We typically love Bills Best, but the last 3 visits have not met our expectations. I do appreciate that they are family friendly, but it has gotten out of hand. This place has become a gathering point for parents to bring their kids and let them loose while they drink. I'm trying to have a conversation with my husband and there are kids running around and parents screaming at them around us. This no longer feels like the right place for us. read more

Honestly this place isn't one of my favorites but I appreciate the effort they put in to their brews, hence the four star rating. I just find most of their beer is not to my taste style wise. That being said, I think most people will find a beer they like here and it's nice to have a legit brewery in the Glenside area. Their food is also quite good, and I enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich. The beer is good. Nice amount of parking available. I'm not a fan of the barstools. I like when I can put my foot on the bar ledge. I'm not sure why some bars don't have that. read more

This brewery is a hidden gem. It's small but it offers big flavors. I had the winter ale, two IPAs and a DIPA. All of them were delicious. The staff are friendly and engaging. And on Sundays, hot dogs are only $1. I'm going back to this place. read more

This place has a great ambiance! We stopped in after looking for new breweries in the area to try out on a cold Saturday afternoon and this place was a great stop! There are string lights inside when you walk in which I personally have a thing for so I had a feeling we were going to have a good experience. We each tried flights (I leaned more toward the visiting brews since they were a bit more experimental and my husband went with the home brewed IPAs. They also had a great pulled pork and hot dogs! Really happy to have this place in Glenside! Been here a couple times and tried most of their beers and have been really surprised at the quality all across the board for a newer brewery. Everything is really flavorful and well thought out. In addition to having really good beers, it is also a really pleasant place to be. All of the bartenders really go above and beyond and never seem like they are too busy to be pleasant (eve know they probably are too busy). We have also gone with kids and no one bats an eye, which is a huge plus. A great place to get a beer both with with family or with friends. Cant ask for much more than that. (Also we only use their BBQ sauces at our house and guests always give them rave reviews...so you should def buy a bottle while your there) read more

This is our new go-to brewery. Great atmosphere and really great beer. I typically find that when new breweries open it takes about a year for them to work out the kinks in carbonation, flavor, body, etc. That is definitely not the case here - the beer tastes mature and really well balanced. On top of that there is a super family friendly atmosphere that makes us enjoy bringing our toddler. The owners are very welcoming and attentive. One star off for the food offerings. The food they have is actually very good, but understandably limited given the scale of the place. It's pretty much limited to pulled pork sandwiches with their homemade BBQ sauce (which is delicious), Mac and cheese, and some chips and stuff. It's all fine, but I'd honestly rather they not have food and welcome in outside take out since there are so many top notch take out places in the area. Or maybe even do a little of both where if you want to grab something you can, but you can also order out if you'd rather. It's just a little limited now. We just love this little place. The people are so kind and friendly, especially with the mother and son duo it feels like family. The ambience inside (during non-Covid "normal times") is so cozy and laid back, and there are a few tables outside for a warm day. The beer is good and they have cocktail specials too. There isn't a full food menu but if you're looking for something with no frills, just good and affordable, it's such a great option. Stopped in to Bill's Best today with my wife and son, and had a great experience! The beers were great and the food was on point also! The atmosphere was very relaxed and the place wasn't trying too hard to be cool like some other local craft breweries. It is a family friendly environment which is great for me and my young son. My wife and I split a flight and then each got a full beer and my son had the Mac and cheese with pulled pork on top (only $8). I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

LOVE this addition to Glenside. There aren't many breweries in the area. The beer is good and I love how there are new additions every week, making me want to go back. The menu is small with only a pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese to choose from, and I think the food prices are a little high. I like breweries where you are able to bring your own food in or order delivery and I think this should be an option with such a limited menu. read more

Meh. We got two flights so tried the full selection. The Pax Ave. Pale Ale was pretty decent and the man liked their Vineyard (saison with wine grapes) but that was about it. The pork sandwich was tasty which came from a crock pot since there's no kitchen. While I appreciated they had some food, for a beer place you gotta have things like fries or tots or at least a bigger selection of chips! One other note, the barstools are so crazy uncomfortable you'll not want to stay very long. read more
