Five stars! Great drinks on happy hour, friendly bartenders, and exactly the laid-back, no-frills atmosphere you want from a dive bar. The prices were reasonable, the music was good from the jukebox, and the growing crowd for bingo night made the place feel welcoming. Definitely coming back with my friends!

I come to Tipsy Goat every Tuesday for trivia night and we have so much fun. It's very well organized. The people are great. I've been doing it since June and got on a team with some great people. Kylee, the host is super good at conducting it and our favorite waitress Brooke is there always serving us awesome drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone there is super sweet and the place is really fun.![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is tasty too!

Pretty good bar food and drinks, the servers were very nice but the host for our company party was extremely rude and yelled at multiple from the party when they went inside to use the restroom.

    Trivia- Name that song!

Bingo Night is so much fun! We met up with some friends at Tipsy for Bingo Night on Thursday at 6:30PM. The host Kylee and Danika do such a great job hosting the game! They kept it very interactive and exciting! All the staff are super friendly! Shout out to our servers Parker and Jonathan. Make sure to come before 7 PM for their delicious Happy Hour! Grab a drink and play some games. The prizes are so cute! My husband and I won some personalized tumblers to go with our free IPA that we won too lol! Kylee and Danika are so sweet. It felt like they kept the Bingo game going so everyone win a little something which is so kind of them. It is not just Bingo, but we played trivia for more chances of winning something! We will be back every Thursday!

    Lame hidden entrance.

Wow Andy you sure have a lot to say which is all false the owners and management work extremely hard in all aspects of our business sounds like your upset we cancelled trivia? All of your accusations are false and not accurate we sell hundreds of thousands of these dishes you've mentioned all made in house and fresh with rave reviews and what's funny most people will look at your outrageous post and list and laugh at how inaccurate it is. We obviously cannot help the ranting you have made and the quiz patrons feel free to not come back if you are going to falsely slander our business they way you have. Very disappointed in the amount of false statements you've made but that what Yelp is a platform for people to hide behind rather than calling an owner or manager to discuss true facts. Good luck in your future endeavors at better restaurants we obviously aren't the place for you. so kim... exactly what did I say that wasnt true? that one of my teamates won't come anymore because your ladies room is not up to cleanliness standards? that your food is wildly inconsistent? that your managers have told me that ownership doesn't give a crap about quality? Hate to break it to you but no one in the room of 60+ people was disappointed when our quizmaster told us that we wouldn't be having trivia at the crown and anchor anymore. There were even a few cheers! and we didn't miss a single trivia night because he had pre arranged to switch our wednesday night trivia to a different restaurant that although it is an even further drive for me and my team, the food is much better, completely consistent and ownership of the restaurant takes pride in the product they put out. We have been asking our quizmaster for years to find an alternative to the crown and anchor.... We go to wednesday night trivia because we love the quality of the quiz and we suffer through your food as a sort of "necessary evil" and you can accuse me of not approaching you personally when there was a problem with a meal but the fact of the matter is that I have approached your managers several times with issues (like when the iced tea had no flavor or the fries tasted like they were cooked in filthy oil or the chili breadbowl was stale) and those same managers (multiple) said that you weren't there and you didn't really care about the product the crown and anchor put out. you could have just apologized for my negative experience but instead you accused me of lying and slander. And just because you manage to stay in business doesn't mean that you are putting out good/consistent product.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

One thing I really appreciated was how welcoming the experience was from the moment we walked in. They have menus available near the entrance, and the host asked if it was our first time or if we had visited before. I thought that was a great touch because it helps first-time guests feel more comfortable. After that, you order at a kiosk, which I actually enjoyed. It gives you time to look through the menu and decide without feeling rushed while someone is waiting to take your order. The seating options are great. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio is especially beautiful with lots of greenery, making it a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. The indoor dining area can get a little loud, but that's to be expected in a busy restaurant. During our visit, Mo was checking on guests, and he was incredibly kind. Even though you don't have one dedicated server, he stopped by to clear our plates and asked how everything was. I had decided to try something new, and while it just wasn't my personal preference, I really appreciated that he took the time to check in. As a thoughtful gesture, they even gave me a voucher to use on my next visit. I really appreciated Mo's attentiveness and outstanding customer service. That level of hospitality definitely makes me want to come back. One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a little limited during peak hours since the lot is shared with other businesses. That said, the parking lot is large enough that, with a little patience, you can usually find a spot.

I am not writing this as a dig, we love Neighborly, I just more so wanted the incident to be known…read morebecause I believe it exceeded past normal cross contamination that's usually expected in restaurants and hope it won't happen again. My partner and I have been on a Neighborly kick lately and it's been so good consistently. However, today at lunch was the dreaded nightmare for vegetarians and vegans (I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years). We ordered just the regular green beans (in which the ingredients are literally only ginger and garlic oil, NO MEAT in sight) from the Social Monk and as we kept eating all these brown pieces started coming up. I thought maybe some mushrooms or something? But there was enough of it emerging to ask about it and It turned out there were chunks and pieces of beef all throughout the green beans under the top layer (where none was visible) that I had just completely consumed. I REALLY hope I didn't consume any, but I was eating multiple green beans at a time with a fork and I hope my fork didn't pick any of it up. I should have taken a picture because it wasn't just like one little piece, there was a lot of pieces of meat hidden in this pure vegetable dish. Those who don't eat meat don't eat it for a number of reasons, varying from religious beliefs, diet, illness, ethics, and more, so it definitely wasn't a nice surprise they made a vegetarian dish with chunks and bits of beef in it. They offered to make us new green beans but we passed. I was super grossed out and we were finished eating at that point anyways. Accidents happen of course, but when it comes to food, this wasn't just a little cross contamination...it became a vegetarian diet violation in a dish you would never expect meat to be in. Sweet staff though! And usually good food! We will be returning. But I just wanted to voice this because it didn't feel resolved.

