We had our house rebooted a couple of years ago by Bill's. Some young blonde kid ( possibly the owners son) and a few Latinos showed up to do the work. I ask him if he was sure if those were the correct new shingles, he had no idea, " It's what they loaded on the truck". When they finished I asked where was the ridge vent? I called for an estimate on roof repair. They came to the house Friday. I called Monday to see if they came over (we were out of town) and the lady said her computer was not working and she'd have someone call me back. No call. Tuesday I called again and was told they were too busy to do any estimates or repairs for up to 8 weeks. I know they were at the house Friday because our housesitter told me. My question, if they are so busy why did they even show up and since they did..why did they waste their time. Now I have to scramble to get a repair done. Bill's is very unpredictable. read more

Do not recommend. Unprofessional in how they handle business. Currently helping my future mother in law get her money back for a service that has not been done. We are all livid at how my fiancées mother was treated by the owners wife, who is also in charge of scheduling. We cannot have the roof done during the week, as we are all working and have dogs. Have been postponed multiple times. When asked as to when they would show, the phone conversation between my mother in law and the owners wife had escalated to the point where my mother in law was hung up on. About a month ago, I called Bill's Roofing for a quote on getting my home's roof repaired. He came out without needing me to be there, and emailed me a quote the next day. After that, he called me daily to see when I would want my roof done. I told him that I was still shopping around, he said "no problem". For the next week, I kept getting calls daily....at 8am. After shopping around, I called him back to see about setting up a date to start work, to which I had to leave a voicemail because no one would answer the phone. I guess they must have something better to do than call back their customers because it took him another WEEK to actually call me back (to which by then, I'd found someone else who actually cared to answer my calls)....and then the 8am calls started again. I ignored them (hey, he ignored mine...), and they went on for another 3 mornings before I finally answered and told him to stop calling. The quote itself was reasonable, about $1000 cheaper than many if the other places I'd gotten quotes from, but the customer service from this business is what drove me to another company (and all in all the reason for my rating). read more

Last year I got no less that 6 bids to replace my large torch down roof. Bills Roofing came highly recommended as doing great work for a much lower price. I had them come out for a bid and the price was so low that I called my friend back to ask if they were really that good. I'm very happy that I decided to go with Bills Roofing. Carrie was easy to deal with on the phone. Two of his sons were initially out and did a great job placing my roof. Bill came out to finish up and I found him to be very friendly and not at all an unpleasant person. As a single woman, I always worry about construction type people being condescending or off-putting. Bill and his entire crew treated me very nicely. They cleaned up before they left and I'm very happy with the roof they built. read more

Had heard good things. Scheduled an appointment for them to come take a look and give me a bid. 2 hours prior to appointment they called to cancel and reschedule. They didn't even show for the second appointment and didn't even call with an excuse, like the first time. Potential business lost, poor customer relations. read more

I was so impressed with these guys. On 4/22 they came to my house to clean the moss and debris from my roof. The 2 guys who came were actually Bills sons, and have been in the roofing industry all of there lives. Their knowledge was apparent, they made recommendations without trying to up sell. The quality of their work was so thorough and they treated my roof as it was their own. I don't recommend on here much, but I would say if you have any roofing needs I would definitely call these guys... Very good company!!!!!!! read more

We obtained 5 bids and Bill's was tied for lowest price. The best part of dealing with Bill's was the people, they are honest good folks which is a rarity with some bigger companies. Bill's is family owned, they are big enough to get the job done quickly but small enough to know their customers. If you dont get a bid from Bill's you might be paying to much. I dont know how I can more highly recommend a business, to say I'm pleased is an understatement. I think it boils down to trust, talk to Bill the owner and you'll get it. Might they have had a leak or problem in the past, yes probably most have, mines great but if I do ever have a problem, I have no doubt it get fixed, I trust these guys. Sure glad the guys that love roofing, you know their jingle, didnt get mine at more than double the cost. read more

We listed our house for sale recently and agreed to pay a portion to go towards a new roof as our buyers had a VA loan and it was a requirement. The buyers had this company come out to our home for an estimate which was fine because we were getting our own but we weren't made aware of when they were coming out and that they would need in our home. This company is ultimately who the buyers chose and the owners son who came to the house wanted me to give the roofing options packet to the buyers as they were the ones who were going to pick the roof, so here they already knew that we were the owners and not the people who called them. Next thing we knew, we were being told that roofing material was being delivered but that was it, nothing about a start date for the project which made senwe as it should be done after escrow closes. We were surprised when 4 days later we came home and found that our roof had been replaced and in a very sloppy manner! The front roofing looks very wavy, the vents were missing, our satellite was hanging from our 2 story home by two small staples, there was roofing paper and shingles everywhere, squishing our plants and littering the property, hundreds of nails/staples everywhere. Our bathroom skylight was filled with trash and debris, the workers left partially smoked cigarettes in our dry yard during the hottest week in history and then denied it until we said that we had proof on camera and he then retracted and said it was them. They came out to replace vents and then a second trip was made to clean up some of the mess and we still found large pieces of trash all over and the owner had the nerve to take the 4 packs of leftover material. Our buyers financing fell through and even though they are the ones who had a contract with this company and we have zero contracts with them, just an addendum to pay a sum towards it, which we were still willing to pay, they stuck us with the full amount and gave us one day to pay before threatening to put a lean on our home. If you are wise, you'll stay away from this company! Who puts a roof on a house that they don't know who owns and does a sloppy job on top of it! Completely disgusting! read more

Phenomenal service. When we first contacted Bill in March of 2020 it was to get a quote on a new roof, since our roof was recalled. He came in with the most honest, lowest quote out of the 4 contacted, and took the time to explain all the logistics. Knowing I would have to save up, he did some patch work to hold me over until I could do the full roof. While waiting we had a few leaks during some rainstorms at the end of the year, he sent out his son to tarp sections of our roof so that we wouldn't have any more indoor damage while we waited for our scheduled roofing time a few months out. Him and his team have treated us like family this entire process and had always been upfront about costs, like when the price of lumber went up. I worried about getting a project like this done because without a guy in the house, we sometimes get service that tries to pull wool over our eyes. After working with Bill and his team, I would recommend him to any of our friends and good neighbors that need repairs or upkeep done. The project was done in the blink of an eye and I was only treated with kindness and respect. read more

I gave Bill's a call to see if they would do a good inspection as I had lost respect for last roofer I used. They sent a guy out name of Jeff and he took his time to talk with me and explain what the story was with my roof and how I could fix a couple of minor things myself. Which in turn will save me a few hundred bucks. Other than a couple of minor issues my roof looked to be in fairly good condition. What I like is that Jeff took his time, he didn't act like it was the end of the world and just swallowed the last bit of caffeine. He was old school helpful and professional. Actually he was old school in the art of the trades and business and that to me make him and the company worthy of this review. Though they didn't charge me for the inspection and they didn't find anything wrong in a way that would require them to do work for me, you can bet that when the time comes when I need a roofer, I will be calling Bill's Roofing. read more
