It's actually great here most of the time, from the staff, and service to the donation, but today was agitating. Their new appointment scheduling sucks. I got here 20 minutes earlier then my appointment time, and there were plenty of staff sitting around and they said they could not help me . It was only two customers in the facility. I think that is ridiculous. read more

If you are trying to be a good person and donate your plasma for just a little bit of cash do NOT come here! I've donated here for a couple of months till I got accused of taking money from them and also said that I would go to every employee in the center trying to con them into getting paid more for my donation when that NEVER happened. What happened was that I would read their "bonus" text messages so I would show the desk so I could get the bonus, when it came time to get my money I would notice that I never got the bonus so I would call in or show up very calm in person stating that I didn't get the bonus. They would then correct me and explain the text to me on why I didn't get the bonus because clearly I didn't understand how the bonuses worked but when I would call the card again it showed that they did end up giving me the bonus anyway. I have no control over that but they accused me of taking their money and stating that I would go to every employee trying to con everyone till I would get the answer I was looking for. All the employees would just cover their own ass and blame me because it was clearly a mistake on their end but don't want to admit it. I don't have access to their system to be able to put the money in my own account, they did that on their own because they didn't read the text right or like myself didn't understand the text but yet I was the one who they pointed fingers at so I got flagged. I kept returning because it did seem like a nice place at first but it's all a cover up to hide how unprofessional they are by overpaying clients and then accuse that client of stealing. I would give this place 1 star if it wasn't for Emmanuel who definitely deserves a higher position. There are numerous people who stick who have been rude and say it's "not their fault" for bad sticks that leave you in a lot of pain, bruises, and unable to donate again; it makes you never want to come back. I primarily trust Emmanuel, Hector, and Indahlia to do my pokes as they have always been exemplary staff. If someone is not well practiced in pokes they should be able to express that they aren't confident with difficult sticks and have someone with more experience take over. If it weren't for the select group of people who are always friendly and kind I would never come here. Management here is a joke. The blonde lady in management is always rude, never smiles or greets anyone, and refused to let me wait 20 mins for someone to finish lunch for me to request a stick so I left. She thinks she's going to control my autonomy to who I feel comfortable poking me by denying me a donation so she can increase the time in and out for the pigs who sit on top of her but I actually come here to help people not just for money so good for her to be a corporate swine licker! read more

First time ever donating plasma, definitely recommend you make an appt. I was here for 5 hours because I was late so I was considered a walk-in. The staff was very professional and polite. Once I started filling out the first form everything else went by faster. They give you $75 first time and if you have a referral you get more. It's takes longer the first time because your a new donor after that it should be way quicker. Overall this wasn't a bad experience and I'll be coming back. read more

The first two visits were amazing, but then my last two were horrible. The first horrible experience came with a collapsed vein performed by a young man who told me he didn't have a licence to draw anyone's blood (should've said nope). The second horrible experience had me waiting for over two hours. There's about three nice, polite and professional mannered people working there so don't give any attitude because you'll end up waiting longer than you'd ever think. read more

I made an appointment on a Sunday morning. I still didnt get into the chair until an hour after my appointment time. The pay is good if you are a new donor, but I am not a new donor. I thinking $25 compensation is not worth two hours. A few of the employees need to talk less and do their job. read more

My wait gets longer every time i visit. Its been 45 minutes and I haven't got on a cot yet. Why make an appointment if im not taken back for an hour after it was set. They pay is ok, but I really don't have time to be there for more than two hours. Maybe they should schedule less appointments if they don't have the staff. read more

The place is nice and clean. To become a donor it's a process probably like 2 hours or more. Each time after that it goes by quickly. The girls that work there are nice! I had one girl Rocio she was so rude! She's actually the only rude one Ive seen so far. So unprofessional. Otherwise it's great that we can donate plasma and help people who need it. read more

Everything is great except the people donating. I hope there's extensive research done on the plasma donated, half these people are either homeless or look dope sick and it's really off putting. It's hard to get and schedule an appointment due to the turnover rate this place oversees. I understand we all may need a extra few bucks, but this isn't a place for sole income. It just really irks me when you're standing there trying to schedule an appointment within your time frame and your spot gets taken by someone else. It gets cold, so make sure to bring a jacket. Headphones are also a plus to have read more

Very professional I was kinda nervous because my veins are usually really hard to find but the they got me on the first time each time, I have been 3 times and proud to make a difference with my plasma. First time donating with an appointment to me 5 hours. I had an appointment, which is supposed to have priority, but that was absolutely not the case. The processed 3 walks in( that walked in right at my appointment time). To street filling out the paperwork I waited for 3 hours. After that it was a bit 2 hours until I was actually able to donate. My donation was 32 mins. I came back to donate with my sibling and it took him 1.30 to get the paperwork. He decided to leave, while I was a bit to check in at the kiosk, he told me he was leaving, so I said come back when im done to pick me up and a last yelled at us with a rude attitude "can't talk at the kiosk" a s I tired yelling her I was telling him to come back for me. She yelled again "can't talk at the kiosk". I hadn't even checked in at the kiosk. Most of the staff is polite but some have their attitude and are just rude. Making the whole experience there uncomfortable and unpleasant. read more

