This is such a cute pub, and the food is delish! My family came here before a show at the Fred Kavli Theater, and we absolutely loved it. We shared the chicken pot pie, house salad, and fish and chips, and all were super tasty. Big portions that were easily shared among 3 people, and reasonable prices to boot! I loved the festive Christmas decorations and the red phone booth in the front, too. And coming from LA, definitely loved the ample parking in the huge lot out front! If you're in the area, this pub is absolutely worth checking out. I can't wait to drive there again from LA, which is definitely saying something!

Love this place and the staff! Tasha, Mia and Ashley are so friendly and attentive. The ambiance is super fun and they have the best HH deals! Highly recommend

Walking in we were greeted by the waitress who mentioned we can sit anywhere in the pub or the restaurant. She was polite. We sat in the restaurant and were greeted with on themed pictures/paintings. As an appetizer we ordered the Scottish Egg which was $10.50 for one egg cut into fours. I felt like that was overpriced for how it tasted and how simple it was. The entrees is where it is at. The British Breakfast and Toad N' Hole was flavorful, plentiful, and well seasoned. The bangers in both dish had the right amount of saltiness. The sticky toffee pudding was okay. I think this came down to preference. It had notes of cinnamon, egg, toffee.

That's exactly how I describe my experience at Oak and Iron! You can tell that you're experiencing a work of art and a person's labor of love. Erika was our host and she was phenomenal! I'm definitely looking forward to my next experience at Oak and Iron!

The vibe is industrial and low-lit, like the kind of bar where the walls have stories but won't snitch. Small space, metal-and-concrete aesthetic, but somehow still warm and cozy. Perfect for a date night or a "let me mentally unpack my life over cocktails" hang with my best friend. What keeps me coming back? The bartenders actually listen. I can walk up and give the vaguest description -- "classic but not sweet, strong but not too whiskey-forward, smooth but still gives main character energy" -- and they'll just... create it. They've made me drinks that aren't even on the menu -- Army Navy, Aviation, etc. -- and every single one was spot on. They always manage to find the right drink for me, which is honestly a skill more people should have. The servers are genuinely nice, the liquor selection is solid, and the energy is chill without being pretentious. I've also heard there's a speakeasy hidden in here somewhere, and trust me, one day I'll find it like I'm unlocking a side quest. Definitely one of my favorite bars in Thousand Oaks -- industrial vibes, great people, and bartenders who match drinks to my personality better than most men can.

They accommodated our group of 12, although they did give us an estimate or 25 mins and it became an hour! There was plenty of staff taking care of us and food and drinks came out in a quick manner. The dirty sodas were good and very sweet. We had the Pepsi (strawberry) one and the Diet Coke one. Made a couple of us realize we are dirty soda fans. Drinks refills were appreciated. We sat separately, 4 or us were at the couch and it was dirty with leftover food scraps, drink markings on the table, and lots of dog fur. It was hard to eat our food in that area. For appetizers we had: - deviled eggs - came with 5 halves and were just meh - poke nachos - onion rings - massive for 5 ppl but pretty standard Entrees are slightly small but it matches the price. Peggy's crispy chicken sandwich was crispy but kinda tasteless. The truffle fries came with lots of cheese and were good. The Wagyu burger was good. Splitting the check on the machine was so smooth. You can do as many cards and separate by item, which was helpful for a large group.
