I love me some chicken wings. And this place has some truly excellent ones. You can get from 5 to 50 and get them in different flavors, guy style being my favorite. The wings are done slightly crispy on the outside and juicy ok the inside. I can't tell you much about the rest of the food as I haven't tried it...lol. But the wings are a home run. The restaurant is bar style so not everyone will like the atmosphere, but service is great and they are all enthusiastic about the wings. I visited Bilmar Station last night with friends and my spouse after celebrating here a few months ago and having such a great experience that I wanted to come back. The atmosphere delivered again. Bingo and karaoke were a lot of fun, and the wings were solid. That said, one interaction left a lasting impression. When our tacos were delivered, everyone at the table had ordered beef except for my spouse, who had one chicken taco. We asked the food runner, Brian, if he could help us identify which taco was the chicken so she didn't accidentally eat beef. Instead of assisting, he threw his hands up, mumbled under his breath, shook his head, and walked away while we were still asking a simple question. The reaction felt dismissive and unnecessary given the situation. While I stepped away from the table, I was told he later returned to apologize and shared that he had been yelled at in the back and took that frustration out on us. I appreciate the apology and understand that everyone has tough moments. I also learned he has been there a long time and may face personal challenges. Even so, guests should never feel the impact of internal stress. Respect and basic communication are part of the hospitality experience. To their credit, the bartender stepped in and comped my last round of wings, which felt like a genuine effort to make things right and was appreciated. I still had a good night overall, but the interaction left a lasting impression that I won't forget. Parking is easy it's in a strip mall and after 8 pm most of the other businesses are closed. They have daily specials and game specials too. I've been coming here for years. They've changed it quite a bit. It's no longer smoke inside, they're now open for lunch and they've rearranged it to fit more people. They're known for their wings ask for the wings Kurt style so they're extra crispy or Guy's style which is their signature way. The service is top notch. My suggestion is if it's busy get a table then go to the bar to get your first round of drinks. They have table service but if it's busy then you may want to order at the bar. As far as things to do there are a lot of TV's so this is a great spot to catch a local game. They've got pinball, a golf style arcade game and a bowling game, they've also got darts and a touch tunes machine. Bilmar is a hidden gem here in the old TNC. I grew up in Town N Country and apparently it's been around since my youth. Our family moved to Westchase at the end of last year, and the hubby and I first checked out Bilmar in January 2020. We've been coming at least once a week ever since. Pros: Awesome food (no, really, you'd never know this deliciousness was being served at a dive bar!) at great prices, especially at their various "nights" like Burger Night, Taco Tuesday, etc. VERY generous pours (you almost get a double of whatever you order) at very good prices Video games, darts, BuzzTime, TouchTunes, lots of TVs, karaoke, etc. Fun, friendly bartenders who remember you and what you like to order Usually crowded, so you have a chance to meet and talk to a lot of people, most of whom you will run into again Cons: Smoking is allowed. As a non-smoker, this drove me insane on my first couple of visits, but I've slowly gotten used to it and/or it annoys me less. Nice little bar located off of Hillsborough and Sheldon Rd. Place is a little bar with the very best wings in town. Tonight's drink is the Evan William's Peach with a splash of Sprite. We have came here all the time and the main guy/manager is amazing. Every other bartender/server there sucks. Two guys specially. They will stare at you and watch you come in and not even greet you or come get a drink/food order. The past few times we have been in they have took 20-30 minutes to take my drink order. Aside from feeling like I walked into a box full of lit cigarettes, I think that it is a pretty cool dive bar. It is a very unassuming place from the outside and I wouldn't have given it a second thought (since you can't see in from the outside) if I wasn't specifically looking for the place. The inside is surprisingly larger than I had expected and for those who are there to "have a couple of games with their drinks", there has to be 12 or more televisions for your viewing pleasure. As you would expect, there is sport paraphernalia all over the walls and a cool mural or two. I like the decor and ambiance (sans the perfume of yesterday's cigarettes). My party of 2 ventured in this past Sunday and arrived just in time for the 1 o'clock games -- the place was pretty much empty so I decided that I could brave the depraved air and stay awhile. We were immediately greeted by Ashley and she was on it -- She ran down the specials for the day and got the drinks going. After sampling a few items on tap, We started with an order of mozzarella sticks. They were pretty average, about what you would expect from the average box-n-bake variety at your local grocer. Next we ordered the 15 wings; I took my half hot with a side of nuclear sauce. Hey, they told me it was hot so I was hesitant to have my wings coated. In the end, the sauce was very good and I almost regret not having the sauce put directly on