The owner was very responsive and worked with me to find a good time that worked well. He came out and did a thorough assessment of measuring water damage, investigating water access points, and talking to tenants. He went over everything with me and provided photos and determined that there wasn't any reason to do mitigation in this case and charged me nothing, I had used yelp to find this company and had read reviews of other restoration companies doing just the opposite, with aggressive practices or claiming insurance would pay for work that wasn't covered. I found another company on yelp who also came out for a quote. They cut plaster out of the wall with no warning or explanation. I called to get their assessment after talking to Aaron and their assessment was just that they could tear everything out and replace everything. I asked about what they found since that seemed like it would be the first step and there was no mention of the plaster that came out and they only said they got "moisture readings". I'm waiting for a giant quote from the other company but don't expect any of the assessment that Aaron provided, only line items. I rarely leave a review but I'm just very thankful to Aaron and wanted to show my appreciation for his time and effort and wish him success as someone who puts the work first! read more

Trails Water Restoration was the first company to get back to me after a pipe burst during the winter freeze and flooded our garage ceiling. Aaron arrived on time and provided an accurate ETA each time he visited, which made scheduling easy for me. This was my first time dealing with a situation like this, and he patiently explained the process (both of the water mitigation and how the home insurance claim worked) in a way that was easy to understand.
