The particular older lady i delt with was not honest with our transaction. She lied to me about the return policy (before I read it at the bottom of the receipt: which states electrical items) & she lied about the restocking fee (which the sign states "on ordered items). All i purchased was replacement filters, they weren't ordered and they werent the right size, i returned them the next morning. She charged me a $60.00 restocking fee and I'm the one who sat the grids back by the wall, where they were displayed at time of purchase. Lastly the place is highway robbery at its finest. Will never ever go to this place again. Stopped in with pictures of how my pool was & Amy who I think should be fired, and not be in retail at all. She sold me items that didn't work and I told her I was just going to drain the pool and refill it. She said "No" just buy this $100 worth of shit that doesn't work and come back. Well I did and came back with the same issue a week later and she acted like she didn't remember telling me to buy the other stuff. Don't waste your time nor money at this place and if you go and see Amy working, RUN the other way because she's not going to help you. She'll just rip you off. This store has so many little parts that Leslies, SBC, and Secard pool stores in Victorville fail to stock. Bill's pool supply has gotten me out of a pinch twice in the last few years for hardware components I needed quickly (day of) on broken pool parts including an odd sized gasket and a filter pump cap that no one else in the high desert stocked whatsoever. Happy they are in my area and will be back to give them more business in the future. read more

I had Bill's pool supply company come and change my pool light .Three months later I looked at it it didn't work I had water in the light I called them and they said it's not guaranteed. The guy who changed it did not and I repeat did not put a new seal so anybody who uses Bill's pool supply please stop. They have a rude customer service and they don't care. Called them to look at our pool tile which needed cleaning, they came out same day with what I felt was an affordable estimate and arrived the next day on time to do the job. They were clean and did an amazing job getting the calcium line off our pool and spa tile. I highly recommend these guys, and as always stop into the store for all your pool needs. Personable and friendly. They were very helpful and willing to answer all of my questions.

The ladies working inside are extremely rude and have poor customer service. They drove us right out the door. Once we told them we just purchased a home with a built in pool they said "welcome to the worst investment of your life!" How depressing and rude is that?? They told us owning a pool is like throwing your money down the drain. Why do they work at a pool supply store if they are not interested in making sales to pool owners? I was disgusted at their comments and will never shop here again. There products were also severely overpriced. They were selling a led light that goes in your pool and changes colors for $25. We found the same exact one at Walgreens for $7! Wouldn't recommend this place of business at all!!! read more

This place has terrible pool service, they use young people with no experience in pool cleaning. I hired them for pool service before they started I had them do a chlorine rinse which was fine. But when they started the service after I filled my pool their pool cleaner neglected to put start up chemicals in. I end up with a very gross pool and spa... Mind you I just had a chlorine rinse done... what a waste of money. I kept calling and they did nothing to fix the problem... At one point I told the store clerk I wanted someone else to come out because the smart ass kid they kept sending out didn't know how to fix it. I even took a sample of the water to the store to be tested and they told me there was NO CHEMICALS in the pool. The store clerk kept saying she was going to send the boss over, but that NEVER happened. Instead they just ignored the problem. The last call my husband had made to them, they lied and said I fired them.... What I said is I wanted them to send someone else, someone with experience... So I guess that means they don't have anyone with experience.!? I let them know not to bother billing me for ruining my pool OR else I would get statements from the people that had to fix it and bill them for the damage their pool cleaner did....guess what they sent me a bill.... So now it's on, I was going to let it go but now they pushed me to my limit. Because of them I missed out using my pool in June and I had to fix their mess. I called Bill's Pool Service and Supplies to repair two leaking couplings that connect to my salt system. They replaced the couplings, however my salt system stopped working. When I called them to have them get it working again, they sent two repair men out to try to get it running again. Both repair men were unsuccessful in doing so. It's been out for almost a week and Bills Pool Repair stopped returning my calls, non-responsive all together. I've spoke to Amy the manager of the store, she said she'll send the owner out to repair it, I never heard back from her. I've left several messages for the owner Brett, no return calls and spoke to Ryan with no luck there either. Also, the cleaning cycles have been changed to odd unusual cycles. It's almost as if their repairman have absolutely no knowledge of pool equipment. I have bigger repair problems now, than before they came out. WARNING! We were told to add a huge amount of shock to our pool. Thank goodness we did not do this. Our pool was fine after we added 3 lbs (according to directions on shock product). have shopped with them over the years, with some satisfaction up until this year. the staff seems like you should listen only to them and not question their knowledge. this year, i found my pool to be over the top with chemicals. i had my waters verified with three other pool companies, and each one stated that the levels were unsafe to be in. just for my knowledge i asked Bill's Pool to check the very same water sample, and the staff member said it was just fine, chlorine/conditioners etc... needless to say, my pool is being drained...an expensive bill to be dealt with along with new chemicals. sorry Bill's Pool ~ never again !! read more

Bill's Pool Service & Supplies was recommended to me by the previous owners of our house and I can't say enough good things about their service and commitment to their customers. I stopped in to have my water analyzed and told her that another pool person (I had to use instead of Bill's because of Home Owners Warranty) said I had a blocked line and suggested I call Rotor Rooter (not kidding) to have the line snaked. When I shared that with the woman at the counter said that would be a huge mistake to snake a line when often a block can be back flushed and said she could have one of her Tech's come out to diagnose the problem and perform a flush if necessary. Bryce was the service tech that came out. He quickly determined I did not have a block line and then showed me how to back flush should I ever get one and then proceeded to educate me on all of the various valves on my pool equipment that I had no idea what they did. He answered every question thoroughly too. While he was going through the equipment he noticed air was getting into the lines by way of a bad o-ring. He also installed a part on my barracuda pool vacuum which took care of that "blockage" that another pool company said I had and tested the chemicals in the water and even added some to kill a little mustard algae and Chlorine alone doesn't--at no cost. Since there was no blockage, there was no cost there either-- I just had to pay for the pool vacuum part. I will now be firing my pool cleaner and asking Bill's Pool Service to clean my pool weekly and am requesting Bryce. I didn't know that they even offered pool cleaning. Great service, great people who know their business; I am a happy customer. read more
