Had the pleasure of trying their downtown branch near the theatre! Place is spacious and clean. The hostess was pleasant attentive and friendly. The food was amazing as flavorful as I remember the food trucks for both the crab rice and the pineapple rice (yes we ordered 2), chicken was crunchy and juicy in the inside worth coming back again for the price and location.

I absolutely love this place! I've been to the location up in the North Stockton and now they opened one in the heart of Downtown Stockton. It's hard to find a Southeast Asian restaurant in South Stockton but this is it! I had the spicy drunken noodles. They give you large portions!!!! The quality of the food is up to par, very authentic! The interior is very modern, with a huge mural of Southeast Asian art. Very clean and neat. Service was quick and efficient. Polite and friendly staff! Please give this Downtown Johnny Wokker a try!

5/24/25 Grand Opening Day! Social Media advertising brought us to a new southeast asian restaurant opening in Stockton and we love supporting a new local business! We arrived just as they were still getting ready for their grand opening. They were giving away themed Johnny Wokker snacks and goody bags for the first few tables that arrived to support them. We ordered the crab fried rice and the appetizer (6) fried chicken wings. The crab fried ice is loaded with lumps of crab (not skimping here) and was seasoned really well. The fried chicken wings were crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. They serve Pepsi drink products, have a few can options of coconut juice, Thai tea and bottled water as other drink options. They were starting to get crowded at 12:30 as we headed out. We heard some popular influencers were arriving soon and wanted to head out before it got even more crowded. They are located next to a movie theatre and had a few parking garage's conveniently located near by. Molly who took our order is one of the owners that started this business with a couple of her closest friends. They are such sweet young entrepreneurs! Wishing this business lots of success as they start this new chapter! We'll be back if in the area to try some other dishes like the drunken noodles or pad see ew. Until next time, come support these ladies!

Accommodating. Professional. Timely. Personable. Consistent. Flavors are always poppin'. Clean, organized, and food delivered to the table piping hot! We were celebrating FIVE birthdays today and they seated 11 of us. We spoke with them prior to coming in and we text them our order. As we walked in, we all had water waiting for us which was much appreciated. We didn't walk far... but the three or so blocks we walked worked up our appetite and that sun was hot. Not long after arrival, they started bringing the orders out. We will keep you in mind for our gatherings. I didn't snap any pictures which is not like me. However, I have one of some flavorful garlic rice with beef from this location from a different day. My fave is the drunken noodles. Another delicious item is the garlic fried rice with crab. I added scallops and shrimp and shared it with three other people. Best wishes on your Grand opening week. Hope to see you all year long. Congratulations on your second brick and mortar location.

Pad See Ew, 12 Piece Chicken Wing and my friend got the crab fried rice
    Super S.

Came here for dinner and ordered the Pad See Ew and a 12 piece chicken wings. Cashier was very friendly and helpful since it was my first time. The food came out super hot and quick, nearly burned my mouth with the freshly fried chicken wings. The pad see ew was in huge portions for $14 and was absolutely delicious. The prices are awesome, the food is fresh and delicious, what more can you ask for?

Saw an ad on IG ad for this place and we had to try the pad see-eww. This place serves family style so be ready to share. It was worth the trip. I'm assuming he was the owner, a guy came over a couple times to ask how everything was. He was very friendly and welcoming. The place could use some work, the aesthetic wasn't anything special. However, they are new. This just opened a couple months ago. The place smelled good, didn't smell like cleaning chemicals. The food was great and the prices matched that energy. He said this was their second location, with the first being by the Walmart on West & March Lane. We will give them more time to settle in and be back here again. We're looking forward to checking out their first location.

their food is so bomb that when I went to go watch a movie I fell asleep. That's how good it was. I missed the whole movie, but I did not miss my meal.

