Love this place!! Great music (not too loud either, which is nice so you can talk to people and also focus on your game), beautiful and well-maintained pool tables, beer that doesn't break the bank. It's such a fun and reasonably priced date night or double date night!!!

My boyfriend and I love this place. I myself have been coming here on and off for about 3-4 years. My boyfriend I just started bringing to the location, and now I feel like we will be coming here on a weekly basi

Great place to play pool! Only beer no hard liquor. That's okay tho. This is a pool hall. Lots of tables. All crowns with 7ft diamonds. Love playing here! Anna vik and nielli are great!!

Bar staff is total butt. Very rude and will veto your jukebox songs, then be crappy about it the rest of the night.

Just has beat up tables. The cushions have no action. If you're looking for good tables don't go here.

However, after spending a full night there hanging out, having fun, I see why she wanted to show me this place. Everything between the vibe, to the food, to the drinks, to the friendly people there; made it an amazing experience from start to finish. The portion size here are huge so we were able to share everything! We got a folded sandwich the turkey hamwich, their TBR burger, spicy turkey n' bacon melt, and their wings Amy's way, and wow. Everything was cooked too perfection, extremely flavorful and it came out very fast. Amazing service. After dinner, we stayed because the DJ was playing absolute bangers!!!!! The bar staff all were so kind and friendly. I never felt more welcome from staff like that before. They have this super cool menu of cocktails that are inspired by the pool balls numbers! I was able to tried them all, and the number 5 ball Whiskey Sour is my personal favorite! A close second is their Break, Run, Repeat cocktail! Definitely give those a try. We got to play both pool and darts. Their tables are in such nice condition, well taking care of and they are all diamond tables. The break room gave me a amazing night out with my friends. I never been to a place like this before. I can't think of one negative thing to say, my visit here was pure fun. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town, and hoping OC gets a place like this soon.

My first time visiting The Break Room, and I'm sure I'll be back. This is a large,…read morenicely-maintained pool room with assorted other games available (darts and such), a great digital jukebox system, and plenty of TV's playing sports. The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. Definitely stop in and give them a whirl.

First off, there's only street parking so you have to find a park down a side street if you can't get lucky around the establishment. I fortunately, found a park around the corner, while our friends had to park on the street behind Ventura. Ones we arrived, we see nothing but a sea of pool tables and the place is packed. Music playing, TV's on and everyone was having a good time. Everyone seemed really young like it was a college hangout but the kids were pretty cool. Our wait time was 45 mins but it seemed to go by pretty quickly since we ordered a few beers and seltzers and while hanging out. I did see a menu with food but I think they only serve food until 7p. Anyway, this is a cool spot to come hangout and shoot pool. The place seemed pretty safe with no knuckle heads that night. Oh one last thing, there was a line for the girls bathroom because I think there is only one stall in there. The guys bathroom had a stall and a urinal so there wasn't really a line. Plan to get here maybe 5 min earlier than planned because it'll take some time to find parking. After parking, the experience goes uphill. There are lots of tables available with plenty of space in between. I mean, you'll need common etiquette, but besides that, there are lots of tables for you to choose from. The employees are very nice about setting you up and lighting up the table that you want. They are very accommodating and flexible. There are leagues here as well if you think about making a commitment. Cost seemed appropriate for the quality of the equipment. It was about $20 an hour for a party of 2. So if you split it with a friend, that's about $20 for 2 hours of playtime. The table I used and the spare sticks available seemed to be in good condition. They also serve beer and have sports games along the edges of the shop. There are also stools and small tables available. If you feel like taking a break or not even playing pool at all, it seems like a good place to hang, catch up or watch some sports.
