I recently visited this shop and was impressed right away by the size, layout, and wide variety of…read moreproducts available. They have a great selection and plenty to browse through, which makes the experience enjoyable for collectors of all levels. However, I was a little disappointed that I didn't see any single card boxes to dig through--only sealed blaster and hobby boxes behind the counter. It's possible I missed them, but from what I could tell, singles weren't readily available. The biggest concern for me was the pricing. As a newer collector, I was already a bit nervous about choosing the right boxes, and seeing some items marked significantly higher than retail made me hesitant to buy. For example, the most recent Topps NBA Holiday Box was priced at $60, even though we had just purchased the same box at GameStop for $35 and it's still widely available at that price. Since it doesn't seem to be a rare or hard-to-find product, the markup felt a little excessive. On the positive side, the customer service was genuinely great. The employee who helped us took the time to talk with us and seemed truly willing to assist with anything we needed. That part of the experience definitely stood out in a good way. Overall, while I appreciated the variety and the friendly service, the pricing made me hesitant to spend money during this visit. I may do a bit more research and give the shop another try in the future, but based on this first impression, I wasn't fully comfortable making a purchase yet.

Had to do a double take in pulling up this business to post a review…read more I've known this store since it opened in 1991 when it was located on Lawton Street in San Francisco. Several years later, he moved to downtown Novato which is the last location that I visited. A few years ago and after the world changed in March 2020, he found a larger space here and made the move. He carries a full variety of sports cards and memorabilia as well as hosting games on weekends for Magic and Pokemon fans. He also carries card collecting supplies such as sheets, binders, and cases to frame jerseys. I've been fortunate that we are also casual friends so when I am looking for something, he will look for it or source me to where I can get it. With the recent Giants' outfielder from Asia doing a signing event then cancelling it last month, I asked him to help me get two autographed baseballs, one for a friend and the other for me. He's helped me frame jerseys and I've bought cardholders, sheets, and random sports items to give as gifts for friends. I hope to visit their store, likely when I make a road trip to the North Bay. Ask for founding partner John or his fellow owner Peter.

Today my daughter and I went in for her to pick out a birthday gift for herself. The young woman at the register, Jupiter, was very rude to us. My daughter chose a pack of Lorcana cards and I was looking at the earrings, but Jupiter was huffing and puffing impatiently since she had rung up the cards and wanted to finish the transaction. I asked her a question about the earrings that were on the counter and she snapped that she didn't know and that I should just look at them to figure it out. As i kept looking at them for less than 15 seconds, she slammed her hand on the counter and abruptly turned around to do something else. When I picked out the earrings to buy, she snapped, "Is that it now?" I asked for her name which she barked it at me while asking my name in the same confrontational way. I maintained being friendly to her, mainly to spare my daughter, (she's a sensitive adult with special needs.) As we walked out, Jupiter tried to cover her tracks by thanking us and wishing my daughter a happy birthday, but the damage was done. My daughter said she doesn't want to go back in there if Jupiter is there. This isn't the first time the Staff has been rude, and while we've also been greeted by friendly workers, the negative treatment has happened often enough that it's clear that half of the Staff needs to take a refresher course in basic customer service.

My 4-year-old is obsessed with anything with 4 wheels, so getting back into RC with him has been such a blast. We came out to get my 2WD buggy on their awesome indoor carpet track and let my son check everything out. The whole experience was great. The track is fantastic, and the shop had such a welcoming vibe. One of the highlights was their indoor rock crawling area. We had been wanting to try crawling, and Will was kind enough to loan us a crawler to test out. Needless to say... we ended up leaving with one! Overall, we had an awesome time. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to come back for more track time and check out some of the upcoming events. Be sure to support your local hobby shop!

His honesty made us feel comfortable about what we needed to purchase and was very welcoming to the RC community, by welcoming us back to tryout the facility they have there, which was pretty dope. As a Noob, it could be very intimidating walking into a store full of equipment and not knowing what to get. My wife and I felt none of that, as we were helped with great service and left knowing that I'll be coming back for parts later. The indoor track and "crawl park" (if that's what it's called), was very impressive and the atmosphere was welcoming along with the patrons that were there. Spend your money here if you're looking for great knowledge & service as well as a place to run your RC.
