1st time trying Hole In The Wall Cafe, but won't be the last. It was convenient to get to and parking was great as its in a small shopping plaza. We walked in and were greeted by a very pleasant hostess and immediately seated. As soon as the hostess left us the waitress (also very pleasant and helpful) took our drink orders and left us to check out the menus. Small place in a strip mall with excellent food and service. Very busy at lunch, still seated in about 15 minutes. Waitress was hilarious and very attentive. Loved our breakfast experience here. We were greeted and seated quickly on a Friday morning. It was quite busy, which says a lot about the popularity of the restaurant, especially because the service was fast and efficient with churning out the customers. The atmosphere is farmhouse-esque with quirky, funny signage and the most beautiful domed wood ceiling. The menu was very reasonably priced and had both unique items as well as breakfast staples. My husband ordered the 3 egg, 3 meat breakfast with grits and a biscuit with a side of gravy. I ordered a build your own biscuit sandwich with the fried chicken and over medium egg with a side of gravy and the diced potatoes. Hubby liked his meal and said everything was well-cooked and seasoned and he was satisfied without feeling weighed down with the need to waddle out as we left. We both agreed that the biscuits were very soft, buttery and fresh. Delicious...just wish they were a bit more fluffy and substantial if used as a sandwich vehicle. The chicken was great. I'm not a coffee person, but their decaf has become my drug of choice. All the servers are nice and kind. It's wonderful to go somewhere and see these smiling faces. And if I missed coming in for a bit they ask my sisters if everything is ok. Yes, this is the place that can enter your family in the best way . Wow! We stopped on a whim having never been here before. My date got the Oppenheimer omelette and it was perfect. The eggs were fluffy and it was overflowing with goodness. ! Likely the best potatoes at breakfast in Anderson County. Food cooked well and very tasty, not swimming in grease like anywhere else in town. We are in from out of town and hoped to find a small local restaurant for breakfast. The Hole In The Wall cafe did not disappoint! It is clean and very cute. I loved the music they played and all of the signs on the wall. But most importantly the food was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. The coffee was yummy and freshly refilled before I even finished it. My eggs and potatoes were perfect, better than I can make them myself, and I'm kind of picky. The service was quick and very attentive. The place had a very relaxed vibe, where service and quality are priority but also it's good to have a sense of humor and relax.