Donating here is easy and the folks in the back donation area are awesome. The front desk must be the worst job in the place because anyone up there is chilly and curt. Same thing with the phone. Your front desk folks are the face of your location. Warmth, charm and smiles are necessary!! read more

I'm extremely weary about this place, I've been calling every other week to make an appointment since February and can't reach anyone. Each time I call its automated and when I press 0 to talk to someone it says its invalid and hangs up on me.I guess they don't need new donations. read more

I want to say this location claims they are doing it for the sake of the patients in need well we thar are donating for the compensation right now we as well are in need when I started coming here new patients were receiving $900 and returning patients were walking away with anywhere from $125.00 with the happy hour bonuses now new patients are getting $500 a month and returning patients we are lucky if we're walking out of there for with $75 for our time and effort being there now I know that they're not making any less on what they're collecting from all of us but yet it seems that it's all about greed because now they want to raffle one TV or two TVs for every donation that they collect in a month's time for how many patients that's ridiculous we don't need TVs we're doing it because we need to pad our income with everything that's so expensive and now they're just paying everybody next to nothing and those of us that need the money have no other choice it's all over corporate greed they should be ashamed of themselves read more

This was my first time ever donating and I had a really good experience at this location, the first time you donate you have to fill out paper work then read a binder which has all the risks that can happen while donating plasma this part take the longest bc it's like 4-5 pages you have read front and back, then they give you a video which is kinda short, then they take your finger print and your pix. The next part of the screening is they walk you to a kiosk which you answer yes and no questions basically making sure you don't have a medical disease like hep b, HIV, ext. Then they take your weight and blood pressure and prick you to take a small blood sample to check the iron and proteins in your blood. Then you get a physical more yes and no questions and then when that is all said and done and you're ready to donate. The ppl there are really friendly and nice and very welcoming it's very clean oh and very COLD! I run really warm and dont get cold but in this place its like a freezer even the staff tells you the first time that when you come back bring a sweater or a blanket for the donating process bc at the end of donating they give you saline which will make your body really really cold. So you have been warned! The first time you donate is $75 You can refer a friend after 6 times you donated and they have to donate 2 times before you get the $50 and they will load it on a pre paid Visa card which you can get cash out after you leave the center. read more

I'm use to donating plasma back in my home town in Michigan at Biolife Plasma so I was really excited that this location opened up close to were I live. What better way to get paid while your also saving life's. Make sure you were something warm because it gets extremely cold in the building (freezer cold). The donation process takes about 1-1.5 hours so make sure to bring a phone or something to keep you occupied while you donate. They also give you a debit card that gets loaded every time you donate. Make sure to invite friends because you get money for that too :) read more

Place is ok always takes a long time, either you are waiting long to get your vitals checked or you are waiting a long time to get set up by their techs. The techs are a bit of a hit and miss there is a few who arnt good are setting you up one time I had a huge bruise another time my arm hurt a for a couple days, however eventually you learn who to avoid get pricked by and you can request a different person. I don't understand why the hire people who arnt that good at it but it is what it is they make a ton of money from your plasma you get a little extra cash and people get the medication they need. read more

Do not come here. I faced discrimination by neurotic employees for having bad veins when I have donated many times and I am in great health at my age this is unheard of. I will be suing the establishment. Nobody goes through this I felt very persecuted and discriminated against. read more

The service her is absolutely annoying. The workers take their sweet time getting people processed and they go out of order. I waited 30 mins before being helped because the lady up front forgot about me but helped 5 to 6 other people who came after me. I haven't been to this location for a while and instead of giving me some sort of heads up I would have to go thru the whole new patient process again she tells me after I'm already answering questions on the kiosk and in process of an appointment. From the time I came in until I'm writing this post it's been an hour and I still have not been seen. You guys need to do better. read more

Don't waste your time coming to this donation center. They waste your time. Octopharma is the better option. Not all but some of the people here are just lazy and rude. I had 3 CO2 errors because they can't put a cuff on right. Again waking up at 5 am to be turned away because intake is to lazy to do a manual blood pressure and can't put a BP cuff on properly. read more

This place is always profressional, clean, and the staff is always nice. Rocio, Destiny, and all the girls in the back are always so nice and patient if they need to restick you. It takes longer then normal sometimes but remember your helping to save lives and getting paid to do It. read more

