I'm a big fan of The Lot for breakfast/brunch but haven't been for dinner in years. I recently went for a quick app and drinks. FYI- they only offer happy hour specials at the bar. I ordered a glass of wine on top and then a frozen espresso martini. Both were great! The martini tasted like chocolate milk lol. My husband really enjoyed his gin martinis. We ordered a cheese board that was fine, nothing out of this world. My biggest complaint was the price - 2 drinks each and a charcuterie board cost us $100. So be prepared that it's expensive.

Spacious restaurant with modern decor and huge portions. Oakmont should rejoice at the gem that they have in The Lot! Tucked at the end of the road, The Lot feels like an oasis with ample parking, beacon of a huge sign, and modern facade in a somewhat aged main road of a town otherwise. With large glass windows shining in the natural light, the restaurant feels classy yet comfortable. Perfect for a date night out, a corporate outing, or just a lazy weekend brunch! The menu is filled with modern ingredients and popular dishes. I've eaten brunch, lunch, and dinner here.. but this outing was just for lunch! I ordered the Pickle Fried Chicken sandwich with a side of Onion Rings. As you can see, the sandwich was HUGE. Not just a simple chicken breast, but a butterflied breast that could feed a small family. Even with the toppings piled on, the bun held up and the sandwich was sooooo good. Don't sleep in the onion rings... these were basically deep fried bracelets. I'd consider it as an appetizer for the family with how large the portion was. Everyone at our table grabbed a to-go box.. even those who ordered just a salad. To top it off, the service was phenomenal. Even with a pretty busy midweek lunch service, our waitress was always available for refills and any request.

We walked in on a busy Friday evening, it was packed but there wasn't a wait to be seated. The three of us sat at our table looking over the menu for at minimum 15 minutes. No one approached our table to welcome us or take our order. So, we walked out. So disappointed.

Western-style omelet & potatoes to die for!!

My business team decided to enjoy lunch out so we chose The Lot at Edgewater. It was situated in Oakmont in beautifully tree-lined streets and a sunny afternoon. The restaurant was buzzing at noon but the waitress was cheerful and helpful taking our drink order but giving us time to catch up. The restaurant was airy and seating spacious so we felt comfortable. We ordered and enjoyed the comfortable booth. Our food arrived hot, aromatic and absolutely delicious. I ordered breakfast and it was fabulous! The potatoes were absolutely to die for and the omelet well stuffed... My teammate ordered lunch and raved the salad was delicious. We plan to visit again and I suggest you stop in...

Still loving the The Lot at Edgewater! My friend and I recently came here for brunch. I booked a reservation on Open Table the night before for a 9:30 am reservation the next day. As always our service and food were delicious! I ordered a frozen espresso martini (so good!!) and the short rib hash. Still one of my favorite brunch spots in the area!

A nice place in Oakmont. Met a friend for breakfast. There's lots of seating options and a large bar. Our server was absolutely amazing and sweet! She was so kind and on top of everything. Price wise, it's a little steep for breakfast. For two of us, it was $80 for 2 of us. Not the type of bill I'm willing to pay regularly for the first meal of the day.

What a lovely restaurant! We were able to call ahead and make a last min reservation for Sunday brunch. I highly recommend making an apt as this is a busier spot. We were immediately sat our table and were greeted by our server, Morgan, who was lovely! She was very attentive and polite, and had good timing on checking in with us. Very affordable pricing for the quantity and quality of food you get and it was also served hot! I went with yummy hot mocha latte for my drink. Very spacious restaurant, yet had a cozy and comfortable feel.

Love this spot. We've been here for breakfast many times and the menu is massive with tons of options. Their vegan breakfast sandwiches with Just Egg and vegan breakfast sausage are so good, and they're one of the few places in Pittsburgh that even carries Just Egg. And wow, those breakfast potatoes are divine! The restaurant is huge and great for large groups. We've been for both breakfast and dinner and are already looking forward to coming back. Service is always warm and friendly.

Ambience is one of a kind. Fire pits (propane) of the trendiest kind on patio. Look for Vinnie the bartender. Drinks. Food. Service. Excellent! Upstairs is the gorgeous cigar bar. Enjoyed bourbon and bites with our fun n excellent server on Sunday last. Shrimp tacos. Steak with potatoes app and onions. Delish fun! Kara!

We loved our food and experience at lot at edgewater. We thought the food portions were sizable and the variety of the menu was nice. It was a nice easy meal like you were sitting on someone's porch. We got the steak appetizer and the burger. Both were solid picks. The service was very friendly and timely. They were communicating the menu, refilling drinks, checking in, and delivering hot food. We liked that they had knowledge over the dishes on the menu and could provide recommendations. The only downside was that they did not ask someone with a barking dog to leave the porch. Every time the dog saw another dog walking by it would bark 2-3 times loudly. The staff seemed like they didn't know how to handle the conflict? But everyone in the outside dining area seemed startled each time this happened.

I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and was excited to go here to celebrate an accomplishment. When I made the reservation I mentioned I was coming for a reason and it wasn't even acknowledged but whatever. We sat outside on a colder night and would have been ok if we weren't sat in what seamed to be the only corner without heat but everyone around seemed cozy. I ordered the steak medium well it came out charred but still pretty pink in the middle but I ate what I could and took the rest to cook the next day. The mashed potatoes tasted instant and very little seasoning definitely not like a garlic mash. I didn't like any of the sauces I tried the chimichurri sauce with I usually enjoy at other restaurants I think it was too acidic for my taste and the creamy pepper sauce which was just bad. The saving grace was the broccolini and the chicken parm my friend got. The veg was cooked well and the roasted tomatoes with the breadcrumbs on top really made it delicious. The chicken was was flavorful and it was topped with burrata cheese which is always a show stopper. I would try this place one more time since some of the food was really good maybe I'll just stick with the appetizers next time.

I went to the Lot last night for dinner for the first time and had an amazing meal!! I got a dirty martini and it was delicious! For starters, we got the burrata and shrimp cocktail. The burrata was one of the best I have ever had; it was so flavorful :) I got the filet and added chimichurri and it was amazing! I also got the mashed potatoes for my side and they were great as well! The waitress was super nice and attentive as well. I will definitely be back again!

A homemade syrup goes great lengths. I had the homemade raspberry in a mocha and it was absolutely delicious, rich, and divine while still being able to actually taste the espresso/coffee flavors. This is just the way a perfectly crafted latte should be in my opinion. Space is small, standing room only inside. More of a grab and go situation. The man working on the Sunday morning I stopped in was friendly, quick, and efficient. Service wasn't the quickest since there was a small line inside and only one person working, but this was not an issue for a Sunday morning coffee stop where I was willing to take my time!

Parking was easy with 2 hour street parking right nearby, which made this a low-stress stop. I was greeted by festive holiday decor when I walked in, which made the space feel warm and inviting. There are a few small tables outside for nicer weather, and inside there are three high tables meant for standing only, so it is more of a grab and go spot than a place to linger. I ordered my usual iced London Fog with almond milk. It took a few minutes to brew as expected. While waiting, I looked around and noticed a limited selection of pastries like scones, plus a small fridge with to-go sandwiches. Along one wall they also had branded merch and coffee brewing equipment for sale. Overall, this is a solid neighborhood coffee shop with quality drinks and a streamlined setup.

The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed and the cozy coffee counter near the entrance adds to the charm. The place is busy but still friendly and familiar, I mean I love a diner vibe ! Other popular dishes include the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, the Steak Salad with garlic-marinated filet, and the Mushroom Swiss Burger with crispy fries. They even have Homemade clam chowder, I will definitely scope that out on my next visit.
