Purchased a new heat pump from them four years ago. The first winter we discovered our emergency…read moreheat wasn't connected. A couple of years in, we discovered our secondary drain pan was rusted out. The technician blamed it on humidity in our attic and tried to upsell us on costly bandages like a UV light for the condenser. We had also been experiencing the dreaded dirty sock smell every spring. Come to find out our primary drain pan was cracked due to excessive amounts of torque applied to plugs during installation resulting in water leakage into the bottom of the unit. We have since vacuumed 4 gallons of water out the unit (saturated insulation) and paid to have a new drain pan installed. The unit is still trying to dry out and the company who's now servicing it tells us it may be winter before it does. In the mean time, the humidity in our house has improved. We paid about 17K for this wonderful experience and it seems like it will continue to be a costly and disruptive nightmare. I don't recommend Xtreme Air Services.

I spoke with Erik, the Drain Man, early in the morning and he came out on the same day to address a…read morepretty serious clog. Our drains had produced this black oily sludge which Erik explained was the aftermath of years of oil and soap. It was truly a stressful mess. Early that morning, we actually had another plumber who used a traditional drain auger to attempt clearing the drain, but it did not work. Erik used a hydrojet that easily eliminated the black ooze. Afterwards, he used a camera to probe the inner guts of the drain to insure everything was clear. Erik is truly a professional and I will definitely have him back again to maintain these old cast iron drains. On top of that, his pricing is fair and reasonable. I recommend the Drain Man for all your clogged drain needs.
