I have only been able to donate here once. It was such a big hassle. Ironically every time I would come to this Biomat they have an issue with my pulse being too high, so I just stopped coming. Which is kind of strange, due to the fact I check my blood pressure before I come in there .Of course you are not going to get an accurate reading, they have bar like stools for chairs, which prevents you from having your feet planted flat on the floor. I'm a hospice nurse and know that your feet and arm have to be positioned the right way, to get an accurate reading. It seems like they might be trying to single out certain people and preventing them from donating. I really hope this is not the case because there is so many patients that need the plasma. Hopefully, management looks into this issue because it seems like this is happening quite often. read more

Coming here is an absolute drag . I noticed a lot of the guests are rude to staff , but it's because staff doesn't know how to professionally speak to guests . A lot of them are fairly young , and lack professionalism. A simple good morning or hello , is gonna come from here . They literally sigh every-time they have to move a limb . I over heard a few women complaining / venting to guests about their job and co workers . Additionally, it's absolutely wild to speak badly of the guests to other guests . We are NOT your friends . UPDATE: I came back for my 2nd new donor plasma donation. They said for whatever reason (they aren't sure) someone threw out my plasma sample and now i'm going to have to re-do the whole new donor process which takes 3 and a half hours. I decided to leave because I had stuff to do today and it's not worth it. I'm just disappointed in whoever took care of my plasma. I know it's not the front ladies fault but i'm just frustrated. Some of the staff are cool but EVERY friday I have to deal with this rude ass middle aged white lady who ignores everytime i say "have a good day" EVERYTIME, not only that but I work with my hands for a living fixing things and when she does my blood check on my finger she wipes my finger with an alcohol wipe and then looks at it with disgust(literally) so next tjme I go in and she pulls this...I WILL MAKE IT KNOWN. I've been coming here since 2020. Most of the phlebotomists are amazing! My favorite ones are Manny, Arlene, and Mona! They are always patient, kind and caring. On December 14 the person who disconnected me was so rude and I don't appreciate it at all. Get a bedside manner and be nice to the donors who are taking the time to come in. She was extremely aggressive while removing my cuff....remember, there is a needle in my arm. Also don't get so angry when I ask you to not wrap my arm to where it cuts off my circulation! I asked her if she was having a bad day, her rude reply was NO ARE YOU?!?! Come on now, do better, your job depends on our donations, remember that. read more

They changed my scheduled date format so I can't get my bonus with I. My 7 day period im currently in contact with the company trying to report them the beginning of every week is Sunday and the end is Saturday they say the beginning of their week is Monday to Sunday and though I donate twice in that period which is still within my 7 days that they made me sign a concord agreement with they changed it on me nun the less if I have to sue over this small issue I will but first I am trying to work it out with their company really look for better options before coming here they are really greedy and money hungry and constantly makes mistakes when poking people for plasma read more

Honestly I've donated before and the staff didn't have attitude. They ask you to eat before you get there because it's a long process, which I did but that was at 8 am when I left my house to come here. I've been coming Here for 3-4 years off and on & ALL Staff were cool, outgoing, had conversations with customers & The staff made it a social & enjoyable experience. I took a 4 month break and one I returned 11/1/2020 it was ALL NEW Staff. So when I donated I asked questions about what happened. They don't know but everyone, 10-15 employees all have been working here under 6 months, Or they say their new.. I've been stuck incorrectly which was a first. New staff is less friendly and kind of rude. They treat the regulars like it's their 1st time seeing them. It was a much better experience with the original staff. read more

I am all for donating plasma and helping make medicine for sick patients but this place is the worse place to go to by far. I went my first time and the employees are so lazy. To top it off I gave them a second try. I went yesterday to donate and the girl busted both my left and right arm veins. She clearly did not know what she was doing because she asked multiple people for help once she realized what she did. She didn't even have the nerve to apologize after busting both my veins. On my first visit their data system decided I had an invalid address - not true. They entered into Google maps and found that it WAS a valid address, but I was still required to wait 2 days to return, at which time I was forced to begin the on onboarding process and physical exam all over again. Strike 1. on my 5th visit the couldn't find the vein in my right arm and resorted to twisting and swiveling the shunt around in my arm which was painful. I finally told them to just put it in the left arm, so they unhooked me, and tried to hook up to the left, again having trouble catching the vein and painfully swiveling the shunt around. Strike 2. Once I was finally hooked up it became clear that the hookup wasn't right because the stuff wasn't flowing well, and tried to blame me for not drinking enough water the night before, which was false. They unhooked me and told me I would have to wait 2 MONTHS to return. Strike 3. I doubt that I will return. read more

