Update my husband told the waitress to cancel our order he was up there for more than an hour our order was two Togo burgers he asked where the food was she said the kitchen was backed up and after he said cancel it she magically appeared with our food and he left. Whataburger on a Saturday night at 2 AM on a holiday would have been faster than this.... It gets two stars because the drink and bartenders are amazing me and my husband are somewhat of regulars getting a drink is no problem but when it comes to food it takes at least 30 minutes to an hour to come out even on a slow day I think that's is absolutely ridiculous a burger should not take an hour to come out unless they are hand making the ground beef for every order and I highly doubt that is that case. read more

The service is terrible! We ordered movie tickets online. Approached a woman at the bar by the bowling alley who was rude. We were able to get our tickets printed at the concessions. Great movie. My date's "reclining" chair did not work. After the movie we decided to eat at Billy's where we waited by the podium for a while. No one greeted us. I walked up to the bar tender and asked if we needed to wait to be seated. He said no sit wherever you want. We sat and waited. Finally someone brought us a menu. He said he would be right back. He never came back. A girl came up and took out drink order. She brought my date a beer and 20 minutes later I had to ask for my drink again. We ordered an appetizer which we had to ask for again. The chips tasted old and the salsa tasted like it has basil in it?? Odd. The chicken in my wrap was so rubbery it tasted microwaved. The place wasn't very busy at all. Only 5 tables which includes us. We waited almost an hour before I got a chicken wrap and he got a burger. Ridiculous! I will not eat here again! The sweet potato fries are good! read more

The service is always slow. The food was great when they first opened, but has gone downhill since. The environment is nice.

I was just there, my son and I got wings, a burger, and a chicken Caesar salad. My son said his burger was bland. My salad was horrible. The Romain was wilted and had brown spots, the grilled chicken was burnt, and there was a bug crawling on my food. I took 4 bites of salad before I found the bug. That was all I could eat. I told the waitress about the bug and the rest of the problem. Even showed her said bug. I was still charged for the salad. Poor food and service all around. read more

We have heard a lot of talk about this place and decided to try it out. The craft beer menu is amazing with over 80 choices. Most were canned, but we don't have a problem with that. Our waiter was very attentive and responded quickly. I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a sandwich. It seemed to take quite a while for food to be prepared, and there were only about 3 other tables with people dining. The wait wasn't horrible, as we had no place else to go....just glad we didn't have movie tickets! I would give the food and our server five stars. My salad was fresh, huge and delicious. My husband loved his sandwich but said the fries were greasy and limp. I noticed on the way home that I was charged $3 more for my salad than listed on the menu. If you increase prices, your menu should reflect the change; the on-line menu as well. read more

Kitchen staff needs to get it together. No ranch on a chicken bacon ranch wrap, and they put mushrooms on a philly when told NO mushrooms. $3 cokes and being charged for a side of ranch is a turn off... But I'd still rate it better than Chili's... read more

The service is slow and needs a lot of work in the service area. The bus boy came to our table more than the server did. Food was okay. Cheese sticks were over cooked. Our drinks stayed empty far too long. This place has potential they just need to work on there service and the time it takes for food to arrive especially when it's not even busy. Came to experience Billy's since it opened on June 1st 2017. *Sliders/fries- Sliders were ok, 2star. Fries delicious double fried. *Pizza- sauce too sweet, bread good. Overall 3 stars. *Mac&cheese- disgusting, weird taste in it tasted sweet like caramel popcorn. *Spicy Fried Pickles-pretty good. *Drinks:*ok *Sprite- was flat, returned and went with water. *Moscow mule- on the drink menu it says it's served in a copper cup but was served in a metal cup. Outside of that the drink was delicious. *Asked to have the World Series put on a tv, The manager came back to inform us that the game was delayed due to weather. *Our waitress Jasmin followed up on us and was very attentive. I really wanted the southwest egg rolls, they were out. I ordered a chicken and shrimp fajita. My husband had a burger and our nephew had the pork chop. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, 30 minutes for our food. There was no knife with my silverware and no plate came with my food. When I asked for salsa and avocado, the salsa arrived a few minutes later with no avocado. When I asked again for avocado I was told I'll ask again. I did finally get 1/4 of an avocado, but by then my food was just about cold. And did I mention that when we arrived we were the 4th table seated? Nobody was seated outside. With the place just about empty you would think they could do better than that. I'd hate to see service here with a full dining room and full outside as well. read more

Had to update my review because the last time I was here (3 months ago) must have been an off night. I wasn't impressed at all last time with the service or food, but I had a coupon from trivia and came in anyways. All I can say is that the attentiveness from the staff and quality of food was impressive. It felt a little over staffed, but as a customer that is only a bonus (can't say the same as an owner, but that's up to them I suppose). My server, Emmanuel, was very prompt, well manerd, and friendly the entire time. Last time I had the beer cheese slider, which were not very good, but this time I had the ribeye with mac and cheese/ fried okra. The ribeye was a little over done (asked for medium and got near well done) , but other than that the steak was flavorful and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was also homemade with a hearty blend of cheeses. Overall, I am very impressed with the direction this restaurant is heading and will happily come back in the future. read more

Was my first time eating there, I didn't like it. Was disappointed on the pasta and salad. But I would go back for the beer .....