them...but the combination of the two different sauces (plus ranch) was pretty tasty. As time went on, more folks came in to watch the games and after the 4th smoker (or so) blazed up, I couldn't handle it. Sadly, I had to leave. For as long as I could stay in there, I enjoyed my time, received good, attentive service and I thought the decor was cool. So I give it a 4 stars. I was just at Bilmar station. I am 100% disabled veteran and I am quiet and I'm reserved. Even when I'm treated poorly I try to always be respectful. So anytime that I needed a drink or to order food even though I was sitting at the bar and the bar was not crowded I had to wave down the bartender. So I asked for my check and I put my debit card out right away she saw me do it but she walked away and then she never came back so 10 minutes later because my Uber was coming I walked over to where she was talking with her friends because that's what she was mainly doing and she accused me with great attitude did I threw things at her which I did not I handed her my debit card and she said the look on my face that I was angry I didn't say anything I was not angry in any way I just needed to go. She be rated me and when I called to talk to the manager of course she was a manager and I told her how poorly she treated me and she argued with me and talked bad about me again. I don't deserve this I have fought hard for my country and all I want is respect that I give in return. I don't think because I don't go there on a regular basis that I should be treated poorly because I am not what is considered a regular. If you can't handle second hand smoke or find it disgusting then Billmar isn't the place for you. It's a real smoky bar and a friend of mine had to walk out because he couldn't deal with it. Having said that, this is a really good Buffalo Wild Wing alternative if you prefer non-chain local places like do. I'm not a hater of B-Dubs as much as I am corporate-type franchises that all look the same no matter where ya' go and offer the same overpriced food + drinks. Bilmar is a divvy throwback sports bar for people who like good bar food, strong drinks and sports. It's smoky but like I said, this is an old school sports bar where that's allowed. A guy lit up a cigarette right beside me and about half the other patrons were smoking as well. You rarely see that nowadays...only in Wild West movies! No biggie for me, 2nd hand cigarette smoke doesn't bother me one bit (I think the dangers on that are a little overblown) however more sensitive people might not be able to take it. My grandmother used to smoke like a fish in front on me when I was little so I've built up an immunity to it, in fact it gives me a sense of nostalgia. There are plenty of TVs for you to watch any game. Ask the bartender to change the channel if you walk in and your game isn't on. They have a remote for every television, however, a few aren't in HD. I came here because some other people wrote that the wings were surprisingly good here. They didn't disappoint. They were super juicy + flavorful. Plus, they don't skimp you on the dipping sauce, where had huge chunks of blue cheese in it. The cost is more than reasonable: 10 wings for $8 or 15 for $11 is pretty damn good! That's not their happy hour menu but their regular price and most other similar places that offer wings charge at least $3 more than that. Draft beer selection...adequate. They have about 20 different choices with a nice mix of your standard domestics and local breweries. Nothing fancy but you'll find something you like. Most of their clientele includes die-hard loyal Rays and Lightening sports fan who know the bartenders by name. Everyone is cool and relaxed, unless the TB Lightening score a goal on a power play. Every Wednesday is karaoke night. Service was fine. Good was good. It looks sketchy from the outside but I think this is a pretty legit small sports bar in West Tampa. read more

I wandered in here just because it was there and I could. What a great time! If your a people watcher, you have a 360 degree view, and what a view it is. I agree definitely a dive bar, but no complaints on that fact. The fact that it is a dive bar earned it its stars. If you want to play games, go for your choice and pretend you are doing some indoor camping. You gotta love this place and you have to love that they know how to pour a great dive drink, a nice heavy pour. If you want to be alone, no problem, folks will leave you alone. This is hands down the best bar in town n country! First of all best food at a bar at all I'm the area! Second of all the bartenders are absolutely amazing! They care about you and know and have a relationship with basically every single person that walks in the bar! Ashley, Maddy, Corey, James, and Stephanie are absolute gems of bartenders at an absolute gem of a bar in an otherwise pretty quiet part of town which makes this bar one to go to in Tampa! I suggest ordering their Guy style chicken wings for food and if you don't like chicken on the bone (like me) they also have Guy style tenders that are to die for! For a local pub Bilmar is the place! First, all of their staff are great. If I owned a bar, they have the people I would want to work for me! I thought we had good wing options downtown, but Bilmar does things their own thing and love it. I learned they make their nuclear sauce in house and is probably the best wing sauce I have had. Burgers are solid. At one of their staffs recommendation I got a grilled cheese once and now order regularly as well. If you come here expect good people, drinks that are stiff / generous pours and draft beers are perfectly cold served in a chilled glass.
