    Ruben and fried mushrooms

Local Deli that should not be missed! Owners work it! A busy lunch place even with a 3:00 lunch date. Menu on the wall... Oder when you enter get a number and go sit in the quaint booths. Settle into the well worn benches and see all the different beer memorabilia from the past decade. The short wait was so with it... Ruben sandwich with fried mushroom..... still make my mouth water. Cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy and soft. Make sure you grab dessert when you come in because it will be fine if you wait to get it when you leave

A large cooler filled with a bunch of mixed drinks. Awesome

I'm going to go ahead and say this place is okay. I went between 3 and 4 stars but something that always brings down a place in my reviews is their heavy use of styrofoam. I'm not into that at all. My sandwich on the dark roll was fine. I got the larger sized one. It had plenty of filling for the price but it was pretty bland in taste. I'm not sure I would order it again. The three things I really enjoyed at this place was the friendly service, the drink selection available from the full coolers, and the fried mushrooms. The mushrooms on their own would probably be enough to bring me back in.

    Burger and fries sooo good!

If your looking for a whole in a wall but with great sandwiches this is the place to go. I got the club and it was soooo good. I could not eat the whole thing so I packed it up and ate the rest for dinner. I hate going to places and ordering a sandwich and there is barely any meat. At this place not a worry, the amount of meat and condiments veggies etc was perfect. I love that you can pick up and go or sit down. Did I mention the fries so good! They were made fresh to order and perfectly cooked. My daughter orders the burger and she said mommy it taste like a burger should. You can tell the meat is fresh and processed like some places! Will go back to try a different sandwich!

What a cool local deli. Located in OR in a strip mall spot you may miss if you blink a second too long. Closed on Saturday and Sunday and only open until 7 on weekdays, we are happy to have finally made it here before close! The shop is a small operation with fast and friendly service. We ordered: -Cheeseburger w/bacon: People rave about the burgers. The patty was fairly thick and well-seasoned. However, you must like the fattier ground beef that has more of a sausage-like, chewy texture to enjoy one of these burgers. The bacon was a crisp and flavorful addition. The sesame bun was awesome! -Small meatball sub: This was our family favorite, surprisingly. Such a tender ball of explosive flavor! The sauce was good, cheese kept it all together, and the bread amazingly soft and chewy. -Small steak & cheese sub: The bread was, again, the best part. The steak is not thin and chopped super thin like a cheesesteak, as an FYI. -Large fry: Hot and fresh. However, we thought these would be crinkle-cut like in the photos and reviews, but they were thin steak fries that had no seasoning/salt whatsoever. Perhaps this is why they send salt and pepper packets in the bags? Large size was very big and would likely be shareable for 2-3 people (at least). The small sandwiches were sizeable and definitely shareable if you want to try a few different sandwiches. They were already cut in half. We will be back again to get another meatball sub and try the Italian and steak in a sack. Not on the menu, but we hear they have onion rings, which we'd like to give a go!

First time eating here. The deli is older and offers a wide variety of drinks and beers. They have sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, chicken and salads. The food is all made fresh to order and the beef is fresh not frozen. Friendly service.

    Hot Italian and fried mushrooms.

After a few visits, I figured it's time to finally write a review for Buffalo Mountain Grill…read more BMG is an unassuming spot--definitely not trying to impress you with its looks. When you walk in, there's no host stand or friendly greeter, just a sign that says, "Seat yourself and let us know you're here." The layout feels a bit patched together, like a restaurant built from spare parts. It's dimly lit, and the interior design doesn't seem like a top priority--so I wouldn't recommend it for a first date or an attempt to impress someone. It has strong dive bar energy, just in restaurant form. There is a small outdoor patio, and the bonus? It's dog-friendly. Inside, there are plenty of TVs, so it leans a bit toward sports bar territory--but without the usual rowdy crowd or game-day vibe. Service has been solid overall. On our first attempt to eat here, they let us know they were short-staffed and wouldn't be able to serve us for an hour. Disappointing, sure--but I appreciated the honesty and that they didn't waste our time. On return visits, service has been on point. We were greeted quickly, our server was helpful and attentive, and food came out hot. There is a bar, but don't expect craft cocktails or a resident mixologist. It's best to keep it simple here: grab a beer on tap or something straightforward like a whiskey neat. Anything more complicated might fall flat. As for the food, it's been consistently good. The hot wings are a standout--crispy with a flavorful hot sauce that actually delivers on heat. I've also tried the fish & chips and the burger; both were solid and satisfying. The only inconsistency was with the side salad. The first time it came out with a fresh spring mix, but on another visit, it was just iceberg lettuce--not a dealbreaker, but a little disappointing. We used to go to Oakey's for our dive-bar wings and casual grub, but Buffalo Mountain Grill has taken that spot for us. It's quirky, no-frills, and definitely not fancy--but they serve up legit food and deliver where it counts. Give it a shot. Just don't come looking for ambience--come hungry.

This is the THIRD time this has happened, and I'm officially done trying to give this place…read morechances. Tonight I called at 8:25 and spoke to someone about placing an order. I called back at 8:30 (literally FIVE minutes later) to place the order while I was already sitting outside, and the same man suddenly tells me they're closed. Mind you, the store hours say they close at 10 PM. When I told him I had just spoken to him 5 minutes before, he immediately got hateful and rude, started raising his voice, and then turned the lights off like I was bothering him for trying to order food during business hours. Just 4-5 days ago the SAME thing happened except it was around 9 PM. At this point it's honestly giving pure laziness and unprofessional behavior. I'm really not understanding how this place is still open if employees can just close whenever they feel like it and treat customers like trash. He refused to tell me his name and was literally yelling saying his name is "Buffalo Grille" (???) which tells me everything I need to know. I'm sure I'm not the first customer who's been yelled at or cussed at over the phone. I will be calling every day until I get answers from a manager or owner because this is unacceptable. DO NOT waste your time here. Still no apology from owner

Headed to a Smokies game, we chose to stop into SmashCity for a pregame burger…read more The service and burger came up quickly. I opted for the truffle smash and large fry. My buddy opted for the Spicy Smash. The burgers were mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm great, Juicy and the bun held up. Fries were fresh and would like to see maybe a topping or poutine option for them. Cool spot to get some AC and great burger before a Smokies game or a night in the old City.

SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!
