The drinks took a bit to get out as we played a few games of connect 4 before having our drinks ready. 5/5 Ambiance It's a smaller boba spot but they do have a few tables and some high tables. They have board games in the corner for you to sit and enjoy your drinks. 4/5 Parking Spots up front but limited. You may have to park away. There's a gas station next door and a restaurant. I had a lovely experience at Boba Lair (La Puente). I ordered the Sunset Lemonade ($6.50). It's tangy, thirst-quenching, and it includes fresh rainbow jelly. TASTY! I arrived at Boba Lair (La Puente) on Sunday (around 4:08PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. Customers order at the counter. Staff (receipt says Mariana) is welcoming, professional, and hard working. Mariana politely answered all my questions, and Mariana worked quickly & efficiently. My drink took two minutes and 54 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered their popular Sunset Lemonade ($6.50). It's a colorful drink, but it's also a really tasty lemonade. The drink is tart, chill, and refreshing. The Rainbow Jelly topping also surprised me with its light, playful texture. YUM! Regarding ambiance, Boba Lair (La Puente) has a very clean and welcoming interior. Although its exterior looks ugly and worn down, the interior is refreshing and well-ventilated (almost windy) which feels lovely during these hot days. The location holds about six tables. Boba Lair (La Puente) also has utility. There's customer internet with password; information is displayed near the cash register. There's also four available electrical outlets. I also appreciate the game corner (ex: Connect 4, Sorry, Playing Cards, etc). This location does not have a restroom, but there's a hand sanitizer bottle on the counter. I also enjoyed the upbeat music. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Boba Lair (La Puente). It almost felt like a secret hotspot guarded by the community. I was satisfied on my first visit: solid drinks, cozy decor, friendly service, and immediate delivery. On my revisit, the experience was still fair. A hole in the wall in La Puente! I did not expect a decent boba place out in this area. Pricing is comparable to other boba shops. Workers are very friendly. Drinks- I would definitely say that there are some good drinks, and there are some fair drinks, and it definitely depends on your preferences as well. For instance, I'm not a fan of the black sesame matcha; however, I am a huge fan the jasmine milk tea with sea salt cream (can adjust sweetness) and the thai tea with sea salt cream (cannot adjust sweetness). I recommend for customers who like sea salt cream to try this both as a topping and another time mixed in to see how you enjoy it more. It's honesly decent boba, especially with the lack of good boba places in this area. Food- Their cookies are pretty large and they have a variety of flavors from chocolate chip to m&m to red velvet. They're even better warmed. I have not tried their other sweets, such as acai bowls. Additionally, they do sell bags of chips, such as hot cheetos and takis. I personally WISH they had some classic savory boba shop foods, such as popcorn chicken, fries, and sweet potato fries. In terms of studying, the max amount of time to do work here is about 2 hours. There is WiFi and several available outlets, however minimal seating, and NO bathrooms. The noise level is quiet to fair. read more

Outside of a singular photo op wall, this place really gave me "Quickly" vibes and my expectations were kind of low. Boy was I surprised! The Asian lady working here was really nice and friendly. Many options of drinks to choose from, as well as some unique fruit / health bowls, looked good, but wanted a drink on this visit. Went with a strawberry / banana smoothie and it was actually really good, tasted just like a banana and ..........you guessed it, a strawberry milkshake. So looking at the menu, they have all kinds of flavors, with or without boba, Thai ice tea's and coffees, can't wait to try their Thai ice tea. Finally got to try this place out. Our barista was super nice and sweet. She recommended the Lavender Milk Tea so that's exactly what I got with Boba. My mom and sister got Boba Milk Teas which were pretty good as well. They give a pretty generous amount of boba which is always a plus!
