Every time I come here it takes forever because they're always short staffed. At some point it stops being an excuse and becomes a management problem. Either hire more people or pay enough to keep employees, because the customer experience is awful. I would try to go to the liberty BioLife or another one nearby. read more

During my donation, Christine on two different occasions shoved the needle completely into my arm and then backed it out about an inch before shoving it sideways into my vein. The procedure was extremely painful and left me with a large hematoma, significant bruising, and blood loss. I have donated plasma multiple times before and have never had an experience this severe or handled this roughly. In addition to the poor technique, Christine was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. I left the center shaken, in pain, and concerned for the safety of other donors who may be treated the same way. I strongly believe she needs to be retrained or removed from performing donor sticks until her technique and professionalism are properly evaluated. Have done 7 donations everyone is so personal and perffesional. Very quick as long as your health screening goes well

They can't keep workers. Some of the workers they do have can't even write a name down or even go in order of the names. There's no sense of urgency, no apologies for the disfunction. I personally do not have 3 to 4 hours to wait in there to donate twice a week. There's a lack of care. read more

Don't even try and donate if you're transgender or gay. Was denied because I needed a hormone letter from doctor and couldn't have sex with another AMAB for 90 days. Wasted an hour of my life just to be told no. read more

This center used to be great to go to. It has significantly gone downhill over the last few months. Wait times are at least an hour, if not longer. There's a high turnover in staffing and the staff is horribly overworked. In recent months, they have become unfriendly towards each other and donors. It's sad to see this place go downhill so quickly, because it used to be a great experience to donate here. Not anymore. It seems that the management is lacking organization within this center and people are turning away. read more

literally the worst experience of my life. the staff here does not seem to know procedure so they will just tell you whatever and then when they determine what they said wasn't legit, it's your fault not theirs. 2 people there at the same time as me told me to go elsewhere. 1 lady even said she was leaving to go to another company that pays way better. do yourself a favor and avoid this location (at the very least because I'm trying really hard not to blame biolife as a company for this) but come on. no competent staff? I've been donating with BioLife Plasma for three years at the Greenville South Carolina branch before moving to Kansas City. In order to donate here I had to put in a transfer from my previous center, which was accepted within 48 hours, my old center pushed all my information to this location for my first donation. When I arrived they only needed my ID and proof of my new address as I was already in their system. They screened me and I waited in line as per usual. The screeners and front of house staff were incredible nice and helped me through any questions I had involving my transfer. Due to Covid there is sometimes a wait for beds and a line to get stuck. They have arrows on the floor as well as blue "6 foot" distance squares clearly labeled on the floor to help with customer movements through the center. After my screening I waited in one of the chairs they have to offer until a bed opened up for me. The only criticisms that I could make is that their was a wait as I wasn't the only person donating. None of this was their fault as I know it takes a certain amount of time to donate and they have limited beds due to the social distancing guidelines, which they follow very well. I was stuck by a very friendly associate named Kayla who chatted with me about my previous donation experiences out of state. This location utilizes a different type of machine then I had been using before and I completed my donation in 37 minutes on my first visit, which was a minute short of my previous record. The staff was incredibly friendly and stopped by my bed multiple times to make sure everything was going well. The building itself has gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that allow a great amount of natural light into the building. If you have the chance to donate after noon they sometimes have the East facing blinds open which looks out onto a nice wooded area and you almost forget that you're near any other buildings. If you've donated at BioLife before I highly encourage this location! If you've never donated plasma before I would defiantly suggest BioLife over other companies in the area. They even have an app for easy scheduling and to keep you up to date on your balance, promotions, and any general questions you may have. read more

Every time I come in the staff are very friendly, even if they are visibly busy. It's great to see the new people become proficient in the process, and the total time in and out is usually about an hour, DRINK WATER!!! read more

I was a donor for a very long time and had taken a year plus off. I scheduled my appointment for my physical to begin donating again. I get there and the employees were just as pleasant as when I stopped. That is until I got to the nurse office. She seemed inconvenienced to be there and complete this physical. After asking the questions she had to and scanning my finger, she asked me to have a seat on the table. As I did, I cleared my throat. She said I would have to leave until my cough clears. I cleared my throat, it wasn't a full on cough. I advised her I am a smoker and have no other symptoms. I would completely understand if I was coughing and hacking but I simply cleared my throat. Please be advised if visiting this location, DO NOT CLEAR YOUR THROAT....YOU WILL BE SENT HOME. At least she was able to avoid working for a few more minutes. read more

Was very disappointed in my experiences. donated twice. refused to honor my codes after telling me for days they would. save your energy. 2 woman had conversations with me while waiting for my physical that I should go anywhere but there. long waits, rude staff who clearly dont know their own rules. it's ok to be wrong and tell someone incorrect information. but if you do that honor the fact that you were wrong. not me. but no. screw people over with things as tough as they are right now... please people. go ANYWHERE but this place. don't be sorry like me. Octapharma Plasma is way better and they honor your codes correctly? I at least have faith that they would find out the answer before just foot out lying to you about it. read more

They were great at first. I had a reaction on my first donation. Blood pressure dropped, and I vomited, almost passed out. The staff were very nice and attentive. They called the next day to check in on me. The next 3 donations went seemlessly only waited a little bit and was out quickly. The last 3 times Ive tried to donate I waited over 2 hours to donate. I ended up having to leave every time due to schedule conflict. The last couple months some of the staff has gotten progressively rude. read more

I started donating here a month or so ago and it was alright but went in and suddenly they are "appointment only" when on the website it says "walk-ins" welcome! I have a full time job at 12 hours a night I don't always have time to make an appointment so I've always went first thing in the morning and now I can't read more

I have been donating plasma for a couple years now and this is the worst center I have ever gone to. I am a patient person because I used to work at a plasma donation center and understand it can be busy but just a couple weeks ago I was completely ignored for 50 minutes before someone realized I was waiting to be removed from the machine. I am currently waiting to be stuck and it has been 55 minutes since I got to my seat. There are several people working and so I do not understand why I am having to wait so long to be helped. On top of that about 4 months ago I was told that I was deferred for 3 months for rbc (red blood cell) loss. Understandable, however about 2 months in I called to see when I could return and was told that I was never even deferred. read more
