We went on Mother's Day for the pizza and salad bar. It was surprisingly good. We arrived at 11:00. The salad bar was full, fresh and clean. Pizzas were hot and being made fresh. Service was great. We would definitely go back. It's pizza inn. Nothing fancy but, it works. My main complaint would be Pepsi products only. read more

Ok, while driving from SC to TX we stopped here for the night. Called in a medium pepperoni pizza for take out. It was ready in 15 minutes, the staff were all super friendly! Got back to the hotel and I was shocked at how great the pizza was!!!' I was expecting a budget pizza but this thing was really good, and it was literally COVERED in pepperoni. This place was within walking distance from my hotel and knowing Pizza Inn's reputation I thought I would give it a try. I called in my order and walked over for pick up within 15 minutes. Although they do offer a buffet for lunch and dinner, I still chose take out. I was not disappointed with the service, time for pick up nor with the taste, quality, and amount of ingredients on my Large thin Crust pepperoni and sausage pizza. The restaurant was. clean, appeared to be a proper temperature in the dining area and the staff were friendly. The next time you are near Vicksburg, give Pizza Inn a try! read more

We have been here twice bc we stay in Vicksburg often while traveling. The first time we ordered out and the pizza was decent. The second time we had the buffet inside. The pasta was so old even the kids wouldn't eat it and lost their appetite. The pizza was not terrible and was at least warm. read more

Buffet is either out of pizza, or cold. Order a thick crust Pepperoni pizza to go, crust was burned black, 8 pieces of pepperoni. Buffett is a weak attempt to compete with Pizza Hut or other chain pizza places with a buffer. The pizza was cold, had nearly zero cheese, and OLD!! Salad bar had a decent selection of toppings, however the eggs were literally grey. Anyone who says this is worthwhile pizza, clearly hasn't had even moderately good pizza. Not impressed.. AT ALL . Sadly there isn't much else within walking distance of the hotels in the area. That being said, I'd rather eat cardboard than eat here again. On the plus side, the staff was friendly. read more

Omg the worst pizza ever. Ordered the Hawaiian pizza. I hate to give that review but nothing about it tastes like a pizza should taste. It's gooey and has the weirdest texture ever. Brought kids in for Buffett about 3 weeks ago. Kids really wanted pizza and it was next to our hotel. Pizza trickled out very slowly with owner hovering over Buffet table making sure old pizza is eaten first (which did not look appealing). Spaghetti sat in a pot of water and very soggy. Best part of experience was very friendly waitress/asst Mgr lady who was very attentive. At the end when we settled the bill, owner charged adult meals for all of my children (2 were under 8 years old). He didn't even ask... when I approached him about it, he just opened up the register and gave me a $10 bill and walked off. Almost like he knew he got caught or something. Very disappointed in experience and will not ever eat at Pizza Inn again. read more

We stopped in towards the end of the night on Friday. We had been traveling all day and were looking for a quick bite to eat. This place is great if you need a quick all you can eat experience for 3 hungry kids who've been in the car 12 hours. The server was top notch, the food was so so but no one cared. I gave the Pizza Inn in Vicksburg 3 stars simply for the pizza and the friendliness of the restaurant staff. We stop here once a year on our way to Texas for Thanksgiving because it's the only Pizza Inn we know of that's still open. Like I said, the pizza is typical Pizza Inn (buffet) pizza and we love it. The salad bar is so-so... all the veggies were fresh but there wasn't a huge selection/choice. On our most recent visit, the restrooms were HORRIBLE. The floor was a mess, the sink had hair in it and one of the toilets was stopped-up. The staff is always friendly and attentive, but there is a huge mess of paperwork and newspapers on the counter where the register is - something you'd expect to be in an office behind closed doors. At this restaurant, you don't get silverware wrapped up at the table - you get loose forks on the bar if you need them. Today I had to rifle-through them to find a clean one. They had dried food, lettuce, etc. on them. I DID find a clean one in another fork container around the bar though. That being said, we will probably stop here again in the future because we love the Pizza Inn pizza buffet, but I will make sure I use the bathroom before I go next time. read more

Ordered on-line 30-minutes out. They didn't start my order until I got there only for everything to be wrong. Had to wait longer. Only for once again the order was wrong. Pizza was okay but the pasta was TERRIBLE. So watery it got all over my car. Also pretty unsanitary looking inside. And they had no forks for take-out. The whole ordeal took me about 40 minutes once I arrived. Customer service was terrible. Oh, and they tried to microwave my pasta IN STYROFOAM (which I don't do with styrofoam or plastic) to make it hot again before giving it to me because it had sat so long. read more

Ordered online, they didn't start it until after we got there at the time stated on the order so we had to wait. Then they got the order wrong. The pizza was ordered without sauce due to severe allergies to tomatoes but it was covered in it. I took it back in and the worker just took it and never said "I'm sorry or let me fix that or..." The food was ok. We showed a coupon to our waitress before we ate and she said to show it to the cashier when we paid, after eating. When we went to pay, the owner would not accept it. I use to love Pizza Inn and I hope my experience at this Pizza Inn is not the norm. I sat down around 7:40 pm and ordered a beer and glass of water, when I saw the buffet, I decided to order off of the menu. The waitress took my order and the pizza came out fast. I'm sure that it was probably going to the buffet but I got it instead. Which would have been okay, except It was not fresh out of the oven. I think it had been on the counter longer than it was in the oven. When I received my check I discovered they had charged me 50 cents for my water. I have never been charged for tap water at a restaurant. Needless to say, I travel a lot on I-20 between Texas and Alabama and I'll never eat at this Pizza Inn again. read more

After visiting the battlefield we went into Vicksburg to find a decent restaurant. What we found was the whole town closed up (at 6 PM) So came back out and rather than fast food chose the Pizza Inn... big mistake.. We had the salad bar which was kind of ok, but it came with different kinds of overcooked pizza, all with thin crusts and sparse toppings, in a word... yuck. The place is old, the one waiter brought our drinks quickly, the soda seemed flat and tasteless. When checking out there is a sign on the register to please have the courtesy to not use phones at the register. I was left there standing a good 4-5 minutes while the owner?/ manager talked on the phone. After finally hanging up and pointed out the sign and asked if that phone courtesy didn't go the same on both sides of the counter. His reply was "That's a business phone." So I guess at his restaurant the customer comes second to common courtesy. read more
