After seeing countless great reviews about Jim's and factoring in that it was relatively close to me, I selected them to do the repair and I was super glad that I did. The countless 5star reviews were very well deserved as they could not have been better to work with and did an amazing job getting my car back to 'good as new'. They went above and beyond by not only doing an amazing job on the repairs, but keeping me in the loop every step of the way. They even went as far as to advocate for me in convincing the insurance company that the junkyard parts they wanted him to use were not good enough and got them to approve new ones instead. That is what I call customer service! Even if you are not local, these guys are the real deal and worth going g out of your way to use them. I sincerely hope I do not need a body shop anytime soon, but, if I do, this is surely where I am going! Thank you Jim's for taking such good care of me and my vehicle!!!! To make matters worse, my back/brake lights and blinkers weren't working. I have a go-to mechanic whom I trust with my life and my car's life. I have. never gone to anyone else to service my car. I would fly my car to him, wherever he may be...however, this time around, I decided to try this place, because this place had sooner availability, and I had to work. I came here SOLELY on previous yelp reviews and a prayer. Service: The man who owns this business, is Lloyd. He was the one who worked on my vehicle. I told him I prefer to pay out of pocket, if the price was fair. The price was fair. I thanked him and God for practically saving my hide. He communicated every step. He also allowed me to pay half, upfront, so that he could order my parts, so instead of having my car sit at his shop, unnecessarily, while we wait for my car parts, I was able to have my vehicle for an additional week, (while parts was being ordered). Total days in shop: 4 1/2. Quality: Lloyd purchased the new bumper, and placed it on my vehicle. It was like my vehicle never had a scratch. Perfect replacement! Then he figured out why my lights were no longer working. He immediately ordered the part and replaced it. I was expecting additional hundreds of dollars, added to my bill, but he kept the price for the parts and labor very fair. He even showed the damaged on my previous wire harness. Explained everything to me. Very knowledgable and does excellent body work. Value: I shared my quote with four other people. All were expecting that my damages would cost me thousands of dollars to fix. I am grateful for Lloyd's fair prices. Conclusion: God forbid I make a silly mistake like this again with my car, but in the event that I did hit something again, I will be coming back here. No need to look elsewhere. Something urgent came up and I requested if 3 days were possible to complete it. He said he'd do his best. It was noticed that the door alignment was off due to the passenger door had a new skin put on it to correct the body damage as a result of the incident. Chris the owner had his mechanic take the car in an attempt to rectify the situation. 10 minutes later the car was returned with an adjustment being made after a week it was noticed that there was possible movement . A call to chris led to an appointment being made 2 weeks hence at 11:00 am where the situation would be addressed and a check for $100.00 would be issued to cover the additional detailers fee of 4 weeks prior at approx 10;00 am on the 16th of april a message was received that the mechanic who was suppose to readjust the door had called out sick. with that I showed up at 11;00 am to pick up the check that had taken approx 3 weeks to issue due to the accountant not being in attendance. I then told Chris the I would not be returning the vehicle for any adjustments or claims about their Lifetime warranty on repairs.
