I've turned myself into a Bingo Junkie. I came to this particular location, because it was similar and closer than the Lake Worth location. The only large bingo hall in Miami is Miccosukee and the odds are to large to win. I first came here on Wednesday during their matinee session, which began at 12pm. They have a large non smoking area, but I smoke manages to still come inside the room. When I came in the morning, it was lunch time, I ordered a hotdog, which came with fries. It was pretty descent for $7.95. The matinee session was $65 out the pocket if you buy the extra games. I was there till 3pm and really enjoyed myself. I returned yesterday for the evening session, which commenced at 6:30 p.m. I spent around $50.00. I was hungry ordered myself some chicken tenders with shrimp, fries and coleslaw. When it comes to the kitchen crew and the servers, they are very attentive and give excellent customer service. Bingo is a 3-hour event, so mentally prepare yourself to be there till may 10 'o clock at night. They have an extensive menu and offer breakfast for the morning session. Let's talk about parking, arrive early if you want a parking spot, they filled up fast. They offer 24hr security for any safety concerns. I can say I enjoyed myself and will be returning. If you in the Pompano area/Broward area, this is the place to be.

I've been here twice and I find it a LOT of fun. What's not fun about playing Bingo? For the price it's decent. The staff here are SO nice, very friendly and always on top of their game when it comes to helping winners claim their prizes. Even the food and snacks are pretty tasty (recommend the French fries and their pretzels!) My only real complaint is while they have a non-smoking room which I appreciate (and I'm a former smoker), you can still smell the smoke from the bigger room. Would really love it if they could do something about the ventilation in the non smoking room.

Granted, we went on a Saturday night, but the noise level is really unappealing, as is the crowd gathered in their front entrance, guzzling wine. We ordered the jambalaya, which was really tasty and the short ribs, which were magnificent. They were tender and flavourful, served with very nice steamed vegetables and potatoes. Especially the short rib plate was presented beautifully. There is a nice assortment of wines. We would love to have tried dessert, but it was honestly just too noisy.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Coconut Creek Review…read moreDinner Date: August 23, 2026 Location: 4473 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073 Hubby and I decided to go out for dinner with his brother and wife. We wanted to spend some time together, have a few drinks, and enjoy a nice dinner, so we decided to visit Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Coconut Creek. We arrived around 5:00 PM and had reservations. Unfortunately, when we entered the restaurant, we were not greeted at the entrance, which was our first disappointment. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Brian. I want to give credit where credit is due because Brian was attentive and did everything, he was supposed to do. He asked us what we wanted to drink, asked about appetizers, checked when we were ready to order our meals, and continued to provide us with service throughout our dinner. Unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. I ordered the meatball appetizer, and when it arrived, I immediately noticed something was wrong. The meatballs appeared to be burned underneath the sauce, and they were so hard that I could barely get my fork into them. I had to stop Brian and ask him to take the meatballs back to the kitchen and remove them from my bill. Brian did so, and I appreciated that he addressed the issue. I then ordered Churrasco Steak with Parmesan Fries. The steak itself was good, but the fries were cold, hard, and did not have any Parmesan on them, even though Parmesan fries were part of the order. At this point, I was extremely disappointed with my meal. And my brother In-law who ordered a steak sandwich with Cesar salad, the salad never arrived with his meal. And when we stopped our waiter for the salad it took 1/2 hr to stop him and remind him of the missing salad. The dinner portion took 45 minutes before being served on a busy Saturday night. Because I was so unhappy with my experience, I asked Brian if he could please get the Manager because I wanted to personally explain what had happened. The manager, Tim, came to our table. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by his response. He did not appear concerned about my experience, and I did not receive an apology for the problems I had with my meal. I had to ask him, "What can you do for me?" What happened next made the situation even more frustrating. Instead of addressing the fact that my meal was the one that had the problems, the manager decided to give me credit for my brother-in-law's sandwich. I did not understand this resolution because my brother-in-law was not the person who had the problem with his meal. I was the customer who had the burned meatballs, the cold and hard fries, and the missing Parmesan. At that point, I felt that my complaint was simply not being taken seriously. I want to be clear that Brian, our waiter, was not the problem. He was attentive, polite, and did what he could to help when I brought the food issues to his attention. My biggest disappointment was with the management response. When a customer takes the time to explain that they had a horrible dining experience, I believe the manager should show concern, listen to the customer, apologize, and make an appropriate effort to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, I did not feel that happened during our visit. This was supposed to be a nice evening out with family, and instead, I left feeling very disappointed. The food was not what I expected, and the lack of concern from Manager Tim made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Coconut Creek to others based on this experience. I strongly suggest that management consider providing additional customer service training, particularly regarding how complaints are handled and how managers should respond when a customer is genuinely dissatisfied. The waiter Brian deserves recognition for doing his job well. Unfortunately, the food and the management response left a very bad impression. Management more Training!!!! Especially Mr. Tim. Disappointed Customer.

Fort Lauderdale Country Club is definitely a private club for serious golfers. There's two…read moreregulation 18 hole golf courses on the property. I spent years growing up playing golf here and eating at the club restaurant with my family and friends. My father was an avid golfer and had dreams for me that I wasn't interested in fulfilling. I had lessons by the pro at the club and from my father. They had tournaments for various age ranges of children. I won a couple of trophies in my early teens. On holidays like July 4th they had hot dogs. My father would play golf and we couldn't wait for him to get home because he brought us each a couple hot dogs. The weekly buffet dinners were fantastic spreads with prime rib and all kinds of other meats, vegetables, bread and deserts. Definitely pig out feasts. We loved to go because they had bingo after the buffet! It was fun for all ages. My father purchased his membership in the 1950's. When he passed away in 1990 my mother was forced to sell the membership. The membership required you spend a certain amount of money annually in the clubhouse. We couldn't afford to entertain family and friends like we had in the past. Besides when my mother aged no one was left to go to the buffet or play golf and lunch at the clubhouse. I'm highly recommending this club if you're a serious golfer. The place is maintained meticulously. There's even a tree planted in my father's name next to one of the holes where he got one of his 7 hole in ones!
