Ms. Tina is serious about running an amazing and safe school. No matter what the issue may be, we as parents are all informed as soon as she is. Ms. Jessica is her current teacher and I believe she has amazing patience and has taught my daughter so much. She is kind and works with each and every one of her kids to make sure they are happy and learning. I am always so grateful for morning drop offs (my little one doesn't always make it easy when i need to go) and when we get home, she shows me all that she has learned for that day. The other teacher I want to mention is Ms. Becca- she's pretty much my rock haha. She was one of the teachers that has been around my daughter the longest (or so it seems to me). She is able to match the tone of whatever mood mine is in and able to work with her. If she's having a bad day, Ms. Becca seems to always turn it around. Our son is 14 and has been struggling with fitting into the box of standard schooling for the last few years and he had started to become down and frustrated with everything. He is an artist and that started reflecting in his drawings as well. After the visit he was still unsure but we knew this was the right school for him. After the first 2 weeks we started noticing changes at home. He became happier and this reflected not only in his demeanor but also in his artwork. When we got his school pictures back HE WAS SMILING!! He hasn't smiled in a school picture for at least 3 years. Watching him become more comfortable with himself and who he is since we started has been an amazing experience. Thank you to all of you that he comes into contact with on a daily basis. Remember, my child is not even four years old. After this incident, she began arranging her toys and yelling at them, saying things like "Stop! Stop!" This behavior was very unusual for her and raised concerns. I reached out to other parents, and some of them said their children had made similar remarks about the same teacher. I requested a meeting with the preschool director and the teacher. During the meeting, the teacher denied everything, saying my daughter is one of the best students and she would never do such a thing. I calmly repeated the same words the director had used in our first meeting: "We need to trust children -- they are not manipulative." That very day, I withdrew my daughter from the school. To all parents reading this: trust your instincts and your kids.

The kids all know one another, they know each other's families, and the parents have built friendships and a support system that extends well beyond the classroom. It truly feels like a village raising our children together, and that's something incredibly special. What's funny is that when I first toured the school in 2022 while looking for childcare for my daughter as a baby, I almost didn't choose it. I thought the infant classroom was too small and assumed a bigger facility would be better. We ended up enrolling somewhere else first. Looking back, I couldn't have been more wrong. After experiencing a much larger childcare center, we realized that bigger didn't mean better. There was less individualized attention, more accidents, and less oversight. From our very first tour with Ms. Brenda, we knew this school checked all the boxes we were looking for. She was reading words at just 3 years old, and the nurturing, structured environment helped her grow in so many ways. Any concerns we had during preschool were addressed promptly, and we always felt confident she was in great hands. However, our experience changed significantly once she transitioned into kindergarten. While the curriculum remains strong and academically focused, the environment felt much more rigid and less joyful. It is very one size fits all. We absolutely value education, but we also want our child to enjoy being a kid--through fun, creativity, and play. Another challenge has been the limited communication. Most interaction is restricted to quick exchanges at drop-off or pick-up, and calls are typically returned when the staff is available. There's little feedback unless you personally call and ask, so it's hard to know how your child is progressing until report cards are sent out. At times, important day-to-day situations involving our daughter weren't communicated to us. Lastly, we didn't always feel the school environment, particularly the front office, was the most welcoming. On a few occasions, I had to initiate conversations after being overlooked which left us feeling more like a number than part of a school community.
