"It's a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch (or you can opt for no touch to activate the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well being". After a brief consultation of what my issues were, I was asked to remove jewelry, shoes and lay on table facing up. There was soothing music playing and water sounds along with a salt lamp that gave the room a spa feel. I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my 45 min session. I learned about some things I can do with essential oils to ease any discomfort. I felt better than I did going in and would return for Reiki again for overall wellness and well being!
