I was craving some bionicos came here. There's plenty of places in the area. I'll try them all. BZ was ok. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of service. The lady that put my order together was really sweet and helpful. And another young lady. Maybe her daughter? Very nice people here and I love supporting local businesses. I ordered two orders of fresas con crema (strawberries and cream) and an order of bionicos (mixed fruit and other toppings). My total was around $26. Not bad. But not good either. My strawberries were fresh and plentiful. However the condensed milk in my bionicos and fresas was a bit weird. Thick. And not in a good way. The papaya was mushy bevy it was over ripe and so were the apples and banana. I won't be back. But I'll leave a good review based on service and because I got what I paid for. Sunday morning after a breakfast meeting I wanted to bring something home for the family. Fresh fruit bionico sounded like a solid choice! For those of you who don't know Bionico is a serving of fresh assorted fruit with yummy toppings. Typically they include yogurt, sweet cream, granola raisins and shredded coconut. This place is very clean and prepared for you order. They serve fresh juiced juices, snow cones(raspados) , sandwiches and nachos. I ordered the fruit. The fruit was chopped already and displayed very nicely in cooking try's to keep it cold. They offer three sizes. 6-8-18. 6 dollars was a small clear container small! The 8 looked like the same size container but it was styrofoam!?!. The 18. Was a nice size clear container it was like a normal to go size. I opt for just the fresh fruit. The toppings are super yummy if your in the mood for a very sweet treat. This morning just the fruit please. The servicer/ attendant was very helpful and nice. I'm a total porcha(American-Mexican) so I accidentally asked for sliced maybe clam on my fruit. Clearly a nacho topping . I didn't know!! She giggled and so did I. When I arrived home and dug into my fruit it was good but not all the fruit was fresh. Some of the grapes, water melon and pineapple were past there freshness period. I would say it was a 80/20 split. 80 fresh and yummy and 20 meh. Fruit though I feel posses a challenge with knowing how sweet or ripe it is unless you can see it or taste as you prep. So I came in and the lady only speaks Spanish and she was the only one here. Just my luck!! She was helping another lady and could barely understand what she was ordering. My 1st time here. I decided not to go get a donut which is next door and try this place out. They have 3 large tv's with their menu on them which makes it so convenient to order. I was told they had opened up June of this year. I ended up ordering the Hungry smoothie which contains orange, strawberry, carrots, pineapple, papaya, melon, banana and apple. They do not add sugar to any of their smoothies so you want to add extra sweetness they can put honey. Tastes real good. Was very disappointed. When I arrived the restaurant is clean which is always nice however the language barrier made it very difficult to order as the employee did not speak english.
