This location is always a disappointment. Time after time, or maybe I just order at the wrong date and time. I order a super spicy drunken noodle with crispy pork belly. There was no spicy in my noodle, not a lot of vegetables, and under season. When I ask for the extra chili oil and house sauce to go(so I can add it to my bowl as they didn't add spicy like I requested), I was informed they charge extra for those NOW? This is close to my workplace but will never order here agai

I absolutely love this place! I've been to the location up in the North Stockton and now they opened one in the heart of Downtown Stockton. It's hard to find a Southeast Asian restaurant in South Stockton but this is it! I had the spicy drunken noodles. They give you large portions!!!! The quality of the food is up to par, very authentic! The interior is very modern, with a huge mural of Southeast Asian art. Very clean and neat. Service was quick and efficient. Polite and friendly staff! Please give this Downtown Johnny Wokker a try!

Had the pleasure of trying their downtown branch near the theatre! Place is spacious and clean. The hostess was pleasant attentive and friendly. The food was amazing as flavorful as I remember the food trucks for both the crab rice and the pineapple rice (yes we ordered 2), chicken was crunchy and juicy in the inside worth coming back again for the price and location.

5/24/25 Grand Opening Day! Social Media advertising brought us to a new southeast asian restaurant opening in Stockton and we love supporting a new local business! We arrived just as they were still getting ready for their grand opening. They were giving away themed Johnny Wokker snacks and goody bags for the first few tables that arrived to support them. We ordered the crab fried rice and the appetizer (6) fried chicken wings. The crab fried ice is loaded with lumps of crab (not skimping here) and was seasoned really well. The fried chicken wings were crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. They serve Pepsi drink products, have a few can options of coconut juice, Thai tea and bottled water as other drink options. They were starting to get crowded at 12:30 as we headed out. We heard some popular influencers were arriving soon and wanted to head out before it got even more crowded. They are located next to a movie theatre and had a few parking garage's conveniently located near by. Molly who took our order is one of the owners that started this business with a couple of her closest friends. They are such sweet young entrepreneurs! Wishing this business lots of success as they start this new chapter! We'll be back if in the area to try some other dishes like the drunken noodles or pad see ew. Until next time, come support these ladies!

Accommodating. Professional. Timely. Personable. Consistent. Flavors are always poppin'. Clean, organized, and food delivered to the table piping hot! We were celebrating FIVE birthdays today and they seated 11 of us. We spoke with them prior to coming in and we text them our order. As we walked in, we all had water waiting for us which was much appreciated. We didn't walk far... but the three or so blocks we walked worked up our appetite and that sun was hot. Not long after arrival, they started bringing the orders out. We will keep you in mind for our gatherings. I didn't snap any pictures which is not like me. However, I have one of some flavorful garlic rice with beef from this location from a different day. My fave is the drunken noodles. Another delicious item is the garlic fried rice with crab. I added scallops and shrimp and shared it with three other people. Best wishes on your Grand opening week. Hope to see you all year long. Congratulations on your second brick and mortar location.

    Basil fried rice very hard

So disappointed. I love the March lane location. I just realized there was a second location closer to me. I ordered the Basil fried rice and majority of the rice was hard. Maybe it was old rice..... I paid $4 to add protein but the chicken was dry and there was hardly any. No flavor either.

Pad See Ew, 12 Piece Chicken Wing and my friend got the crab fried rice
    Super S.

Came here for dinner and ordered the Pad See Ew and a 12 piece chicken wings. Cashier was very friendly and helpful since it was my first time. The food came out super hot and quick, nearly burned my mouth with the freshly fried chicken wings. The pad see ew was in huge portions for $14 and was absolutely delicious. The prices are awesome, the food is fresh and delicious, what more can you ask for?

Saw an ad on IG ad for this place and we had to try the pad see-eww. This place serves family style so be ready to share. It was worth the trip. I'm assuming he was the owner, a guy came over a couple times to ask how everything was. He was very friendly and welcoming. The place could use some work, the aesthetic wasn't anything special. However, they are new. This just opened a couple months ago. The place smelled good, didn't smell like cleaning chemicals. The food was great and the prices matched that energy. He said this was their second location, with the first being by the Walmart on West & March Lane. We will give them more time to settle in and be back here again. We're looking forward to checking out their first location.

