The brunette mentioned she had only been there for five days, but you never would have known it. She did an excellent job checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the 3-bone rib dinner with mac and cheese. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a rib snob, but these were outstanding. They had the perfect glaze with a nice crisp on the outside, weren't overcooked, and were so tender but not falling off the bone without being overly fatty. Easily some of the best ribs I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good, but it was spicier than I could handle. It would be nice if there were a non-spicy option available. We enjoyed a few beers, great food, and sat out on the patio listening to blues music on a beautiful summer evening. It was the perfect atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back. The only downside is that parking can get a little tight when they're busy, but it's well worth the visit.

Food and drinks are ready in just a few minutes and the dining area is ample with clean tables and clean floors. An upgrade of plastic utensils would be appreciated however. The chili was especially good as was the pork BBQ sandwich. Prices were reasonable to add to the experience. Parking can be a problem but there is some to be found on the other side of the street but lacks a crosswalk so be very careful.

The waitress was really nice and said one table was leaving soon and she put some tables together for my large group. She was pretty attentive for serving almost the whole bar alone. My mom and I split the burger and mesquite butter wings I think they could've been a little more saucy, I didn't mention anything, but I'm sure she would've brought me more. If I asked. I heard a lot of good things about the ranch and it was good once I really really tasted it. I didn't find it that flavorful off the top but once I really tasted it, it did have good flavor. Maybe this was a fresh batch that needed to sit. My dad got the buffalo chicken eggrolls. They were good, but we didn't realize it would just be chicken dip in the eggroll wrapper We were expecting shredded chicken with hot sauce and cheese or something similar. I came to celebrate my granddad's birthday just to try something new and he generally likes bar food. He enjoyed it as we sang happy birthday to him. The other patrons and the waitstaff also joined in and someone even offered to buy him a drink. this is a really nice bar if you're looking for good food , good vibes and nice people.

A good friend has eaten here quite a bit and he said he's never had a bad meal. My family and I…read moregave it a shot and I think it lived up to expectations. A family member got the Cobb salad, and they're brought it out with an enormous, and tasty, piece of chicken on top. Another family member got the Chophouse salad, and it came out with a huge hanger steak. Instead of fries, it had redskin potatoes and it looked almost like somebody put a salad together and cooked a roast to put on it. The only thing off was that it was requested to be medium, and it was seated nicely, but far closer to rare. We tried the oysters, and they were good. They came out with 3 sauces (cocktail, hot sauce, and cucumber mignonette). We tried the potato croquettes, and they're game with a slice of jalapeño and a spicy sauce. The croquettes were crispy on the outside and really airy on the inside. The jalapeño was a great touch as it added some bite that we all liked. I'd get this again. We tried the Burrata toast, and it consisted of four pieces that had an enormous ball of cheese. They were a group favorite. I'd definitely get it again. We tried the beef carpaccio, and it came out with a large portion of toast. I thought the beef was good, but I preferred it without the toast as it seemed to hide the beef flavor. I went with the seared salmon, and that came with grains and pickled onions. The salmon was cooked very well, and I feel like the grain, onions, and sauces gave it a unique flavor. I appreciated them doing something different. I got the broccoli as a side as I just don't see it as an option very often. It had a balsamic glaze, tomato, and it was cooked well. I also got to try some of their lamb chops, and the portion was huge. The lamb itself was good, but there was a spice on it that didn't seem to be equally distributed. You'd not taste it for a few bites, then you'd take a bite and this heat would kick in. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was enough that several of us noticed it. The lamb came with roasted carrots, and those were amazing. They are easily the best carrots that any of us had, and they're good enough that I think it's worth mentioning. One person got dessert, the crème brûlée, and she said she'd have been happy to have five more brought out, so it's a safe assumption that it was tasty. Lastly, the service was exceptional. I'm really sorry that I didn't catch her name, but she was great. With everything that was ordered, she handled it all well and she couldn't have been kinder. I'd definitely be good with coming back sometime in the near future.

The breads were really good and fresh, we really like the non-white bread. It was different but very good! We had ravioli, fettuccini Alfredo and 2 of the specials off of the early bird menu (the salmon salad and the pork chop). We enjoyed all of our food. The red sauce is really good! My salad was huge, I was able to bring a nice portion home. My husband said the rice with the pork chop was terrible but he really enjoyed the salad and pork chop. Our waitress was a little dry and not super friendly. She did forgot 2 of the soups we had ordered but offered to pack them to go or give us dessert, our kids opted for the dessert and both tried the cannolis (which were very disappointing). We weren't a fan at all and we all love cannolis. She did however send the soups home with us too (but one was not the soup ordered). Anyways it was a nice gesture. The building itself is an older building with nice woodwork and details. The crowd was definitely on the older side but we did dine in early. Overall good food, a little more on the formal side. Would like to return to try their chicken parm & the dipping oil!

The simplified elegance is also accompanied by the hospitality of the staff. Warm welcomes and greeting each customer as if they are a regular creates an atmosphere that you want to be in for every meal... and you didn't even eat yet. The menu has plenty of options, but I asking for suggestions... the staff can help you to find those hidden gems of Oakmont. The fried zucchini appetizer is not your normal bread crumbed planks- but a pillowy tempura batter that is cleverly aired to avoid sogginess with their plating technique. I would highly suggest grabbing this as an app. The bread service is already fresh and delicious... but the secret sauce... ask your waiter for the dip. Yes, it now costs a little extra. But oh my word.... It is worth every scent. The Blackenzola is worth the creative name and topping! The gorgonzola is fresh and adds such a delicious crust with the balsamic glaze on top of their filet mignon. The chef cooks the meat to perfection and it is a great meal. The green beans are a great vegetable option. The mashed potatoes make sense to be a Chef's Choice. The piping on the plate is beautiful - and they are smooth and creamy! After eating such good food, you have to say yes to just see the Dessert menu... and the tiramisu was calling my name. They give you a large portion and you can taste the freshness of this decadent dessert. All in all, Hoffstot's is a place that you will feel welcome, you will want to come back, and they will probably remember you.. or at least make you feel like part of the family.