Tried to call and make an appointment yesterday, and of course has some questions. But apparently I was taking to long to make up my mind, because the receptionist rudely told me "so are you going to make the appointment or call back? Because I have donors to attend too." I get that they are busy. But why am I going to waste my time and gas if My questions were not answered ? I'm new at this and I'm sure this isn't how you treat "donors". THEN today I called to make an appointment, and the lady says let me check to see what availability we have. I WAS ON HOLD FOR 10 min before I hung up. If you aren't properly staffed don't answer the phone or say call back in 15 min. I'm kinda disappointed. read more

Today I will consider the worst stick I had from this place because it was from the same person that stuck me in a place where there were no veins. Today I was able to see her name card for the first time and it was Liseth. In all honesty, I feel like she just doesn't like to stick people because the two times I had her, she did not pay attention to how my veins flowed and rushed the needle in. Like I mentioned earlier, the first time she stuck me, it was in an area where there were no veins. The second time should have been obvious but she still rushed. There's a difference to being fast because you actually know what you're doing and being fast just for the sake of being fast for other reasons. I feel like she falls in the second category. She might be the squeamish type but idk. If I were her supervisor, I would look into her mentality with her current position and maybe offer her a different position like admin. read more

I've been coming here a while and everything has been great, but lately I've had some issues. They have some weird policies that are just frustrating. First they make you stay on a really strict schedule from week to week and my life can't always work around that. I drive 55 miles to this place because it's the closest for me to donate and it's stupid that because their little machine doesn't want to read my blood pressure 3 times for what ever reason that I cannot donate. That's not my fault! Your machine isn't working properly! And why do you have RNs that can't take a blood pressure reading manually?! You have to depend on technology that's obviously not working consistently?! Also, I've donated using either arm here, but sometimes they don't know how to adjust a needle in a shallow vein and bruise me then I can't donate because they won't take it from the other arm even though it's been successful before. The only thing this place has going for it is that it's cleaner than most, other than that this is getting ridiculous. I need to find a better place to donate. [Edit] Please note I do not have a problem with the staff here they are always great. It still continues to frustrate me though that the blood pressure machines aren't always working properly for whatever reason. I have now been turned away 4 times because of this issue. I don't have this problem at doctors offices or hospitals, only here. I live 55 miles away from this place and I have a difficult schedule so I can't just come down whenever. I just don't understand why the machine will not read my blood pressure after I've done everything they've asked. Relax, deep breath, sit up straight, raise the chair higher, feet flat on the ground yet still the machine will not read. :( read more

This place is amazing!! And I won't go anywhere else to donate plasma. Each associate that I dealt with one on one was so knowledgeable and friendly. With it being my first time I was very nervous and they answered all my questions with a smile on their face. While the process was kind of lengthy it was very fluid. I was there in total for about three and a half hours but the actual donation part of it only took about 38 minutes. They are very thorough in making sure you fully understand the process and what to expect after donation. MAKE SURE you drink plenty of fluids beforehand so you don't end up almost assing out like I did lol.. I will say though as soon as I mentioned I was dizzy I had at least 2 to 4 of the associates by my side checking on me and my vitals until the process was done. If it's your first time donating I would make sure that you eat a good meal almost right before you walk through the doors just because it's going to take awhile to get to the actual donation part. read more

Giving this place 1 star. They really need to train some of these new girls in the back before they even let them alone on the floor. I was helped by Julissa twice already and I got a bad experience with her BOTH times! She doesn't know what she's doing. She needs assistance almost every time with every single person she helps cause she doesn't know how to find the vein or stick the needle in. And she's rude. She didn't talk the whole time. Didn't even greet me. Hopefully she gets better at her job. And hopefully they get better at training all these new girls. They seem to get new employees like every other month. read more

They are pretty good . except when a new employee is putting needles too far inside your arm . shouldn't be training on real people. Also I asked for water while giving plasma and they said they are saving the waters for sick people. All the blood money they're making they should at least invest in a 3 gallon water jug at least. If you donate to help great but hopefully you dont have to resort to this because you need to eat. read more

Let me start off by saying the employees are very polite. I called in a few days ago in regards to requirements and they failed to tell me everything I drove 30 minutes out for them to tell me I couldn't do it. 1st I came as a new member I had my W2 in hand because I didn't have my social security card at the time but they said they needed the W2 specifically from my job and I was like wtf is the difference a W2 is a W2 why does it have to be from my job so I couldn't donate that day...... Came back the next month with my social security card instead and filled out the paperwork. I had gotten a tattoo in August and their rule is it has to be at least 4 months after getting a tattoo to donate, it had been 3 and 3/4 of a month so I had to wait another week and they wanted me to provide the license of the tattoo shop, so I couldn't donate that day either.....Came back again thinking the 3rd time was going to be a charm and showed them a pic of the tattoo artist license certificate(it was kinda blurry) then they said it has to be the license for the business and not and individual tattoo artist license because there can be many tattoo artist that work there and I'm sitting there like but only 1 guy did the tattoo Every time I try to donate it's something new and it pisses me off. It's fursure not worth it. Another blood bank needs it more than they do. read more
