Really didn't know what to expect but this dessert truck is great. They don't serve real ice cream but don't let that fools you. The nieves is sort a blended sorbet/ icee ice cream depending on what flavor. I had both the vanilla and strawberry with cream. Both exceeded my expectations and honestly was nice. Imagine the icee texture but colder and packed harder like a scoop. Not to mention I'm guessing it's slightly better since it's made with more water versus heavy cream. read more

Lol I've tried many things from their menu already, but their guava and tamarindo nieves aren't the most flavorful (in my opinion). I read yelp reviews before and for a non-hispanic person, I was very unaware of what all the different types of drinks consists of. I ordered the Diablito which consisted of (your choice) of sorbet and Chile powder. It also came with chile candy on a straw so that was awesome. I've had chamango before which I was originally thinking of getting, but it looked watery in the pictures so I opted for something I could eat instead of drink. Sometimes, I get the chamango and add a scoop of limon nieve to it. Adding that scoop makes this refreshing dessert exponentially better than it already is. It has a very well balanced flavor of sweetness, sourness and spiciness all in one. I believe it is an extra dollar for the scoop but don't quote me on that; I wasn't charged once and then charged for it a different time. I am tempted to try others but I love the chamango so much that I always end up getting that one each time!