The Crab Fried Rice with Shrimp was delicious. They used real crab meat and definitely didn't skimp on it, which made every bite worth it. The Drunken Noodles were another standout. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not overcooked or soggy--and the flavors were spot on. One thing we really appreciated was the generous portion sizes. We had plenty of leftovers to take home, making it an even better value. The dining area is small, simple, neat, and clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. My only disappointment was the Thai Tea. It came in a can, which was my fault for not reading the menu carefully. I was expecting freshly made Thai tea, so the canned version just wasn't for me. Overall, I'd give Johnny Wokker Southeast Asian Cuisine a 9/10. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and definitely a place I'd come back to--I'll just skip the canned Thai Tea next time!

I liked how crispy and sweet yet tangy the bang bang shrimp was. This was probably my favorite item we tried! The chili wontons weren't too spicy and they were really generous with the amount of shrimp inside. Shrimp & wonton noodle soup was def a comfort meal growing up, so I'm happy they had that here! Portion size was very generous and broth was tasty. Noodles were cooked well too, and I liked the filling of the wonton. We also got the curry ramen with katsu chicken. The chicken was sooo crispy, it was one of my favorite items. The bacon kimchi flavor had a nice spicy kick to it. The beef chili oil noodles was tasty and I liked the small beef bits. The bang bang chicken had the same sauce as the bang bang shrimp, but I liked how the entree came with rice too. The philly cheesesteak eggrolls were super crispy, and if you're a cheese lover, you need to try this! Overall, a really solid spot for Asian fusion food, and the servers were all extremely nice and patient as well. Service was really quick!

Learned my lesson after selecting Bangkok Restaurant based on delivery service rating, which…read moresounded quite promising at 4.8. A quick check of reliable standby, Yelp, was lacking. My rating is 3.0 Good pricing, decent amount of food, typical selections, with sketchy area, especially after dark and uneven quality of dishes. My DH went with his typical Chicken Pad Thai. There's no place on the online ordering system, still furnished by the restaurant, for desired heat level, which is pretty important for Thai joints. I wrote in the Notes section "please make this dish mild, without peppers". For myself, the Pad See-Ew with pork. I always dream of getting char siu but dream on. Also selected the generic fried rice and a couple other dishes. Gung Pad Pak, shrimp sauteed with winter mix veggies and peas. The last item was Pad Ke Nieu, with green peppers and tomatoes and some very big and soggy pieces of bok choy. The best dish was the sauteed shrimp and veggies, which all tasted fresh. The worst was the veggie and beef. About half pound dried out rice noodles, possibly not rehydrated long enough in water beforehand. I found a teaspoon's worth of tiny beef fragments. The Pad Thai was okay but the chicken was rooster-tough and dry. The included chopped Thai peppers had my poor honey stop eating after only a few bites. The Pad See-Ew had plenty of small pieces of thin, dry and tasteless pork, which had a very unusual grain, like wood burls. Veggie and noodle ratio fine but this dishes badly needed sauce. About 1 1/2 teaspoons of those firey little peppers in mine, which I also ordered mild. No issues with the fried rice and I did really enjoy my refreshing Jackfruit milkshake. The spot is in a strip mall, with lots of unhoused folks wandering around and possibly making some customers uncomfortable. The bare bones decor shows a business trying to make do but I hope they have a heart and share some of their end of evening leftovers with those less fortunate, instead of just throwing that away.

It started with my parents taking me as a teen when we lived a town over and now that I reside in Stockton, I still come back to this place. One thing I can say about this location is that it has always been consistent, whether it be drinks, food or anything else. I don't think they have ever messed up my order and the service is always good for a take-out / fast-casual place. They have had interior decoration changes over the years and their menu is now displayed on tv monitors versus the wall, but it still has the same charm it has always had. Now for the food and drinks. In all honesty the drinks are good. This isn't going to be the greatest boba you've ever had, but it's a nice drink. I love to get their snows or milk teas - my go-to's are typically Taro, Thai tea, coffee / mocha, or one of the flavors that is named after animals or random creatures (which are just combos of two flavors). Their food is amazing. I reccomend getting a fried snack or their bento box (don't forget to upgrade for fried rice or chow mein)! My faves as a vegetarian are the fried tofu & fries, fried tofu rice bowl, Kung pao tofu, and vegetables and tofu upgraded to fried rice. Those who eat meat tend to enjoy the orange chicken with chow mein, popcorn chicken, and Mongolian beef. Every bento ordered is filled to the brim and depending on your stomach, you can get between 1 to 4 meals out of a box. Come check out Quickly if you haven't. You won't regret it.