Donated last week & they missed the vein. Been coming here for years & this is a first. Not sure if the workers feel rushed because they are understaffed or just incompetent. On the bright side they did say they were sorry & gave me a Snickers bar, so I guess were even. Also can't donate until the bruises go away. No big deal since the payouts have been decreasing. $30 less a week doesn't seem like much, but that's $120 less a month with 8 donations. I got there at 4:30 when i had an appointment at 5 o'clock They told me to wait for a chair to open up and i waited until 730 for which they told me I could not donate because they did not have a lot of nurses and they made me wait 4 to 3 hours just to go home. worst experience ever I would rather go to BIO LIFE OR CSL way more friendlier, and they let me know how long it will take. read more

I don't get the negative reviews... I'm a new donor and have just finished my 4th donation and everyone there is so freaking nice and professional. I am amazed at their customer service considering how many people they must see. Idk maybe cuz I'm nice and they're nice back? Guess it's a crazy concept.... anyways I've never had issues with the actual donation process. They are so professional and kind, they constantly checked on me during the process. (TIP: DONT eat spicy foods before you donate. It can raise the temperature in your mouth and disqualify you for the day) Also I am amAzed at all the incentives for you to keep donating like $10 Saturday loyalty bonus or an extra $25 bonus on your second donation between x date thru x date. (Make sure you sign up for text alerts - you'll have to show them the text to get the bonus) So happy for the extra cash and for such caring staff. read more

Was nice while it lasted. I was a regular donor for several months until one of my blood tests came back with elevated liver enzymes. Typically if this happens, they let you know and then if it happens again, you're deferred for a short period of time before being allowed back to recheck... this didn't happen with me. Because of a storm that was happening in a different area of the country, all of my test results from a short period of time came in at the same time and I was permanently deferred. I understand how rules work, but their policy is to defer for a month before getting retesting for a reason and I was denied that opportunity for reasons beyond my control. Besides this, during my time here, the facility was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Would still recommend them, but be aware they can permanently defer you without notice for any reason. read more

I really like being able to help people by donating, however I haven't been able to participate for a reason that is solely human error. I last donated in 2018, and recently called inquiring about coming back. I was told by a nurse that the center had changed computer systems, and that my information was going to have to be retrieved because of this. I have my information and was told someone would contact me once my information was pulled.....crickets. I called back after a couple of weeks and was told that the process takes awhile and that once again someone would call me. I essentially gave it/ forgot about it at this point because it wasn't worth the hassle. I remembered about this and inquired a week and a half ago and once again was told someone would contact me. Nothing. It's a shame because I'm healthy and am being prevented from donating because of what seems to be a problem with the staff and paperwork issues. read more

I visited this location 2x to be a new donor and was not assisted because they were not taking new donors the times I went. I was told they were understaffed and could not assist me. So if you're trying to be a new donor and can't come in during the morning, don't bother wasting your time. I stumbled across Octapharma Plasma looking for a donation center and they helped me out. I was in and out in 2 hrs. They have better bonuses as well. read more

Not sure what going on behind the scenes but nobody seems happy here, and if they do its so fake its almost like you wanna tell them you can relax. On top of that the wait times are ridiculous, and they never pay me right, i got a text for a bonus so i went and out of the three times i went, three times i had to call and have explained that it needs manager approval.....so let me get this straight....manager sends these texts out, knowing people are going to come and when they do we have to verify and jump through hoops to get paid? This Place is Amazing! I've been coming here for 3 years 2x a week the Staff is So Friendly Welcoming and Professional.

The staff is very friendly. And this location is always clean. Never gets too crowded like most plasma centers.

My mother was admitted in the evening and it wasn't until mid morning and I asked if her says had been checked and she was severely lacking oxygen. The tank sent with her at transfer had run out and who know how long she was without oxygen. She is to be using the breathing treatment each hour and I was told where is the one from the hospital. No one checked. I asked when she was last taken to the toilet and never was. She hadn't expelled urine in 19 hours! Had to repeatedly ask for her to be scanned or a cath. Staff said her assigned doctor is difficult to work with. I asked for her blood sugar to be checked and she was at 247 and needed insulin. Family needs to be present and repeatedly ask for staff to provide basic care!!! read more

This place is a nightmare, not worth it! They're on appointment basis which you would think they would have great turn-around but in reality it's even slower then before they started that appointment system. Their retention rate in employees is horrible, with new faces weekly. It's sad to see that some of the people here that are good for the company end up departing, only leaves you to wonder how is management? From the looks of it... Not great at all!!! Biomat Dallas would blow this place out of the water. Retention rate approximately 85%, turn around was 45-65 minutes, pays good, management was great, volume of people they would get was so darn high every bed was full, and best thing was you didn't need an appointment! This place has some major issues to address in so many areas. My concern is why isn't cooperate intervening? Hope things start changing for the best in regards to their clients and employees.
