their food is very good! It can be a little expensive but it is a bowling alley. They have a big pretzel with a nacho cheese sauce and it is very good and it taste like a homemade pretzel. Doing a review on a bowling alley has so many different amenities pertaining to this type of business I'm gonna do this review a little bit different based on the area that I was seated and the location which was in their bar in the middle of the bowling alley. As I entered into the bowling alley, it'd be my first time there I wasn't sure exactly where the bar was located so I came in through the front entrance, which was the main entrance. And as I walked in the first thing that I saw to the left side was a facility called rock 'n' roll pizza so apparently this is the food that this bowling alley has to offer, which is all basically bar food and with the exception of making pizzas. I'm a real stickler when it comes to cleaning this this establishment rock 'n' roll pizza really needs some really deep cleaning especially everywhere throughout that front kitchen area where it's visible for everyone to see at that walks by. And also the appearance of the employee should all maintain a certain type of uniform and not all wearing different pieces of garment. All employees with no exceptions should all be wearing hair, nets, and or hats to cover their hair particles from falling into any of food preparation none of the employees whatsoever we're wearing any hat, nets or hats. This was a big concern for me. Food handling, and food safety is very imperative.. Not sure who the manager was at this location no name tags on the employee so really couldn't identify who they were. There was two female females and a male the mail was making pizza.. So bottom line the review is basically on the rock 'n' roll pizza bar area. It really needs to look be looked at. I will be there again in amend this review for the whole bowling alley. read more

Went to see one of our favorite bands playing there. Turnout was only 30 ppl apparently due to a competing venue that had a popular local band. There was ample room for dancing and enough seating for the small crowd and perhaps seats for 20 more. I assume they allow people to stand as there was space to hold more. We didn't order food, but the pizza looked ok albeit nothing special. A waitress came by our table twice in three hours. We mostly had to go to the bar to order drinks. On a busier night, the service may have been more consistent. The staff seemed friendly and the crowd this night was fun and middle-aged. My big complaint is the music volume. I used two different phones that measured a sound pressure level (SPL) in the 108-112 dB (c-weighted) range. That is unhealthy and unneeded for such a small venue. I wore hearing protection and my ears are still ringing the next day. If I go again, I will bring my type 1 calibrated sound level meter and ear plugs with greater isolation (e.g. foamies). The operator of the sound system thinks he is running an arena concert. The crowd was in their 50s-60s for this night's band so that kind of volume was totally uncalled for. read more

I am basing this review on customer service about trying to reserve a day and time for a child's party. I had sent two emails about requesting info. I never received anything back so I went on Friday 7/17 at 12pm to speak to someone, the girl I spoke to told me that there was no one available to help me because they had a large group arriving shortly and needed to get ready for that. She said she'll have someone call me in an hour. I wasn't called until 4pm and emailed with the info I needed. I call the next day 7/18 and I am told that no one is there to confirm, she takes all my info down and I call today 7/21 at 3:30pm but nobody answers. Needless to say I will not be hosting my child's party here and will look somewhere else. read more

