Upon walking into this establishment, i got this weird unfriendly vibe. Thats fine, let the food speak for itself. I ordered the eggplant ricotta w penne, chicken alfredo, and a beef dip to go. Pasta for both dishes are mushy and overcooked. The alfredo sauce was curdled and clumpy and needed salt. I did ask for extra sauce, but this wasnt the issue. Beef sandwich was dry, but hey thats what the dipping broth is for. Unfortunately the broth/au jus was SOUR. I thought it was spoiled and the taste almost made me vomit. Like imagine youre expecting beef broth flavor and instead you get some vinegary liquid taste. I called them and they said the chef JUST tasted it and said they added too much worchestershire sauce. Ok, ill give them the benefit of the doubt that their broth wasnt spoiled since i did taste the worchestershire. BUT why isnt the chef tasting as they cook to control their food quality? I paid for this nasty, sour broth i cant even finish bc it is so gross and taste fermented. Aside from the mushy pasta, the eggplant ricotta was ok. The marinara sauce they use is way too salty.
