The Dr. is nice but the fact that they make you pay a co-payment for a recheck on a small procedure is ridiculous. It's already the second day and they have not contacted Kaiser to give them my prescription. I can't speak to the doctor's skills because I never made it past the front desk. I called to schedule an appointment for foot pain and was told I couldn't book without my insurance card in hand. I explained I was happy to pay out of pocket or provide insurance details later -- I just needed an appointment. The receptionist refused and told me to call back when I had my card. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes with no one ever picking up. I called back and was immediately put on hold again -- I'm guessing caller ID played a role there. All it would have taken was someone saying, "Let me take your information and have a manager call you back." Instead, I was dismissed and ignored. A medical office that can't handle a basic scheduling call without treating a patient like an inconvenience has a serious front desk problem. I'll be finding another podiatrist. read more

So far, so good. Busy place with clean up to date waiting area. Several physician practice that is pretty common these days. Importantly, I've used two different physicians here and they are usually on time ie: 10:00 am may be seen at 10:10 or 10:15. I came to check up on the pain on my right toe. It was swelling, red and tender to the touch for over 2 months. I was so happy I was able to get an appointment in less than a week on such short notice unlike the other five foot clinics I called in Rancho Cucamonga which had a wait list of 3 weeks. The receptionists were very nice and courteous. The counter was clean and clutter free. I was quoted on surgery price and it was very reasonable. The waiting area was large and I felt safe in the waiting because everyone was at least 9 feet away from each other. The male Dr, Dr Savarian, not sure how to spell his name but he had great bedside manners and kept up the conversation to keep my mind off of the surgery that was done. He was so kind. I had minimal bleeding and pain. My toe healed wonderfully and I no longer have pain. Not sure why I waited that long to see the dr but my recommendation is to not wait, this place is awesome. All in all, I would highly recommend this faculty for all your toes, feet and ankle needs on price, location, patient safety, patient care and expertise. read more

Five stars simply isn't enough!! I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Laura O'Connell and staff. I have never experienced such a level of care and compassion for my pain. From Melissa at the front to Sandra in the back helping me with my leave from work. Everyone was exceptionally amazing. In Dr. O'Connell eyes I was not just a patient. I was someone in excruciating pain and she was determined to get to the bottom of it. She took the time and felt there was something more underlining causing my pain. She ran extra tests/bloodwork and was spot on. Her level of care, compassion and dedication to her patients is something you don't find now a days. I'm so extremely grateful to her and amazing staff. I would say management is on top of patients concerns when they are addressed. The office manager Norma makes sure that your experience here is a good one. If there is a concern addressed they don't hesitate to call you right away and rectify the issue. I went to Empire Foot and Ankle several times for a plantar fibroma. One doctor told me to do all these exercises and to "rub" the fibroma. I did the exercises and rubbed it but the fibroma did not change so I made an appointment to go back and saw the same doctor. I waited 40 minutes pas the appointment time then the doctor comes in with a smile and tells me "just rub it" and then leaves with no further information. I got so mad I made another appointment but with a different doctor. I saw the second doctor at Empire who told me the exact opposite of the first doctor and told me nothing will fix it. He did not seem to care at all about me or my issue. So I am DONE with the idiots at Empire. read more

Went to see the Dr for a consultation on a bunion and corns, Kaiser referred me to them. Unfortunately the staff was horrible, the doctor barely touched my foot and I got a bill for $459.00. NO TREATMENT WAS GIVEN TO ME AT ALL!! WHY AM I PAYING FOR NOTHING. The Dr was supposed to return to the room to treat the corn but never came back and when I asked he was already with another patient and I was told I could wait until he was free...NO Thanks. I went in with pain at the top of my toe,the Dr.said I had an ingrown nail,but it was at the top, anyway he did the removal but it still hurt so he got out a drill and drilled under the nail and took out a lot of material and I was in more pain than ever, he told me to come back in 6 weeks and it hurt more than ever, I said I think, something is in my toe so he gets his x ray woman who tries 4 times only to find out the machine is upside down eventually I get an ex ray taken and after all this the Dr. asks me when I broke my toe and brings a surgeon in,he just happens to be down the hall,no I won't be going back! read more

I was just asking questions and she seem like she had an attitude why I don't know... Beware! Went in as they are a network provider (BC/BS). Paid office copay of $40, ended up getting inserts made for shoes. 2 months later received a bill for $275! When I called and asked they said insurance only covers 70% and I'm on the hook for 30%. Had I known or if they would have provided to me what the procedure would cost me, I never would have agreed. I do not understand how this place can continue to be in business. What they do is give you a completely incorrect diagnosis and then an expensive treatment plan that does NOTHING to fix the issue(s). I kept checking my symptoms myself, and reading up about it online, and finally discovered that what I have is a bone spur. This doctor didn't even do any X-rays! He instead did all sorts of other procedures, related to diabetes, even ordering new SHOES (which made my problems WORSE). He's always in a huge rush and barely answers any questions. HORRIBLE doctor, HORRIBLE experience, and I am still sitting here in great PAIN because of this extremely low-quality treatment. I am on the hunt for a different doctor, but wow, this is not my first experience with very low-quality doctor care. It's prevalent throughout this industry. read more

I saw Dr Didari for my flat foot pain. He was very professional and caring. He reviewed different treatment plans with me in depth. Finally he made me some orthotics. Orthotics initially needed some modification, however, I am completely pain free now. The Office was clean and modern. Office staff were polite and attentive.
