ServPro's bid on my job: $3,600. The obvious problem was water under the house & mold. Nine months after ServPlus completed their work, there is now water pooling under the house. They won't fix it, claiming they were only called upon to remedy the mold. The detailed invoice denies this. After complaining to them about it, I realized that they're not the kind of company that troubles to inform the owner of all the elements involved in a repair. Now I'm being advised that a French drain system might be called for. ServPro fixed the mold, but not the cause. read more

And so I called another company, and then when they showed app, we decided to go with the company that did respond. Yes, then serve plus called me and tried to talk me into using them. Had them do mold remediation and insulation replacement. Mold remediation went fine. Insulation replacement was a nightmare. Raised the issue of poor coverage both as work was occurring and after work was completed. My concerns were partially addressed both times I raised the issue, but ended up finishing the work myself after they "fixed" it twice. Very poor scheduling, crews often did not show up in the agreed upon window and even no-call no-showed. Worst money I ever spent. read more

No one wants to deal with standing water in their basement. Even worse when it is discovered on a Saturday morning! From the moment we called Servplus, the team was on the move. Keith, the project manager was great to work with, was understanding, and walked us through possibilities and steps to work through clean up. A two person team was dispatched and arrived an hour later! While they offered many options to "save" our carpet and padding, we opted for removal. They removed and carted away all soaked carpet, padding, and even took up all the tack board that was nailed into the concrete up and away! Fans and humidifier were set up for two days. Two days later, the Rick and Jaden showed up and were so great to work with. Baseboards that were removed revealed black mold (oh, joy!) and they took the time to tell us what our options were. We opted to have them cut the lower parts of the sheetrock out and remove the wet insulation, which they of course carted away. Black mold was cleaned up, a sanitizing solution sprayed to kill what was there and fans were set up to dry up the walls and studs for two more days. The third team came two days later (again, right at the top of our availability window and very thoroughly took moisture readings in every section of the affected areas. They were so respectful of our house, took care to explain pricing and services carefully, and helped us meet our budget as this was out of pocket. We would give them a 10 out of 10 on customer service, speed, and quality. Though I hope we never have to use them again, I'd recommend them to anyone who needed restoration or clean up. I discovered a severe sewer backup rising through my basement floor one evening, and found many belongings sitting in blackwater. My house reeked and I assumed most items were destroyed. Enter ServPlus!--they dispatched a couple wonderful people to my house after hours, and within an hour they arrived and promptly got to work. CHRISTIAN and CHASE are angels on earth and the true heros of society, I cannot thank these guys enough. They were professional, sympathetic to my loss, explained each step of the process to get our home and personal items sanitized and deodorized, and were thorough in the work they performed. Just pleasant personalities too; they patiently listened to my concerns and reassured me every step of the way. I am very happy with Servplus. I had them out after a pipe burst under my kitchen sink and leaked into my basement. They arrived at my house within an hour after my plumber called them and went right to work pulling up carpet and setting up dryers and dehumidifiers. The next day Rick and Noah arrived in the morning and continued working to remove the saturated ceiling, drywall and carpet padding. I can't say enough good things about Rick and Noah. The work done in our crawlspace thankfully fixed the musty smell in the basement for us (we weren't sure it would!). We had a bit of a mix up with the invoicing (was invoiced for different work done), but communication with the office was smooth and they were able to get it fixed quickly. Would only suggest that you get details (if possible) on the initial work estimate so invoicing is smoother and with fewer questions. We had a banner week, our kitchen sink sprung a leak, damaging the cabinetry, the a few days later our basement flooded, and a few days later, it flooded a second time. ServPlus handled all three and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We had a point person in the office who always knew what was going on and was available to us. In our case, Sydney, never made me wait on hold and made everything happen right away. She also provided me the photos they'd taken which I submitted to our insurance. State Farm called the next day and told me they would cover the claim based on the thorough photos we provided. In all the stress, I'd forgotten to take my own. I wish I could remember the name of the team member that made the initial assessment and took those photos, because he, like all the others we worked with, was professional and efficient. The folks who came to our house did great work. Jesse did the work in the kitchen, carefully controlling dust and other debris from spreading throughout the house while he worked. But incredibly, when finished with the mitigation, he propped up our sink with a very sturdy support system so we could continue to use our sink while we waited on contractors to bid on the rebuild work. In this market, that could take months, and those would have been months of us doing our dishes in the bathtub. Incredible. When we discovered standing water in our basement, Rick and Chase came out to pull up the carpet, remove the matting that was unsalvageable and treated the wood that could be saved (which was most of it). They did it in a way that allowed us to keep using the space. And when another issue caused a second flooding, they were quick to adapt and help us manage it within a few hours of us letting them know about it. I don't write many reviews on Yelp, because I'm pretty busy. But they saved us so much time and stress, I feel like I'd be doing others a dis-services if I didn't share our experience. read more

My husband and I identified a mold issue in our house over the weekend. The person who answered asked if it was an emergency and I needed someone sent immediately or if it could wait for the weekday rates, which are less expensive.
