My general practitioner sent me to this location of Brooks rehab rehabilitation after discovering…read morethat somehow I had bursitis, tendinitis, and arthritis in both my shoulders and biceps. Following further evaluation by the physical therapist, Rachel Jeffries, that was assigned to my case... I began rehab three days a week for 12 weeks. I was assigned at home exercise exercises and stretches to do as well as see the therapist three days a week in the office. You would think that the exercises and stretches that you were doing to heal your body become easier overtime, but for me, the exact opposite happened. This is not doing anything wrong. It is because I was pushing myself too hard! Rachel was a wonderful PT! Very knowledgeable and very caring in what she was trying to heal and teach me how to heal myself! She was meticulous while determining the range of motion that was increased through her help and also in researching ways that I could continue to improve while at home! While I was under the care of Brooks rehab, I never once walked into my sessions to see that they were overbooked or understaffed! Each patient received personal one-on-one care from their therapist! Rachel was always attentive and ready to correct anything I was doing incorrectly or that could be detrimental to my healing! After 12 weeks, I was released to go back to work with good improvement in both shoulders and my biceps, but not long after I returned to work I had to have rotator cuff surgery on both of my shoulders! Post surgery I absolutely would've returned to Brooks rehab, but I took the easy way out and used the physical therapy team that was attached to my doctor's office at the hospital! Either way, I would highly recommend the team at Brooks Rehab! They provided some of the best physical therapy care that I have ever received!

They made me totally reschedule. Also, I had to get my doctor to sign off on the therapy within 30 days, and the therapist didn't send the paperwork to him until the week before my 30 days were up, and that was at my reminding her. Today when my therapist called in sick again, I was told I could not reschedule due to my doctor not signing their papers. I told them it's not mine or my doctor's fault, it's the therapist and Brooks for not getting him the paperwork in a timely manner. My doctor even told me in person he would sign it, but hadn't received their paperwork. I am now in limbo, without a therapist, because they won't reschedule me until they get the signed order. I will not be going back.

I started with Dr. Yurio and after a few sessions of physical therapy ordered an MRI. Turns out I completely tore my ACL and part of my meniscus. I was presented with my options and ultimately decided to have surgery to repair my injuries. I was transferred to Dr. Kaplan and he again presented me with my options. I decided to continue moving forward with the surgery. At no time was I pressured into having the surgery. For my lifestyle and health it made sense to move forward. Fast forward to surgery day - The surgery center is in the same building and is well maintained. I was introduced to several people who would be participating in the surgery and each one confirmed with me why I was there. It was clear patient care and safety was a top priority. Follow up appointments were a breeze. They email any paperwork required prior to the appt. And after check in the most I ever waited was 5 mins in the big waiting room or in the actual room. I saw either the PA and Surgeon during these appts. Both were professional and never made me feel rushed and felt comfortable asking questions. I was in and out in less than 30 mins from check in to check out. I had a positive experience from start to finish with this group of Dr.s and would recommend them. There are several Dr.s with different specialties available. I did see one of the foot Dr.s several years ago, can't recall his name, and did not have the same positive experience.

I am extremely disappointed. I have gone to Dr. Northrop for a bad knee. The last time was 3 months…read moreago. He has been pushing for me to have a total knee replacement utilizing his robotic approach. I found out that Physical Therapy would be helpful for me to build up the muscles around my knee. He has never suggested it. So I called his office. They said he needed to see me. I explained I saw him 3 months ago. His PA insisted I see him again. When I pressed why he wanted to see me she said he wanted to go over what kind of physical therapy I will need. I told her I will not pay $80 for an appointment when the Physical Therapy place knows what to do. All I needed was a script. She then said that my insurance won't pay for PT since I saw the doctor three months ago. I told her I was not going though insurance for the PT. Then they gave me another story and said maybe something has changed with my knee in the past 3 months. I have had 2 sets of X-Rays over a year and nothing has changed. When she exhausted her reasons for seeing me she put me on with another woman who said they must see me. I am done with Dr. Northrop. Obviously my $80 is of utmost importance to him. Beware!!!!!!

I guess I'll be the odd man out here and not give a 5 star review…read more I'll preface by saying I had to reschedule my initial consult twice (inconvenience to the company and doctor), and I was set up on a promotional 3 free visits. Is it possible that those things came into play in my situation? Yes. Am I sure? No but either way, I am not satisfied nor am I willing to waste more time here. I came in this week on Tuesday for an initial consultation at 930. I was given paperwork and then a tour. Now its around 10 AM The place is clean and well taken care of and recently remodeled it looks like. The receptionist and staff are friendly and smiling. The girl who did my first few tests was very sweet and took time to explain each test she was performing. Now its 10:52 and she sends me to a room to wait for the doctor to perform an X-ray. I wait 10,20 , 25 minutes while hearing him do adjustments and talking to his patients. The walls are VERY thin. Finally at 11:30 I walk out to the front to let them know I will just reschedule if the doctor is busy. He was standing there , at the desk when I said it( I had no idea what he looked like, ha) . So he says no I'm ready now..He takes me back and does his measuring and xray and tells me why I need to get my sporadic pains treated because they are bound to be worse in ten years. That I stand lopsided and one leg is longer than the other. I ask "oh,, what can I do about that?" His arrogance on display "Its not something you can fix its something I fix" NO details about treatment were given, everything is either a rush, or a smart comment. I got a condescending attitude no matter what I said. He finished up evaluating my spine, and flexibility etc. around 12pm. "You're a mess" was his last comment. I just didn't get the feeling that I would be cared for in the manner that I wanted. Then I made an appointment to return at 1pm to view my results , then I realized I was already there for 2 and a half hours for a consultation! I decided another day would be best so I scheduled for this Friday. (Tomorrow) to view my "results" but they texted me today to see if they could move it back another 15 minutes (meaning another 30-45 minutes) It seems like they have an overbooking problem and an overconfidence problem. I'll pass and if I find I need a chiropractor in the future I'll check elsewhere. I don't ask anyone to sugar coat or kiss up to me , but if you want to get my business Respect is number one. It seems like its not on the list of priorities here. But it looks like I had a unique experience.
