a wonderful lady and she makes this school great ! From what I hear she's been here at this school since the beginning and has helped it improve over the years. This shows even more how committed all the staff of Mater Academy is. I also love how they have socials to keep families posted on the daily of what going on. This school is just truly amazing and honestly I wish I went here as a kid.

My son transitioned to NVLA several years ago and really enjoyed all of the opportunities that NVLA had to offer. There are college credit classes that NVLA provides, and just a wide range of classes that you can enroll in that is not necessarily offered at other high schools in the Las Vegas area. All of the learning is web-based and online. Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD's physical location is off of the 95S/Flamingo exit. There are plenty of parking spaces available. We typically come down to the building for either exams, IDs, or picture days! If you're looking into high schools in Las Vegas, I'd recommend evaluating Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD. The courses that it offers, and the flexibility is great!

Or even have a little compassion. If you hate your job get another one. Don't work with children. I dropped off supplies for my daughter's birthday celebration and they acted like it's such a hassle to call the teacher up to grab it. The Safekey "teacher" is running a military camp. Screams at the children and if they so much as look at one another during reading time (which is half the morning, who wants to read all morning before class??) she will embarrass your student by yelling at them. The ONLY saving grace about this school is Mrs. Ayala. Thankfully my daughter has a few short months left at this school and we're out. If you have options, send your kids somewhere else.

They get out at 3:26 and if you are not there in 5 minutes they will take your child to the office which they hate to deal with them will call you before 4:00 and speak to you crazy like you abandoning your child there they are so unorganized from the office to the class room it's upsetting they don't provide buses for kids here my son is not happy here at all!!!!

There has been multiple complaints about this kid but there have been no consequences. My son was supposed to be tested so he can receive the resources that he needs and nothing has been scheduled even though I turned in the paperwork from his doctor on the first day of school.
