Whenever I'm in town visiting my friend, this is the place where we love to grab brunch. The staff is always super friendly and the food comes out fresh / hot and in large portions. They have plenty of seating for small to large parties and even have seats up at the bar. It's got a small town cafe feel to it and I love it. I usually get the BLT sandwich with a side of fruit an an iced tea. Their BLT has to be my favorite because they load it up with bacon! I can't stand when you get a BLT and it lacks bacon, that surely is not the case here. My best friend loves to get their over medium eggs; the yolks are flawless, hash brown with cheese and toast. My other friend is a huge fan of their banana nut bread, it's a delectable breakfast item that feels more like a dessert and is dangerously addictive. I can't say enough positive things about this establishment, I will for sure be back again and again when in the area. There are plenty of other options. Five stars for the food, minus a star for the service... I was down in Stockton and I had heard about this place so I decided to come in for a late breakfast. The place isn't fancy, it's just a simple "coffee shop vibe." I'm seated right away and they bring me my menu. It's a decent size menu, but as the name says, they have a lot of omelettes, broken down by protein. They have a decent number of bacon omelettes, sausage, omelettes, chicken, omelettes, vegetarian, omelettes, etc..... I decided to have the steak, Philly omelette. Angus steak, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and swiss cheese. I chose fruit instead of potatoes, and for bread, you can have toast, pancakes, waffle, French toast, or biscuits and gravy. I chose the French toast. The food comes, and there was a lot of it. They are four egg omelettes. It was humongous. The eggs were good. And while the steak tasted very good, I thought it was a little bit on the tough side. I didn't mind it too much, I didn't expect to get filet mignon. The veggies were tender. I normally don't like bell pepper, but hey, it's a Philly cheesesteak omelette. I'm glad that they didn't overdo the bell pepper. The cheese was also creamy and delicious. Everything played very well together. The French toast was extremely good. It was battered just right. It tasted like a good French toast should. The fruit was fresh. There was so much food, half of the omelette came home with me. For the quantity and quality of food, the price was reasonable. I'm taking a star off, because of the service. It was 11 AM on a Wednesday, and the place was less than half full. When they bring me my coffee, they didn't ask me if I wanted creamer, and I didn't notice that there was none on the table. I had to ask a second time for creamer. When she brought me my omelette, I asked her if she had Cholula hot sauce. She said, yes. I will bring it to you. She never did. I had to ask a separate server for the sauce. Finally, my coffee cup was empty, and I had to ask twice for a coffee refill. It was inconvenient. I know they are extremely busy on the weekends, I wonder what the service is like during the busy times... Other than the service, the meal was fantastic. I've been going to omelette house with my mom since it was in Lodi and the food and service here are always great! I was in Stockton today running errands so I called my mom to see if she wanted to meet for breakfast/brunch. I ordered a club sandwich with sweet potato fries and an iced tea. My mom ordered the chicken fried steak off the senior menu. Both were delicious like always. The club sandwiches here are huge and easily large enough to get two meals out of for me. Had to eat my leftovers for 3 days straight at home for breakfast to finish them lol. On top of that, the menu pricing here is unheard of nowadays; stellar value for the amount of food given! As for taste, I really liked the scrambled egg itself for my chicken scramble (airy and well-seasoned!), but I didn't care much for the fixings in it; still-crisp chunky cuts of onion, bland chicken sausage, and soft-greasy bacon. The pancakes were fluffy but also lacked any buttery flavor; some drowning of pancake syrup was quite needed. Overall I can see why this breakfast spot is a hit with its great-valued large food portions (no really, one entree is easily sharable for two *hungry* people!!), but I don't see much beyond that. read more

This is an awesome greasy spoon style breakfast diner. I went on a Sunday morning around 11am and the wait time for a table was reasonable. Our server was super friendly and checked on us frequently. We ordered the Omelet House for pick up while roadtripping through Stockton, and we are so glad we did! We split the green chili burrito and added steak. It was so so good. Not too spicy, but the green chilis added flavor. The steak was a perfect addition and there were huge chunks of avocado throughout. We got the potatoes with onions, and this was also a great choice! We also had really great service even though it was a pick up order. They gave us plenty of napkins, 2 sides of salsa, and a few packs of ketchup. There was about 1 hour til closing, they still managed to accommodate our huge family which included 3 kids. This place is located right off of the 99 next to Arco. I always see this place again, as it's right off of the 99, 5 mins from my old house off of Holman. So I drove past quite often but never stopped until this day which I'm 5 months too late to write this review, but better late than never. We came in around the end of February beginning of March. Something like that. The staff were extremely welcoming, nice, prompt. Inside is pretty outdated, so for as much money as they make.. could be nicer, but don't judge a book by its cover. From service to food was amazing. Portions as I said in the beginning are huge! Kids items are more like adult portions/sizes which I wish I knew before because I probably would've shared my meal with my 7 year old. However, ONE thing I disliked about the restaurant but they did note on the menu which is appreciated, is they charge a sharing plate fee. I forgot what they called it, but you can see it clearly on one of the pictures I posted with the review. So if you and whoever you're with are planning to share a meal, you pay for the meal + an extra like $6 bucks (don't quote me on the price, check my pictures first, like I said it's been about 5 months since I came in) to share that meal! Which is ridiculous to me! But to each their own. I appreciated that they at least made that clear on the menu beforehand. I have a soft spot for places that have turkey sausage and they had the flat kind that I love. The only downside is they have a light coffee that tastes like water but they told me they have a dark roast and replaced it and it was better but not the best!
