When the bill came, there was a cash vs credit price option, and we were told we were the first guests to use the new system. Even so, the total still didn't match the menu prices we ordered from, and that wasn't clearly explained upfront, which made the experience confusing. Ambiance-wise, it's a classic dive bar -- no complaints there. Live bands, lots of events, and a hole-in-the-wall feel. That part is honestly the strongest draw. For anyone unfamiliar, this used to be Mangan's Irish Hut for years. The original owners retired, someone new bought it, and now it's just "The Hut." The Irish Hut signage is still on the building, with BBQ signage in spots as well, so it feels like the place is still finding its identity. If I'm speaking directly to the owner: there is potential here. The event ideas and community focus are great. But food consistency, drink balance, menu accuracy, and clearer communication all need attention.