The staff also wears gloves when handling food in the kitchen. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & "outdoor" (still inside mall) seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was in this establishment months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal (mall policy). Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive since it is located inside a super fancy smancy mall. Try to park near Macy's for quick access. Food and Drinks: I ordered a classic mojito, egg roll sampler, shrimp scampi, key lime cheesecake, and mango key lime cheesecake. My friend and I received complimentary bread for the table. I'm not a fan of "Brown Bread." It is cocoa powdered, honey, and molasses infused wheat bread with oats on top. I'm not a fan of sweet breads. It's just weird to me. My mojito had some sweetness, tart lime flavors, and herbal minty flavors. 10/10. It's my go to refreshing alcoholic beverage. The egg roll sampler consisted of 4 egg rolls, which includes the avocado, Tex Mex, cheeseburger spring rolls, and chicken taquitos. I enjoyed being able to try the restaurant's signature rolls and taquitos in a single plate. Seriously, this dish offers a delightful fusion of flavors. It's perfect for sharing. For all of the egg rolls, I enjoyed how crunchy they were. I have included my favorite item (#1) to my least favorite item (#4) below. Avocado Egg Rolls: Stuffed with avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro, served with a tangy dipping sauce. #3 Tex Mex Egg Rolls: Filled with spicy chicken, corn, black beans, peppers, onions, and melted cheese. #2 Cheeseburger Spring Rolls: Loaded with ground beef, melted cheese, and grilled onions. #1 Chicken Taquitos: Rolled tortillas stuffed with chicken and spices. #4 For my entrée, I had ordered a shrimp scampi. It features lightly crisped, Parmesan-coated shrimp served with angel hair pasta in a rich, garlicky white wine cream sauce with fresh basil and diced tomatoes. The massive shrimps are butterflied, lightly battered in a Parmesan-flour mixture, and pan-seared until crisp. The sauce consisted of a decadent mix of whole garlic cloves, shallots, white wine, heavy cream, and chicken broth. All of the above was served over a bed of delicate angel hair pasta and finished with fresh basil and diced tomatoes. Perfectly well seasoned, buttery, and garlicy dish. 10/10 would highly recommend. The key lime cheesecake combined the refreshing flavor of key lime pie and the irresistible creaminess of classic cheesecake into two mouthwatering desserts in one. This is beyond delicious! It's perfectly tart, deliciously sweet, lightly tangy, unbelievably rich and creamy, and amazingly luscious. It's brimming with fresh lime flavor, finished with a buttery graham cracker crust, and such a show-stopping dessert! The whipped cream added a nice and airy touch to the cheesecake. 10/10 Mango key lime cheesecake has a vanilla coconut macaroon crust, layers of key lime and mango cheesecake and a mango cream and gelatin topping. I enjoyed the perfect balance of sweet mango and tart, citrusy lime. I found it very refreshing. I'm a sucker for the vanilla coconut macaroon crust here. It added a nice crunch to my dessert. I'm all about the crunch. The whipped cream added a nice and airy touch to the cheesecake. I can see why this is a frequently sought after dessert. 10/10 Staff: Robert was our extremely attentive, friendly, caring, considerate, and helpful server. Our server took our orders and checked in on us in a timely manner until we ordered our main courses. I ordered the Chicken Bellagio. I was so excited to try it until the wait started to become a bit drastic. The guests who arrived after got their meals before us, and we ordered our food before our appetizer arrived. We were offered more bread, but we didn't dine there to get full off of that. When the meals finally arrived, I tried the noodles first, followed by the chicken, then the prosciutto and arugula. I noticed something shiny in my dish, so when I pulled it out, it ended up being a piece of plastic! I put it on my appetizer plate and shrugged it off. Then when I took a bite of the prosciutto, I felt something off-texture. What I pulled out of my mouth was ANOTHER piece of plastic! I kept chewing and something felt even more off... paper? I inspected the prosciutto and saw shiny parts, so when I extracted it, there ended up being 2 pieces of parchment/deli paper! I was in disbelief, but remained positive. I politely informed a server who came to check on her tables and she immediately asked me if I wanted a different dish and a complimentary soup or salad. I admire her ability to resolve my issue! Our server also came to check on us and confirm my new order. 2 gentlemen, who I assume are managers, also came to check up on us. I was told my first meal order would be comped. One offered a cheesecake on the house, but I refused because I already felt bad/embarrassed that my issue brought a lot of attention. These exchanges were a nice touch, but ultimately, it doesn't excuse the fact that the person eating with me already finished his food while I was still waiting for mine. That dining experience alone has already been tarnished. Regardless of these incidents, I still wanted to leave a tip. We paid with a gift card, but I had a feeling that the check would be within the balance... when receiving the check back, there was still an impending balance of around $27. A credit card was given to cover it. When deciding on how much to give, we took a look at the itemized receipt and the item that was supposed to be comped was included in the bill at full price! We had to bring it up to the server before leaving. The balance on the gift card, which wasn't much, ended up being the tip. At this point, nothing can change my mind about wanting to give this place a second chance. I am a hospitality worker myself, and I've been in situations like this where I was the server, but what separates me from this establishment is that I always keep the smallest details in mind when a guest is already having a terrible experience, to avoid any further escalation. I consider them lucky that this happened to me and not to someone else who may not be as forgiving.