The Crab Fried Rice with Shrimp was delicious. They used real crab meat and definitely didn't skimp on it, which made every bite worth it. The Drunken Noodles were another standout. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not overcooked or soggy--and the flavors were spot on. One thing we really appreciated was the generous portion sizes. We had plenty of leftovers to take home, making it an even better value. The dining area is small, simple, neat, and clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. My only disappointment was the Thai Tea. It came in a can, which was my fault for not reading the menu carefully. I was expecting freshly made Thai tea, so the canned version just wasn't for me. Overall, I'd give Johnny Wokker Southeast Asian Cuisine a 9/10. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and definitely a place I'd come back to--I'll just skip the canned Thai Tea next time!

After waiting over 30 minutes, I politely asked the waitress what the issue was. Her response was that there were "a lot of things going on" and that we would just have to wait our turn. At that point, my coworkers and I decided to leave. It doesn't matter how good the food may be if the customer service is that poor. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant, the service was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this restaurant, especially during lunchtime. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Unfortunately prices are similar to San Francisco too, so don't expect dirt cheap prices but for the quality and taste you cannot beat it. And the service is actually so attentive and friendly here! Dim sum all day, but if you order dim sum after 3pm then it's an additional +$1 on all items. Everything is made fresh to order and comes out PIPING HOT! [Beef chow fun $17.99] had a great wok hei flavor, don't be afraid to add soy sauce and chili oil on the table since it does need a bit more salt but the noodles are not overcooked in the slightest and the bean sprouts still have a nice crunch! Good flavor overall, I would get this again [Siu mai $7.25] and [har gow $7.25] were SO GOOD, nice meaty bites, seasoned really well and the wrappers were not overcooked, highly recommend. [Deep fried shrimp balls $8.25] were SO crunchy, crispy, a huge amount of shrimp inside, my mouth is salivating just thinking about it. Definitely need to add soy sauce and chili oil though [Bbq pork cheung fun $7.25] were GOOD! The pork inside is flavored so well and the rice rolls were chewy and not overcooked either! The sauce they add on top is also perfect, would definitely get again Pass on the [deep fried meat dumpling $5.45], the dough on the outside was a bit too dense and overly thick, almost bread like which I didn't enjoy. I wish it had a more mochi-like texture [Shark fin dumpling $7.25] had too much glass noodles inside, I thought it was still raw at first, but it was just a little mushy because of there being less protein inside. Pass [Salt and pepper wings $9.99] were okay, needed more salt and pepper flavor but they were cooked well! Would not get again [Bbq pork bun] was soft, crispy because of the sugar crumble topping and was so savory because of the delicious bbq pork inside! Highly recommend. [Salted egg yolk custard bun $8.25] were so fluffy, heavy on the egg yolk flavor, grainy but still smooth at the same time, really really good and highly recommend this decadent dessert. We also got these [deep fried custard dumplings] that had the same texture as the meat fried dumplings, except it had the most fragrant custard inside! Highly recommend. It started with my parents taking me as a teen when we lived a town over and now that I reside in Stockton, I still come back to this place. One thing I can say about this location is that it has always been consistent, whether it be drinks, food or anything else. I don't think they have ever messed up my order and the service is always good for a take-out / fast-casual place. They have had interior decoration changes over the years and their menu is now displayed on tv monitors versus the wall, but it still has the same charm it has always had. Now for the food and drinks. In all honesty the drinks are good. This isn't going to be the greatest boba you've ever had, but it's a nice drink. I love to get their snows or milk teas - my go-to's are typically Taro, Thai tea, coffee / mocha, or one of the flavors that is named after animals or random creatures (which are just combos of two flavors). Their food is amazing. I reccomend getting a fried snack or their bento box (don't forget to upgrade for fried rice or chow mein)! My faves as a vegetarian are the fried tofu & fries, fried tofu rice bowl, Kung pao tofu, and vegetables and tofu upgraded to fried rice. Those who eat meat tend to enjoy the orange chicken with chow mein, popcorn chicken, and Mongolian beef. Every bento ordered is filled to the brim and depending on your stomach, you can get between 1 to 4 meals out of a box. Come check out Quickly if you haven't. You won't regret it.
