I looked around for some repair services online and the best I could get was a week away, from Hogans. Then somehow Dick's Appliances popped up on my screen and I gave him a call. As he looked through his schedule I was thinking, oh man, I hope this guy doesn't make me wait a week also, then he said, "I can be there around 3:00 today, "Awesome I responded." Not having a fridge really sucks. Then he called back to say he could be over at 11:00 AM. "Great." I had the fridge pulled out and the bottom cover off. He immediately noticed that something down there wasn't even plugged in. When he plugged it I think we both expected the fridge to start humming, but we got nothing. Then he said, "your fridge must be in defrost mode." He pulled out a straight edge screwdriver, and under the cover, in the middle of the top of the fridge section, he turned a screw about 1/4 turn and, "Hmmmmm! Music to my ears. It was a simple fix and my worries of having to buy a new fridge melted away. His name is actually Dave and he was in and out in 10 minutes. Fantastic. He could have ripped me off and said all kinds of things were wrong with the unit but he's an honest guy. Thanks, Dave. Well Done. I will always call him first for any kind of appliance repair.

It had died and would have been more cost effective to get a new or used one rather than repairing the one I had. He said he has some used but reconditioned dryers at his place and I went to look at them and chose one very close to the one I had. They came back within a day to take my old one and set me new one! I just mentioned the door to the dryer was on the other side than my old one and without even knowing it could be changed, Tommy changed the direction of the door to make it more convenient for me!!! Good thing he broke it when he was bringing it in the house, because after he hooked it up, if it actually worked, it could've blown up the house. He never tried to test it. He damaged my home upon installation and left without telling us. when I called and asked him about the damage that he left behind he tried to blame it on me. If you want carelessness, damage to your property, broken appliances, and a foul mouth in your home, then this is the guy to hire.