Well... it's in a bowling alley/movie theater so it's busy... but, I personally don't like my bars with kids running around. That said, craft beer selection is killer, my girl likes ciders, and they offer 3... so they get 5 stars for that. Craft beers on point. Service.... not so great... waited on numerous occasions. Food, well, I had the BLT... not bad, lots of bacon, but no mayo.. maybe a Texas thing, but I need mayo... bagged frozen fries.. ehhh. She got a personal pizza, pretty good, 7.7 out of 10, tasty and good crust. Cop on duty in the place, however both times I went to the bathroom he was more worried about FB than he was looking for criminals, oh well.. overall, with the lack of places in this town, its just OK read more

Disclaimer: I'm a trained chef with my degree and am certified in dietary management and food and beverage management. Where to start. Did we dine and dash? No, you have to have dined for that statement to be accurate. And we didn't dash until an hour after we had gotten there with no food in front of us. First, "please wait to be seated" sign at the door. We wait. We wait. I'm assuming it was the manager that "greeted" us, if that's what you can call it. Seemed extremely lackluster. Couldn't even pretend to be glad to have customers. I can only assume it was a manager by the way he was dressed, not by how he acted. I can't recount how many times he walked past our table while we waited where we didn't have drinks and were clearly looking around for someone to wait on us. Anyway, sat down to find the "menu" was more of the opposite. There was paper stapled to the menu stating what they would not be able to serve instead of just crossing it out. I won't even go into detail about the spelling and grammatical errors that it was riddled with. It also said the "new menu" would be available June 1st... today is June 2nd. So yeah. We waited over 10 minutes for a server to greet us and take our drink order. Then several minutes went by and a different server asked if we were ready to order, had to ask if the stapled paper was still in effect since it said it was supposed to be finished yesterday. So I needed a couple minutes to figure out what was even still available. We kept it simple. Get us 2 chicken tender meals with fries. One with gravy, one bbq. Shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to make. Tops. We were maybe 1 of 3 tables when we got there. Many other people came in after us. Oh yes. They all got their food before us. Clearly the server didn't put our order in, because I saw several meals like the ones we ordered go out to people that got there later. By our server. Our waitress might have sensed how unimpressed we were getting because I kept looking at my watch and I'm sure I wore a sour face at this point. She saw me look at my watch when she said our food would just be a minute. She asked if we were catching a movie. We said we had reserved a lane. And we did. For 1pm. And it was already 12:33. She said oh I'll have it out by then. We got up and left at 12:45 since we had to get our shoes and bowling balls out of the car. Was she going to get our food out in time for us to shovel it down in 5 minutes?!? We were sitting there just a few minutes shy of an hour. We were so mad we didn't even want to eat anymore. We got over to our lane. She comes and finds us to ask if we wanted her to bring the chicken over. No. It's 1:15pm. We showed up before noon. Wtf. No no no. Not the time to fix things. And that manager. Unbelievable. Very inattentive. Like I said, I can't count how many times he passed by us and didn't say a gd thing. We get so much flack for not trying things in Bay City.... but then we do and we get ignored and I CAN'T EVEN COMMENT ON THE FOOD, but I dare someone to ask me about this place in the future. I could have probably driven across town to La Casona, eaten, and then come back and our food would not have been made still. 0 stars. 0. Pathetic. If you like hunting on a menu in between all the things you can't get, and hate excellent service, well I've got a place for you!!!!! read more

Lunch Specials are excellent. Burgers were great. We've eaten there in the evening as well. Always good.

In from out of town.. great burger, friendly bartender, great beer choice mostly bottle, few drafts. Would have been 5 stars but cheesecake to go with fruit topping was missing fruit topping, although huge portion, had a weird thin clear gel on top(maybe fruit topping?) and was not very good to me, most was tossed. Billy' catered the Project Graduation, Senior Serve dinner this past Saturday. Many tables did not get served. The food was horrible. Then to top the night off, the food was being delivered from a vehicle filled with trash that smelled like sewage. Please think twice before using them for an event. Very disappointed, wish I could award negative stars. They truly ruined what should have been a great night in the 2018 Graduating Class of Bay City's lives. read more