Food: I noticed that this bowling alley has a pretty busy grill. They offer things like pizza and fries and sodas and other drinks and other snacks. Things here don't seem to be too terribly overpriced. I noticed a lot of kids enjoyed ordering these super huge large slices of pizza. They are big like Costco size. I did not see anyone with a whole pizza so I couldn't tell you how big those were but nice to know that they are offered and on the menu. Arcade: my family and I are doing my visit decided to get a little crazy in the arcade. One thing that kind of bugged me was that when we bought a playing card, which you will use to pay for your playtime, The touchscreen, computerized vending machine sort of thing does not tell you how many credits you are getting for the money that you were paying. Some of the most popular games included Halo, Jurassic Park, skee ball, and air hockey. I know I had fun playing air hockey for a while. I love Halo too, but there was quite a line of kids waiting to play. Be careful when you swipe and definitely pay attention. There were a couple of times that we swiped. Our players card and the credits were deducted from the card, but the opportunity to actually play the game was not available. The screen on the game said that there was an error. Luckily, I was able to go to the desk and alert them of this. They had somebody take a look at the game, but also they were able to restore the credits that I had lost. So that was really nice of them. I was really worried that instead, they would've told me that because these games run on that type of system that is linked to that other machine that doles out the cards that there wasn't anything that they could do. Bowling: this is not like a lucky strike, or Bolero even. It is not the super fancy looking, very showy type of bowling alley. These lanes are actually pretty well maintained. Their approach is kept clean. Their machines and ball returns seem to be all in good repair. Their weekend rates are primarily the same as at most other bowling alleys. If you are bowling with a good size group of people, I really prefer to bowl and pay per game rather than hourly. But then again, that often can be decided by how serious the Bowler. Serious bowlers can ball for an hour or two and get a lot of games out of that time. So sometimes that is more cost-effective. However, if it is a social gathering, and you have kids and adults, bowling, of all different levels of competitiveness and ability and drunkenness, you might want to pay per game. That way, if you take longer than the hour to both two or three games, you are not paying the exorbitant rates that you would, if you were paying by the hour. I believe I saw the rate being $60 per hour. But then again, I may have read that wrong. I'm not entirely sure. I did not coordinate our group bowling session. Live music: although it was not a particular type of genre of music that I can say that I would seek out, they did offer and have live music. I thought that was really cool. In order to access that particular portion of the bowling alley, you would enter through the patio. I don't believe that viewing area was a kid friendly space at all. There is a large parking lot here. There are several other businesses in this complex as well. I did not look to see if they have a players pro shop, but I can only assume that they do. This really seemed like a while, taking care of business and oiled machine. All of the workers that I came across, were very serious and focused on the job that they were doing, but also very friendly and accommodating. read more

Bowling has become a new/favorite hobby this year and my husband and I go to Harley's to bowl 2-3 times a week. The prices are fair, they maintain the lanes well and the staff are all super friendly. We are planning to join at least one league and am so happy about how many options there are. Aside from bowling, the snack bar offers some of the best French fries, the Rock n Roll pizza is really good and the bartenders serve up some great (and fairly cheap) drinks. Horrible and angering experience from the front desk on Thursday, 5/7/2026 at 10 PM, from the woman with the long dark hair working there(only one)whom was extremely hostile, rude, not accommodating and lacked basic customer service demeanor. Didn't get a receipt either. Been coming to this alley for well over 10 years. One of the biggest reasons is the amount of lanes available and the quality of the lanes compared to the sister alley on Los Angeles street. There was well over 20 lanes available with a handful of people bowling at lanes 1&2 already. We prefer to do league style(which always seems to be a problem doing here now with this woman whom works there) and we do so with two lanes. Not only were we denied having two lanes as we normally always get but over half the alley was available and she insisted very rudely that those lanes were all off limits(yet, if it were to become full, would she deny all new customers from booking any of those 20 available lanes? Or make people wait when the alley has 40?) and she wasn't accommodating nor polite and essentially take it or leave and put us on one lane in an extremely crowded section in which we preferred not to be. We pay money weekly and yet, this is the first time we opted to get a refund and leave instead. In was an inhospitable environment she fostered, we did not feel welcomed, listened to nor did they seemingly give a damn whether we stayed or left or any preferences. Did nothing of any basic customer service decorum. If this is how it's going to be every week now we go there on Thursday with that extremely rude woman or any of the workers there, then after all these years, we will decide not to patronize Harley's and we often have 3-4 people bowling 5 games weekly. Disheartening and angering experience tonight that left a bitter taste and she or any worker who behaves in such a manner should not be working there or representing Harley's bowling lest that's how Harley's treats bowlers who care about bowling with their own equipment and rather not have our business. And we got there early so while waiting for our other 2 bowlers to arrive we thought we'd bowl 1 game each...Dang they charge $8 per game per person?? We live in Ventura now so we bowl at Buena Lanes, great lanes and a heck of a lot cheaper!! And! So frustrating!! Harley's! 10 minutes before our 90 minutes were up we were shut down! We have gone here for years. Its been a great place to have get together and birthday parties as well as just to hang out. The outside was repainted and there is lots of parking. Inside there is Rock and Roll pizza to buy as well as drinks. There is a elevator for a wheelchair and well as bowling assistant for kids and disabled people for free. There prices are fair and there are times for fun with loud music and then normal bowling as well. There shoes are well taken care of and there are ball for all ages and stages.
