I saw a tattoo artist for kids. A photo op area were there was a car. Many items to raffle off, but again I was a bit late. I did see you needs zelle to get the raffle which I also do not use. Maybe next year can catch the events inside that will protray Hispanic heritage month .

Another year to celebrate the anniversary of the City of Coconut Creek 1967- 2026 together with 250…read moreyears celebration of America . It began at 2 Pm and ended just after 800 with the fireworks show . Many vendors and tables to visit and purchase from locally. I did notice they decided to charge $20 for non residents for the rides to get a wristband and free for residents this year. There was a drama theatre show and some others which I missed. It did rain at one point and they had to clear the field because of the lightning alarms that went off. I was actually about to leave anyway for the day and return later in the evening for the "Hot Hits" band and fireworks show from Zambelli which is always amazing. They situated the tent to eat food and sit down towards the back so not in the middle of everything which was much better. I also noticed a fenced off area from the main stage which seemed weird since it was separated from each side so not many were dancing as it was in the years past and the rain in between put a little damper on it too. Something new this year was a cooking demonstration from the Chef and owner of the restaurant Setto Mezza showing how to make fresh mozzarella. There was a $5 admission for that tent which also included a sample too which was delicious The shuttle bus from casino was available as usual, if not you had to park in the neighborhood because closer parking is for vendors and officials . The regular carnival food was available to purchase throughout the day . Many vendors to visit during the day with some goodies too.

The rainy weather put a pause on the events and rides but once it finish the show went on. The fireworks got cut 5 mins short due to the cloudy conditions and limited view of the lights. They meet every Wednesday at Galuppi's. The holiday market was held outside between Galuppi's parking lot and the Pompano Beach Dog Park. Parking was available across the street at Pompano Beach Community Park with a complimentary shuttle service. Admission to the market was free and it ran from 11 AM to 5 PM. The market featured vendors selling candles, soap, honey, jams, jelly, crystals, customized gifts, clothing, jewelry, accessories, art, crafts, plants, baked goods, and much more. There were also food trucks and holiday cocktails and other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages for purchase. I even caught my first sight of the big guy himself, Santa Clause who posed for pictures with the kids. I really like that they held the market on Sunday because so many other local festivals were scheduled for Saturday. This was a nice way to kick off the holiday season, start the seasonal shopping, all while supporting a worthy local organization.

I loved the variety of the cabinets. Theres traditional and modded cabinets with tons of oldschool games to play. Beat em ups, fighting, racing, hunting, DDR, rythm games, console games like gamecube in the front. They even have a sailormoon S beat em up. Im a hardcore sailor moon fan so it was appreciated. The bathrooms were clean. There is one big flaw with this place. Many of the games I played had buttons that would stick so I was unable to play them. Games in particular are the Spiderman beat-em-up in the second room, the DJ rythm game (not sure what its called. The one in japanese), the other rythm music game in the cornor of the second room, metal slug X, melty blood. The sailormoon game also. Oh and the L.A. shooting game with the guns doesnt have any rumble on them. The cabinets that have a ton of games in them are cool but the buttons arent mapped to each game. If you play a fighting game that has 6 buttons and theres a bunch of combination moves you can do with all those buttons but only 4 of those buttons are programmed to the game, you cant do the moves and theres no point in playing it. To get the full experience out of this arcade, I would suggest the owner go through each cabinet and set up every game to where the buttons can correctly do what they are supposed to do. There is no point having a million games if you cant play any of them because of broken buttons and mapping issues. It needs weekly maintenance. I understand that kids can be really rough with the buttons but if you dont fix the buttons then whats the point of having the games there if you cant play them? Its really easy to map the buttons. That would fix half of the problems. My fiancee said it best "its like playing cup and ball without the string. And you have to keep picking the ball up off of the ground. " Huge potential for this place. It could be 5 stars with maintennence. I see the vision.

You get to talk to some of the artists here. That was cool. I advice to wear good shoes. The fair is in a great location. It is surrounded by galleries, shops and restaurants. It is a lot of fun. I also got to hear some talented musicians play. They had a vendor giving away pineapple popsicles and other things. I love free stuff. I was dropped off here. This area has some street parking and garages a few blocks away. The traffic was crazy. I recommend to get dropped off like I did.

With such of a variety of multi-cultural art, it provided a fun experience for the five hours. The eateries were extremely busy offering food and drink to the crowds which we took a break to indulge. Parking was tight but availabe at $4.00 an hour near Las Olas Blvd. Baptist Health provided free ice pops and fans to the crowds and even bowls of water for the dogs. Fun times and cant wait to do it again next year.
