We had a major leak this past year that the owner neglected to address correctly. I expressed my concerns multiple times about moisture and possible mold, but I was dismissed. Months later, I became very sick and couldn't shake the feeling that something in the home was contributing to it. Out of desperation, we called Bud and he showed up the same day. He immediately confirmed an additional leak we didn't even know about, and found 100% moisture in the walls of my bedroom. The relief I felt finally getting answers was indescribable. That confirmation meant everything. When we had to leave that rental in an emergency and move into a new place, Bud came out again that very day to check the new home. He alleviated my fears and verified that the house was clean. Mold illness is real absolutely real and it can completely change your life. I needed to write this review because I'm beyond grateful for Bud's integrity, responsiveness, and the way he dropped everything to help when I truly needed it. Initially, a remediation company had come out and told me I'd have to rip out the cabinets due to water damage. I wanted a second opinion, so that is why I reached out to Matt. It was a pleasure speaking with him, for he is very knowledgeable of water damage. Matt really calmed my nerves. Our appt time was 9AM, and about a couple minutes after, I see his car pull up. I love when people show up on time. I've had bad experiences in the past where I sit, look out the window, and just wait for someone to show up at the scheduled time. Matt showing up on time really impressed me. He looked at the areas where they may be damage, and didn't find any moisture detected. He couldn't guarantee that there wasn't some water damage to where a drain leak was, but reassured me that at least inside the cabinets, and on the drywall, there was no damage. He was patient in answering my many questions, and made me feel more at ease about the situation. He asked that I send pictures of what's behind the stucco, once the plumber cut into it to fix the pipe, and that he would then give me a recommendation on how to proceed from there. I joked and told him hopefully I won't need to use his services, but if the worst case scenario became a reality and I did need the cabinets removed and drywall replaced, I know Matt would be the first and only person I call.
